WWE Battleground 2014 – SPOILER ALERT: Cena Retains!

Hello my friends and welcome to my review of the WWE’s Battleground PPV! Tonight’s advertised Main Events are Dean Ambrose vs. Seth Rollins, Bray Wyatt vs Chris Jericho, A 20 Man Battle Royal for the IC title and of course The Fatal Four Way match for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship between Champion, John Cena and his challengers Kane, Randy Orton and The Red Hot, Roman Reigns!

Battleground Kickoff Show!

Fandango vs. Adam Rose W/Summer Rae, Layla & The Exotic Express

This match was announce just hours before Battleground and Fandango made his way to the ring first, and I’m not going to lie, it feels strange seeing him come out alone! Out next are Adam Rose and his Exotic Express! Joining The Exotic Express tonight are Fandango’s exes Summer Rae and Layla! We have seen both Summer and Layla fight for Fandango’s attention and now their working together making his life HELL! A lot of people don’t like this storyline at all! I’m not going to say I’m in love with it, but I feel with more time this could have been better! Once the bell rings Fandango leaps at Rose and connects with a forearm in the turnbuckle. Fandango continued to control the match with a back suplex and a pin of two! Summer and Layla see Rose needs help so they begin to lead The Exotic Express around the ring to distract Fandango. Fandango despite trying to ignore them leaves the ring and asks both women what they are doing. Layla slaps him right across the face, and Summer soon follows! Once Fandango is back in the ring, it’s all Rose! Adam connects with many of his signatures such as the Spinebuster and The Cho Cho! Fandango stumbles forward and Adam Rose connects with a Party Foul to win the match!

Winner – Adam Rose

Grade – D, I’ve been moderately entertained by both Fandango’s girl problems and Adam Rose, but tonight, WWE didn’t even really give these two a chance. Most people are probably going to grade this lower, but I don’t feel it failed. Rose did manage to somewhat get over with the crowd in the short time and they did still tell the story that needed to be told. I have a feeling change is in Fandango’s future either that or he’ll end up in the same position Heath Slater and Damien Sandow find themselves in. On the other side, Adam Rose still remains undefeated, but who has he beaten? Even on NXT he hasn’t beaten any big names. I do feel if WWE invested the time into Adam Rose like they have for many other blossoming stars, than he could become a threat in the Mid Card division. Hell I’ve suggested to a good friend of mine before to actually team Rose and Fandango up. Have Rose invite Fandango out after seeing him so depressed and then go on from there. I could go on but I don’t want to waste the time!

Cameron vs. Naomi

The feud between these two has been brewing since the month before Money in the Bank! Cameron has grown in jealousy and feels Naomi thinks she is better than her. Things finally exploded between these two during a tag match against Aj Lee (c) and Paige, after Cameron tagged herself in just to get hit with The Paige Turner by Paige. After the match the two got in each other’s face until they began to roll around the ring to the outside of the ring. Cameron is out first, debuting a new theme and acting like a stereotypical popular girl. She makes her way to the ring making nasty faces at people, or checking herself out in a makeup mirror. Out next is Naomi and she isn’t wasting anytime as she makes her way to the ring and tried to get the jump on Cameron but the ref caught her. Once the bell rang, Naomi went right after Cameron, but she hid behind the ropes forcing the ref to pull her away, but Naomi was not going away without a fight, a decision she would soon regret as Cameron kicks her in the gut and begins to control the match after slamming Naomi face first into the canvas. Cameron continues to control the match with basic strikes and in all honestly a very impressive submissions hold that resembled a Bow and Arrow, but instead of her knee, she used her foot. Naomi did get back into the match and she took it to Cameron with some hammering strikes, but every chance Cameron got she fled, at one point she even began to walk out of the match itself, but Naomi chased after her and tossed her into the barricade. Surprisingly the fans did get into the match as the chanted Naomi’s name. Naomi tossed Cameron off the ropes, but Cameron counter with a simple kick to Naomi while she was bent over. Cameron took it upon herself to taunt Naomi before going to bounce off the rope, but Naomi grabbed a handful of hair. Naomi began to talk trash to Cameron, but Cameron tossed Naomi forward into the ropes, and it looked like the top rope caught her neck! Cameron rolls Naomi up with a School Girl and makes sure to grab a handful of tights to get her the victory!

Winner – Cameron

Grade – C, I feel like a lot more people are going to rate this lower than I did. I’m not going to say these two went out there and stole the show, but they certainly did not ruin the show! I honestly think Cameron shows promise. She definitely has her character down, and we all know she can be annoying! All she needs to do is get better in the ring. I don’t see her becoming the “Face” of WWE Divas Division, but I do think she can be a valuable addition! From what we saw tonight, Cameron is not as bad as we though. I’m not saying she’s great, I’m not even saying she’s good! All I’m saying is we have seen worse. You can say Naomi carried the match; it doesn’t matter because Cameron proved tonight, that she is able to wrestle! I do feel she needs more training, but she is learning and that’s what I take from it. As for Naomi it was probably the worst match I’ve seen her in, but that’s not a bad thing because she has been in some great matches! I don’t think this hurts Naomi, Cameron “clear as day” grabbed the tights! I don’t feel like this feud is over, but I honestly don’t think we’re going to see this at Summer Slam! Maybe inside a Diva Battle Royal, but that’s it! I take this as a positive sign in all honestly. The WWE Divas Division now has, Aj, Paige, Alicia Fox, Cameron, Naomi, Nikki Bella and Natalya! 5 out of those 7 all have some sort of character to them, Natalya is busy down in NXT it’s seems and Nikki is just Brie’s sister and John Cena’s Girlfriend really! Either way the point is the Divas Division is starting to look up!

WWE Tag Team Championships/Two out of Three Falls Match

The Usos |Jimmy (c) & Jey Uso (c) |vs. The Wyatt Family (Luke Harper & Eric Rowan)

We are starting off the night with the WWE Tag Team Championships! Out first are The Usos and next is The Wyatt Family. We’ve seen these two teams face off many times by now, but every time they fight, it’s always great! Tonight’s match is different though, you have to defeat your opponents a total of two times! The first team with two falls wins the match! I believe its Jimmy Uso starting off with Eric Rowan. Uso does not wait for Rowan to takes his Sheep Mask off, as he swings right away and punches the mask off him. All this does is anger Rowan who over powers Jimmy and backs him up into the turnbuckle where he proceeds to wail on him. Rowan beats down on Jimmy for a bit longer before tagging in Luke Harper. Harper went to bounce Jimmy off the rope, but The Uso counters and hits a beautiful enzguri, sending Harper outside of the ring, and soon Rowan, as Jimmy runs at him and dropkicks his legs to send him off as well. For a second it looked like The Usos were going to fly, but Harper had already moved himself and Rowan out of the way. Once Harper gets back into the ring, he rushes at Jimmy backing him into a turnbuckle and begins the beat down! Harper and Rowan begin to tag each other back into the match after they took turns beating down on Jimmy. Both Wyatts kept control over Jimmy with heavy strikes and keeping him locked in a headlock for long periods of time! Luke Harper had a headlock, locked in tight on Jimmy, but The Uso fought to his feet and managed to hit Harper with a Jawbreaker. Jimmy tried to tag in his partner, but Luke Harper was holding on to his foot! Jimmy managed to wiggle free of Harper’s grasp and tag in Jey who immediately took it to the top rope. Luke Harper ran at Jimmy, but The Uso lept over him and bounced off the rope and got hit with a huge boot from Luke Harper. Luke Harper covers Jey for the first fall of the match.

First Fall – The Wyatt Family

Once the second bell is rang, Harper ran at Jimmy Uso, (who was waiting in the turnbuckle) and connects with a hug splash, but it does not get him the win. He makes the tag to Rowan, and he continues to control the match, wearing Jimmy down with his signature vice lock, where he just takes his two fists and pushes them against the sides of your head, but Jimmy fought to his feet, and connected with elbows to the gut of Rowan to get him off. Jimmy went to lift Rowan up and slam him, but it seems he is too weak and Rowan just falls on top of him for a two count. He tags in Harper, and Harper just continues to the beat down. At one point it looked like Jimmy was back in it, as he began to trade blows with Harper, but Luke got the better of him in that exchange! It wasn’t until Harper went for a back suplex that Jimmy was able to counter into a back flip and land on his feet to make the tag to Jey. Harper ran at Jimmy, but Jimmy moved out of the way and Harper ran chest first into the turnbuckle. Jey quickly makes his way in and rolls Luke Harper up for the three, tying the score up 1-1!

Second Fall – The Usos

Before the ref can ring the third bell, Rowan raced in and he and Harper began to beat down on Jey, before the ref pushed them back and Rowan out of the ring. The third bell rings and Luke Harper runs at Jey and continues the beat down as he tags in Rowan and we see the two continue to do what they have for the entire match. They don’t let up on their opponent, continuing to beat down on him with physical strikes and then wear him down with long submission holds. Eric Rowan is in the ring and has Jey right in his turnbuckle. The Red Bearded man runs out Jey, but Jey moves out of the way and Eric Rowan, (who was looking for a shoulder thrust) goes shoulder first into the steel post. Harper tags himself in and goes into the opposite turnbuckle to Jey and runs at him, looking for a running bi boot, but once again Jey moves out of the way, and Harper goes flying over the ropes. Jey takes this time to catch his breath, and finally make a tag to his brother Jimmy! Jimmy comes firing in, and dives straight through the ropes to take out Luke Harper on the outside. Eric Rowan comes in, but Jimmy sends him over the ropes and back out before building momentum and flying over the ropes to take Rowan down. He tosses Harper back in the ring and hits him with a huge slam that only gives him a two. Jimmy surprised by the kick out, catches Harper off guard with a kick to the gut followed by an enzguri that sends Harper sitting down into the turnbuckle. Jimmy back up into the opposite turnbuckle from Harper and runs at him to slam his hop into the face of Harper. Jimmy runs back to the opposite turnbuckle again, but doesn’t see Harper behind him and pays for it when Harper splashes him into the turnbuckle. Luke Harper went to lift Jimmy Uso up for the Sit Down Power Bomb, but Jimmy slid out of it. The Uso attempts to hit Harper with a Samoan Drop, but can’t lift him! He does manage to stay in control, landing a super kick to the chin of Harper for a close two! Jimmy gets up and goes for another super kick, this time Harper catches his foot and sends him back into the turnbuckle before hitting a huge running big boot on him that sends The Uso out of the ring! Luke Harper has a strange look in his eye as he bounces off the rope and dives through the ropes, flatting Jimmy Uso! He tosses Jimmy back in the ring, and looks like he is going to hit him with the Sit Down Power Bomb, but he sees Jey Uso take down Eric Rowan on the outside. Luke Harper once again bounces off the ropes and he goes to dive through them again, but this time Jey Uso connects with a super kick. Jimmy rolls him up from behind and Luke Harper barley kicks out in time! Luke Harper gets up and finally hits The Sit Down Power Bomb, but Jimmy barley kicks out this time! Harper can’t believe it, and tags in Rowan, who climbs to the top of the turnbuckle and looked to hit Jimmy with his version of their splash, but The Uso moves out the way. Harper climbs to the top of the other turnbuckle, but Jimmy once again gets the better of him and pulls the leg and then leaps to his brother to make the tag. Jey climbs to the top rope and hits The Splash on Rowan, but only for a two count. Jey is in disbelief as no one has kicked out of The Splash yet. He goes to climb the turnbuckle once again, but Harper grabs his foot. Jey fights Harper off but now Rowan is up and the two begin to brawl at the top of the turnbuckle. Jimmy tags himself in, but Rowan quickly reverse smashing The Usos face first into each other before hitting them with a HUGE Double Superplex! Rowan covers Jimmy and somehow Jimmy kicks out just before three! Rowan tags in Harper and Harper just waits for Jimmy to get to his feet so he can hit him with the Discuss Clothesline. Once Jimmy got to his feet Harper went for the Clothesline, but Jimmy connecter with a super kicked that only stunned Harper for a moment, still connecting with the clothesline! Harper covers Jimmy but Jey barley breaks it up! Luke Harper just picks Jey up and tosses him out for the ring, but turns around to a super kick from Jimmy. Jey gets back in the ring and both Brothers hit stereo super kicks on Harper, and then onto Rowan who just go up on the apron. Both Jimmy and Jey climbed to the top of the same turnbuckle and hit Luke Harper with a Double Splash to retain their tag titles!

Winners & Still WWE Tag Team Champions – The Usos

Grade – A+, That match was fantastic! These four superstars went out there and outdid every match they have ever had together! That match could have legitimately ended at any one of the false ending and it still would have been considered a great match! I really thought they were going to strap The Wyatts here tonight, but The Usos just can’t be stopped! No matter what The Wyatts threw at Jimmy and Jey tonight, they kicked out of everything, except for the boot in the beginning of the match! I don’t think this one should continue. We have seen these two teams compete so much as of late, and I think we all need a break. The Wyatts still have Bray to lean on and will still be featured in his feud with Jericho witch I honestly believe will go on past tonight! The Usos now move onto another team, the only question is who? With Summer Slam coming up it wouldn’t make sense just to give Rybaxel as shot and it looked like Goldust and Stardust were next in line, but I don’t think WWE will do a Face vs. Face feud. The only team I can even think about is The Ascension on NXT. I guess we will just have to wait and see what is in store for both teams next!

Seth Rollins vs. Dean Ambrose

Before the match takes place, we are shown a beautifully put together video package for this feud. It shows an interview with all three members of The Shield and how Rollins spoke about how The Shield was a brotherhood and Ambrose said we are stronger together. Than we are shown Rollins betrayal of The Shield, him winning MitB and Ambrose chasing Rollins down wherever he goes and even preventing him from cashing in his briefcase! The video ends with Rollins curb stomping Ambrose’s face into the steel steps and standing tall saying “Seth Rollins is Best for Business!” Tom Phillips is backstage and ready to interview Mr. Money in the Bank, Seth Rollins before his match! Rollins talks about how Ambrose is like a filthy cockroach that won’t go away, he than answers Dean Ambrose’s question from Raw and says “No!” He said No, that is not all he has got and Ambrose should know the better than anyone. Rollins ends his interview by saying after he defeat Ambrose tonight he will be paying close attention to the Fatal Four way later tonight, before Dean Ambrose cuts him off and begins to beat him down around the arena. Many guards came to contain Ambrose, some I recognized like Jamie Noble, Joey Mercury and I think I saw Ricky Steamboat as well! Triple H comes in and tells them to get Ambrose out of here and tells them not to let him back in before screaming at Ambrose, “You’re Not Ruining This!” Triple H checks on Rollins, and apparently from what the commentators were saying is Ambrose has been kicked out of the arena and I guess the match is canceled?

WWE Divas Championship Match

Paige vs. Aj Lee (c)

Michael Cole informs us that he is being told to move on to the next match, which is for the WWE Divas Championship! The night after WrestleMania Paige upset Aj to win her first Divas Championship in an off the fly match! The night after Money in the Bank Aj returned and beat Paige to earn her second Divas championship in an off the fly match, and now all of a sudden their frenemies! Both women make their way to the ring and the match is under way. The two shake hands before it begins and we see Paige take the early advantage of the match as she just dominates Aj with stiff strikes, tossing her around the ring, around ringside, Paige dominated the majority of the early goings with Aj getting, little to no offense! Then things got strange, as Paige began to scream “Come on Aj!” and then I don’t know if it was them talking in the match, but I think we were supposed to hear it. I’m pretty sure I heard Paige ask Aj is she was ready before taking a spinning DDT and then I think I heard her tell the ref to let Aj get to her feet before her. It almost felt like Paige was letting Aj win, and then all of a sudden Aj locks in The Black Widow and it looks as if Aj is going to win, but Paige manages to break out of the submission hold and hit The Paige Turner on Aj for a two count! Paige screams one again “Come on Aj!” Paige locks in her submission hold witch she calls The PTO (Paige Tap Out…) AJ gets out of the hold before Paige can fully lock it in. She goes for a pin but Paige’s shoulder was up. Aj gets to her feet an runs at Paige to hit The Shining Wizard to retain the title.

Winner & Still Divas Champion – Aj Lee

Grade- C, I really thought this match was going to be a lot better than it was. I’m still rather fuzzy on weather Paige was helping Aj or not, but it doesn’t justify how sloppy things got. I’m not sure if it was Aj perhaps having a bit of ring rust or maybe the two just don’t mend well? But to anyone expecting a new Trish vs. Lita rivalry tonight was disappointed. At times this match shined, but not enough.

Backstage Segment W/Kane & Randy Orton

Orton is backstage looking for Kane, but when he finds him Kane informs him that he made mistake coming here! Orton admitted that he was wrong for attacking Kane and even says he’s sorry. Randy asks Kane if he is sorry for hitting him, and Kane responds by saying “Being The Devil’s Favorite Demon, I don’t say Sorry!” Orton goes on to make sure that Kane understands that they cannot let John Cena or Roman Reigns to walk out as World Champion. Kane goes on to assure Randy that the next World Champion is right here, but he doesn’t say if he is talking about Orton, himself or maybe Plan B?

Rusev W/Lana vs. Jack Swagger W/Zeb Colter

Rusev and Lana make their way to the ring first, and before Swagger and Colter come out Lana grabs a mic, but of course is interrupted by a USA Chant! Lana tells them to shut up, but doesn’t scream it for once, she goes on to talk about how our president is a sissy, and I can’t say I disagree! She talks about we push our “Democracy” onto everybody and we should be the ones getting scaled for our war in Iraq! Swagger and Colter finally make their way to the ring, and Colter grabs a mic once in the ring. Colter was about to tell Lana or as he called her “Natasha” to shut up, Lana slapped him right in the face, and Swagger and Rusev began to brawl, with Swagger getting the upper hand and clotheslining Rusev out of the ring. The crowd is behind The Real American tonight, and once Rusev is back in and the bell rings the match is underway and Swagger takes early control, dominated Rusev with quick strikes and always keeping Rusev on the edge, as he always needs to keep an eye out for The Patriot Lock! Rusev eventually got tired of Swagger attempting to lock it in, he went over to complain to Lana, but Swagger is not waiting as he goes after Rusev and repeatedly tosses him face first into the ring apron. Jack tossing him back into the ring and runs at Rusev once he is back in the ring and lands a splash, but Jack took his eye of Rusev for one moment and The Bulgarian Brute followed him to the ropes and hit a splash off his own and followed up with a fall away slam! Rusev finally gained control of this match keeping Swagger grounded for quite a while in a headlock, Jack Swagger used the WWE Universe to try and break out, but Rusev kept it locked in! Rusev continued to remain in control eventually tossing Swagger from the ring. Zeb kept cheering Jack on to get onto the apron, but every time Swagger got up, Rusev hit him down. Swagger eventually used the blows as motivation to keep going and eventually ducked one of Rusev’s punches and hitting a hangman on the ropes. Swagger gets back in the match hitting a running splash and following with a Big Boot the sets Rusev up for The Swagger Bomb, but Jack only gets a two count! Swagger continues to control Rusev, hitting a huge slam on him but one again only for a near fall! Rusev and Swagger began to go back and forth back Jack always stayed one step ahead of Rusev countering almost every move The Russian Hero threw at him, but Rusev caught Swagger off with one stiff kick to the chest as Swagger was entering the ring and things turned around for Rusev. Rusev waited for Swagger to get to his feet and went for The Super Kick but Swagger caught the foot and locked The Patriot Lock in on Rusev! Rusev struggled to get out of the move and when he was close to the ropes, Swagger pulled him away, but finally Rusev was able to grab the ropes and pull himself out of the ring while Swagger ignored the ref’s count and continued to keep The Patriot lock, locked in after the rope break! Rusev made it to his feet on the outside of the ring, but only for mere moments as Jack Swagger follows him out and drops a forearm to the ankle of Rusev! Jack Swagger once again locks in The Patriot Lock, this time on the outside of the ring. Rusev tries to fight out of the move, grabbing the steel steps and flipping forward sending Jack Swagger face first HARD into the steel post, knocking The Real American out! Rusev makes it back into the ring at the count of 9 and Swagger is counted out!

Winner by Count Out – Rusev

Grade – B+, After the match Zeb Colter and the doctors are checking on Swagger while Rusev celebrates in the ring. Lana gives Rusev the orders to crush, and Rusev goes outside to get Swagger, and back in the ring he locks in The Accolade on a knocked out Jack Swagger until Lana gives him the order to stop! From what I’ve hear this was supposed to be a quick feud for Rusev who was supposed to easily squash Swagger, but the WWE Universe reacted so well that WWE had no choice but to give it the proper time it deserved! Tonight Jack Swagger proved he can achieve the face status, I have never heard a crowd chant Swagger’s name before tonight, everybody in that arena was behind him and so was I! Rusev barley wins this one, but when you really look at it, did Rusev really beat Swagger tonight? I get that feeling we are going to see Swagger get his revenge on Rusev at Summer Slam, and maybe if a certain Hall of Famer who goes by the name of Hulk Hogan could be in his corner? It would be cool, but I’m not sure I want Swagger to be the first to beat Rusev, I fear that if you stop Rusev’s power to earlier that he is going to flop, and Is still feel it’s too early. I doubt Hogan could, but if he was able to get locked in the Accolade by Rusev, that would make him the biggest heel on the roster! I’m excited to see what’s next; because I’m positive it’s not over yet!

Goldust & Stardust Video

Stardust is being shown somewhere backstage. He seems to be talking to himself, sort of like that goblin from Lord of the Rings. He talks about seeing something but not being able to have it our touch it. Goldust goes in and whatever it is Stardust sees Goldust calls it The Cosmic Key! I can only assume the Cosmic Key is the Tag Team Championships. They both do their normal things (if that’s what you call normal I guess) to end the video.

Seth Rollins Segment

Seth Rollins makes his way to the ring, he grabs a mic but before he can talk the universe chants “You Sold Out!” Rollins proceeds to tell us that he wants to be announced as the winner of the match between him and Dean Ambrose that was supposed to take place earlier tonight. They do as he says and he makes his way to the back, but Dean Ambrose has made his way back into the arena and he brawls with Rollins through the crowd, around the announce table. It took security, a bunch of former wrestlers and even The COO Triple H himself to separate these two. Eventually Ambrose was taken away while The Game rose Rollins arm in victory!

Bray Wyatt W/The Wyatt Family vs. Chris Jericho

Wyatt and his family make their way to the ring first; Bray is sporting a shiner from his collision with Ric Flair’s Chop at a live event. For the first time I believe Wyatt is being booed by the Pro Jericho crowd! Next out is Chris Jericho who on his way down to the ring threw Wyatt’s chair back. Once the bell rings, Wyatt takes early control, throwing Jericho around and staying one step ahead of him. Jericho tried to fight back, but everything he did, Wyatt laughed at! And anytime Jericho tried to get something in Wyatt would counter with a huge elbow! Chris Jericho finally got Wyatt in the corner and begins to land some chops that seemed to have hurt Wyatt! Jericho wrestled Wyatt to the floor and went for a Walls of Jericho, but Eric Rowan distracts the ref, while Luke Harper distracts Jericho, allowing Wyatt to not only get to his feet, but hit a huge clothesline on Jericho! Bray continues to control the match until Jericho hits a dropkick that sends Wyatt to the apron, Jericho follows up with his signature Triangle Dropkick that sends Bray off the apron to the outside of the ring. Jericho than climbs to the top turnbuckle and does a diving cross body on the outside to take out the entire Wyatt Family. Jericho tosses Wyatt in and tries to get in himself, but Luke Harper grabbed on to his ankle, this led to the ref ejected both Harper and Rowan from ringside leaving it to just Wyatt and Jericho! Jericho still too distracted by the departure of the Wyatt Family, that he didn’t see Bray coming up from behind to hit him off the apron and send him right into a cameraman! Wyatt follows Jericho to the outside of the ring and continues the beat down out there before he tosses him back in the ring. Wyatt maintained control back inside tossing Jericho around and taking him out with knock out blows! Jericho tried to fight back and when Wyatt tosses him into a turnbuckle Jericho moved out of the way in time, and Wyatt went shoulder first into the steel post. Jericho than targeted that same shoulder with many shoulder tackles before taking him down with a diving axe handle! Wyatt is down and Jericho now takes control for a moment until Wyatt lift Jericho up and then slams his gut right down onto his knee! Wyatt goes for the running back splash, but Jericho got his knees up and then takes control yet again, fire at Wyatt with chops, and catching Wyatt off guard with an enzguri that takes Bray down. Jericho covers Bray but only for a two. Chris Jericho climbs to the top of the turnbuckle, but Wyatt is there to take him down. Bray maintains control over the match with Jericho getting little offense in. The Eater of Worlds strikes Jericho with many stiff strikes and throwing his weight around as well. Jericho did fight back getting a brief moment where he turned things around, even hitting his signature bulldog , but as he went for the lionsault Wyatt got his knees up and Jericho fell right into them. The ref starts to count as both superstars are down, around the count of 5 Bray forced himself up into The Spider Walk position to get up. He ran at Jericho when he caught up, but Jericho countered and Bray hit his head on the bottom turnbuckle. Jericho drags Bray away for a 1 count the as broken up because of a rope break. Jericho takes control of the match, but Wyatt countered early and went for Sister Abagail, Jericho countered and attempted to lock in The Walls of Jericho, but Wyatt kicked him off and ducked Jericho’s clothesline and followed up with a huge forearm! Wyatt covers Jericho but only for a 2. Wyatt wanders around the ring, thinking about his next move and as he turns around Jericho, out of nowhere, hits a Codebreaker and covers Wyatt for the three!

Winner – Chris Jericho

Grade – B+, I feel many people are going to rate this match higher just because Jericho was in, but I’m not going to lie, it wasn’t as good as I hoped! It wasn’t a bad match at all! But I was expecting this to be on the same level as The Usos vs. The Wyatts earlier, but it wasn’t to be, but like I said it was still a great match. Wyatt seemed different here tonight, and no it wasn’t just is black eye! He seemed more focused and aggressive towards Jericho. Yea, he did laugh at some points and still did his spider crawl, but it just felt like a different Wyatt to me. I feel like there is more to this story, and I’m sure we will hear the rest of it the following weeks to come. I can’t imagine Jericho and Wyatt to be done with each other yet!

Seth Rollins Segment

Rollins is seen with security walking out of the arena into the parking lot. Rollins tell the security he doesn’t need them, and they leave. Rollins continues to walk to his car, but I guess he heard something and began to look around. Ambrose came out of the trunk of Rollins car and went to hit him with a steel pipe. Rollins ducked and ran from Ambrose, but Dean caught up to him and the two battled on top of the car until the both fell of an opposite sides. Rollins quickly got in his car and drove off. My only question here is why was Seth Rollins leaving? What happened to Plan B!?

20 Man Battle Royal for the Intercontinental Championship

Big E vs. Alberto Del Rio vs. Cesaro vs. R-Truth vs. Ryback vs. Curtis Axel vs. Zack Ryder vs. Titus O’Neil vs. Damien Sandow vs. Heath Slater vs. Diego vs. Sin Cara vs. Xavier Woods vs. The Great Khali vs. Kofi Kingston vs. Bo Dallas vs. Dolph Ziggler vs. The Miz vs. United States Champion, Sheamus

Before the match begins the former champion, Bad News Barrett comes out and informs everyone in the ring they all have the honor of becoming the new Intercontinental Champion, but who also informs the of some Bad News and states their demise will come from a Bull Hammer courtesy from him! The match begins and everybody goes after Khali immediately, The Punjabi Playboy tosses them all aside and then delivers chops to everyone in sight. Khali grabs Xavier Woods and tosses him out of the ring.

