When We Are Divided, Cuebrick is Here to Help “United”

Hey look, a wild Cuebrick has appeared! This artist has sure been busy since he last visited us in April. Cuebrick brings with him his latest release over on Enhanced, “United”, in collaboration with fellow artist The Future Is Mine. As we mentioned above, Cuebrick has been busy playing every festival known to man over the last year. This is an impressive feat, as he only broke onto the EDM scene three years following some success in Germany’s dance scene. Since appearing on the scene, Cuebrick has been able to garner plenty of support from powerhouses such as Tiesto, Nicky Romero, and Armin Van Buuren.

Now how is the gift that Cuebrick brought us? His most recent collaboration, “United” is a track that tells the story of a community, no a nation divided, and how we need to be united in times of struggle. Music is a universal language, after all.  The track features moving vocals and soothing melodies, all over some soft chords that are even more complimented by the last-minute choir providing back up. The message is uplifting: “It is time to recognize that we share hopes, dreams, fears, and struggles…we are one.’

Be sure to listen to “United” below!

MUSIC ENHANCED: Cuebrick Ft. KARRA “Smoke & Fire”

At some moments the best kind of music can be created when a professional and fresh talent collaborate. Both members of the Enhanced Recordings label, we take a listen to the first collaboration between iconic Enhanced producer Cuebrick and Enhanced regular KARRA. This release is just another mark in their respective catalogs, as both artists have had a busy year so far. KARRA was featured on a number of successful hits in 2016 with Breathe Carolina, Metrik, and Unlike Pluto. Cuebrick hasn’t been quite though, as he has gained support from many EDM powerhouses such as Tiesto and Armin van Buuren.

However, “Smoke & Fire” is definitely a showcase of Cuebrick’s wide range of abilities. Featuring the vocal talents of performing artists KARRA, the track is intricate in design and flows between different levels with ease. As it flows you can hear the differences in genre and style, which only showcases Cuebrick’s raw ability to be able to take the best elements from multiple genres and mash them together. Whether it is as simple as the percussion or the intricacy of expert vocal work, Cuebrick can definitely make some magic.

Make sure you give “Smoke & Fire” a listen below:

Grown in Cali, LA-Based Producer APEK Releases New Track “Traces”

cover

While many people tend to agree that 2016 has been a rather unfortunate year (crappy if you will), but it hasn’t been nicer to our Cali-grown producer APEK. One of the core artists under the Enhanced Recordings label, APEK has had success with both his original tracks and remixes. What can be better than that? This has led to numerous collaborations with the likes of Cuebrick, Feenixpawl, and Breathe Carolina.

While still riding that wave of success, APEK has now released the newest track to add to his repertoire with “Traces”. The track features the beautiful and haunting vocals of KARRA, whose addition to “Traces” was the perfect move. While the track seems kind of everywhere at first, the melody and broken-beat style take your ears on a journey they so desperately needed.

Want to make your own assumption/opinion? Listen to the track for yourself here:
