Habstrakt & Bellecour Team Up For French-Italia Fusion House Track “Lasagne”

Let’s take a journey overseas for a French Italian fusion dish that will wet our appetite. On our recent trip over to Monstercat, we snagged a copy of “Lasagne”, a brand new singer from French producer Habstrakt and Italian duo Bellecour. Habstrackt began his road to music originally as a guitar and keys player, before discovering dubstep and drum ‘n’ bass in 2008. While these genres were his initial love, he began to grow as he explored more of what electronic music had to offer. Habrstrakt’s style has grown and evolved, with now a more modern French urban sound mixed with the roots of his first love. Habstrakt has been incredibly busy throughout 2019, with multiple releases on Monstercat, Tiesto’s Musical Freedom, Spinnin’ Records, as well as a recent debut on SLANDER & NGHTMRE‘s Gud Vibrations.

This is definitely not your traditional formulaic Italian electronic track. “Lasagne” stands out from the rest of Italian house tracks coming out as of late (believe us, we cover them a lot) with its high-energy kick drums creating a funky electro house feel. The track’s electro tempo and filthy basslines add to the funky French fusion style that fir right into Habstrakt’s wheelhouse. While Bellecour may still be upcoming and rising up the ranks, they have definitely given fans a taste of what they can do, even without Habstrakt’s assistance. Anyone want to take bets n how fast this will light up the festival circuit?

Make sure you check out “Lasagne” on Spotify below, or over on YouTube!
