NEW REMIX ALERT: DVBBS Releases Remix of Steve Aoki’s & Louis Tomlinson’s “Just Hold On”

cover-13

Damn you guys, these brothers are on fire! Coming off of a rather packed full 2016, with major live performances at Tomorrowland and EDC Las Vegas, anyone would expect these brothers to take some time off. Well why slow down? Why not have a brand new showcase featuring a massive amount of guest collaborators? Well in order to prove us wrong, they did just that. Since the recent success of their Beautiful Disaster EP, DVBBS has been keeping themselves busy in the studio. This time around, they bring us their latest remix…”Just Hold On” by Steve Aoki & Louis Tomlinson. “Just Hold On” has been mega successful on its own, so do you think the DVBBS remix holds a candle?

Unlike most remixes, we here at MiR see the DVBBS remix actually rather being loyal to the original track. Since “Just Hold On” is a rather high-profile song, this was definitely a difficult undertaking. However, DVBBS was able to make a dynamic and party-friendly track that does play plenty of homage to its original beginnings. This is only the first remix to come out of DVBBS’s 2017 catalog, as we can actively look forward to new collaborations with the likes of NERVO, 2 Chains, and Cody Simpson. If their remixes/collabs continue to be this excellent, they may be featured here more often.

Be sure to listen to DVBBS’s remix of “Just Hold On” below:
