Star Wars: Episode VII – The Cast Reveal!

It’s crazy to think how popular Star Wars is! George Lucas made billions off of the series, and now Disney looks to do the same thing! Back in 2012, Disney bought Lucasfilm for 4 Billion Dollars, and there looking to add a seventh installment to the Star Wars Films. Unlike the prequels, this one is set to take place after the very last Star Wars movie, Episode Six! Earlier today the cast was revealed! John Boyega, Daisy Ridley, Adam Driver, Oscar Isaac, Andy Serkis, Domhnall Gleeson, and Max von Sydow are all fresh faces to the Star Wars franchise, and sadly I don’t recognize  any of there names so I don’t know how much they will add to the series!

There  were other cast members reveled today and that was, Harrison Ford ( Han Solo), Carrie Fisher (Princess Leia), Mark Hamill (Luke Skywalker), Anthony Daniels (C3PO), Peter Mayhew (Chewbacca) and Kenny Baker (R2-D2). Its crazy to learn that the original cast from the originally trilogy will return to the film, but how much of a role will they play? I would imagine the movie would have to be many years after Luke defeated The Dark Side, considering most of them probably don’t look like their characters to much anymore, but I’m glad to see them back!

I may not be the biggest Star Wars fan, but I’m excited to see what Disney does with this! They have improved the Marvel Cinematic Universe, ever since they took over from Paramount Studios once The Avengers came out, so I full faith in them! Star Wars: Episode VII is set to release on December 18th, 2015! Are you as excited for the next Star Wars, as I am? What are you looking forward to the most, and do you think the original cast will have major parts in the movie or on minor? Whatever Disney decides to do, it can’t be any worst the Episodes 1-3!