Xavier Woods eliminated.

And then Khali did the same to Zack Ryder.

Zack Ryder eliminated.

Titus O’ Neil runs at Khali and hits him with a splash; he gets a couple of shots in before moving out of the way of an Incoming Brogue Kick from the U.S Champ Sheamus! Sheamus connects with Khali and everyone once again works together to eliminate The Great Khali.

The Great Khali eliminated.

Cesaro is close to eliminate Ziggler while everyone else continues to brawl. Bo Dallas tosses Sin Cara over the rope, an went to eliminate him but Sin Cara caught him off guard with a stiff kick, meanwhile Ryback has taken over for Cesaro, and now he is trying to eliminate Ziggler. Sin Cara tries to leap over the rope to get back in but Bo Dallas is right there to push him back out.

Sin Cara eliminated.

Superstars all continue to brawl Cesaro once again tried to eliminate Ziggler, while Diego came really close to eliminated Heath Slater, I also think I saw in the background Big E try and eliminate Bo Dallas, but it wasn’t until Ziggler went over the ropes and barley hung on that things began to get more exciting, as not only did Ziggler barley hang on but I also saw The Miz trying to stay out of sight as he waited on the outside of the ring. Meanwhile Curtis Axel just tossed R-Truth over the ropes and onto the floor!

R-Truth eliminated.

And shortly after R-Truth’s elimination, Curtis Axel was tosses over by his own tag team partner, Ryback!

Curtis Axel eliminated.

Axel was obviously upset that his partner threw him over; Ryback just kind of shrugged it off. Over in one of the corners Alberto Del Rio and The U.S Champ are going at it, while Diego battles Damien Sandow and eventually eliminates him!

Damien Sandow eliminated.

Ryback tries to sneak behind Diego and toss him over, but Diego manages to avoid elimination and now tries to eliminate The Big Guy. After taking a couple of chops Ryback lifts Diego up and tosses him out of the ring.

Diego eliminated.

Ryback and Sheamus proceeded to beat down on everyone in the ring until they were the last two standing, the two brutes began to battle back and forth and Ryback almost eliminated The U.S Champ as he lifted him onto his shoulders into the power bomb position, but Sheamus slid out and connected with a Brogue Kick that sent Ryback out of the ring.

Ryback eliminated.

The Miz avoided being seen again, as he slid into the ring and tried to eliminate Sheamus from behind, but The Celtic Warrior fought him off, and Ziggler came up from behind to hit a Zig Zag on Miz. Miz rolled out of the ring and everyone continued to brawl. Titus O’ Neil got to show off as he lifted Sheamus up and hit him with a rib breaker twice, before tossing the U.S Champ aside. O’Neil decided to take a second to taunt and do his signature bark, a second Bo Dallas took advantage of as he ran up behind and hit O’Neil with a running knee to send him out of the ring!

Titus O’Neil eliminated.

Bo Dallas took time to celebrate around the ring, a celebration that was ended by Cesaro. Cesaro than began to brawl with Kofi Kingston. Cesaro was in a dangerous are on the outside apron when he ducked a Trouble in Paradise from Kofi. Cesaro than went to toss Kofi over the ropes, but Kofi hung on by Cesaro’s legs, until Cesaro pulled himself and Kofi in. Cesaro than stood up and took a drop kick from Kingston. Del Rio hits a nice back breaker on Ziggler, as Big E, Sheamus and one other superstar gang up on Heath Slater. Del Rio is on the outside apron and is trying to battle Ziggler off and is doing a great job at it, until Ziggler hits his signature DDT on Del Rio that bounces him off the ropes and out of the ring.

Alberto Del Rio eliminated.

Miz once again sneaks in and tries to toss Ziggler out, but Dolph hangs on and Sheamus lifts Miz up onto his shoulder, but Miz slides down and gets hit with a huge tackle from Big E that sends Miz through the second rope and not eliminating him. Cesaro and Big E now battle trying to eliminate each other, Cesaro ended up getting the upper hand when he hit a belly to belly near the ropes, tossing Big E out!

Big E eliminated.

Kofi Kingston ran at Cesaro tossed Kofi over the ropes, but Kingston hung on. Cesaro swung at Kingston, and Kofi lept off and his buddy Big E was there to catch him, saving Kofi from elimination. Kofi tried to pull Cesaro out, while on the shoulders of Big E, but Cesaro battled out and kicked Big E in the face before suplexing Kingston back in the ring. Kofi ran out Cesaro, but The Swiss Superman put his boot up and Kofi ran right into it.  Cesaro now back in the ring tries to eliminate Kingston, but Kofi hooks his feet under Cesaro arms and tries to pull him out, Cesaro pulls Kofi back up and thumps his eye before finally eliminating him!

Kofi Kingston eliminated.

Cesaro screams out at Kingston, and Heath Slater comes from behind and tosses Cesaro out of the ring.

Cesaro eliminated.

Sheamus tosses Slater over the ropes, but The One Man Band hangs on and fights Sheamus off. Heath tries to get back into the ring, but Sheamus hit The Brogue Kick and sends Slater out!

Heath Slater eliminated.

Bo Dallas tosses Sheamus over from behind, but doesn’t eliminate him. Sheamus fights back into the ring and goes after Dallas, tossing him over the ropes and hit the 7 beats. Dolph Ziggler tries to dropkick Sheamus from behind, but The U.S Champ moves and Ziggler connects with Bo and sends him out of the ring.

Bo Dallas eliminated.

The only two superstars left in the ring are Dolph Ziggler and The U.S Champion Sheamus. These two went back in forth, Dolph attempted a fame-asser that was botched, but he beautifully recovers into a new move. Sheamus fired back with heavy blows, and The Celtic Warrior almost eliminated Ziggler when he tossed him over but Ziggler would not stay down. Sheamus went for a Brogue Kick again, but Ziggler pulled the rope and Sheamus went over the ropes, but gets hung up. Sheamus gets off the ropes, but Ziggler is there and hits him with a dropkick and Sheamus pulls a Shawn Michaels moment as only one of his feet touched the floor. Sheamus goes for the battering ram, but Ziggler lands a super kick on Sheamus and The U.S Champ falls backwards to the ground.

Sheamus eliminated.

Ziggler begins to celebrate, but The Miz comes in (who was on the outside of the ring the whole time) and tosses Ziggler over to win the battle royal!

Winner & New Intercontinental Champion – The Miz

Grade – B+, This battle royal was heavily hyped, and there were quite a few favorites to win, and we got so many highlights from it. Seeing The Miz waiting on the outside didn’t guarantee his victory, but it made it more likely. It honestly makes sense to give the title to The Miz, who has been doing well with his new character now WWE could either choose to do a Unification match between The Miz and Sheamus at Summer Slam or maybe Miz defends against Ziggler, the man he cheated out of a victory tonight. Either way I hope Miz’s reign keeps the prestige of The IC title going!

WWE World Heavyweight Championship/Fatal Four Way Match

Randy Orton vs. Roman Reigns vs. Kane. John Cena (c)

A video package is shown going to events that led up to this match, We saw the announcement of it, how much Orton and Kane trust each other and of course the rise of Roman Reigns! All four superstars make their way to the ring and Justin Roberts does the introductions and this match us underway! Cena and Orton go to the outside were Orton makes easy work of Cena and tosses him into the steel steps, while Roman Reigns is beating down on Kane in the turnbuckle until Randy Orton comes in and pulls Reigns away. Roman begins to take the fight to Orton and it doesn’t take long for Orton and Kane to begin to work together on Reigns. Cena tried to get back into the ring at one point, but Kane just knocked him right off the apron, but providing enough of a distracting of Roman Reigns to climb to the top turnbuckle and jump off to connect flying clotheslines on both Kane and Orton. Roman started to battle The Devils Favorite Demon, but once again The double team comes into play and Orton covers Roman as Kane watches over to make sure Cena doesn’t come in. Reigns kicks out early and now Cena is in the ring, but it doesn’t take long for the team of Orton and Kane to take down the champion. Orton and Kane focus on Cena before Kane goes out of the ring to take of Roman, meanwhile back in the ring Cena is now taking it to Orton and Kane comes in and makes the save. We see this happen a lot for next couple of minutes with Orton and Kane beating up on Cena and whenever Reigns came in Kane kicked him out, but whenever Kane left Orton needed help! Finally Reigns got rid of Kane on the outside and Cena began to take it to Orton until Orton was tossed out of the ring, leaving just Roman Reigns and The WWE World Heavyweight Champion John Cena alone, and the stare down begins, but is interrupted to soon as Kane and Orton come in again to take down the two. Orton battled Cena on the outside while Kane covered Reigns inside but only for a two. Orton to notice and began to question why Kane would cover for the win, when he is supposed to make sure he won! The two eventually had it out when Kane had enough of Orton and the two began to brawl. Kane perched Orton on top of the turnbuckle and it looked like he was going to go for a Superplex but instead Cena and Reigns grabs Kane’s leg and hit both Kane and Orton with a Super Power Bomb! For the second time Roman Reigns and John Cena have a stare down, just to get interrupted by Kane sitting up. The two superstars beat down on Kane while Orton sneaks in a takes out Reigns with a back breaker, and then takes Cena out. Orton goes to cover Roman, but Kane comes in and breaks up the pin and begins to battle with Orton again, before Cena hits him with an Attitude Adjustment. Orton and Cena begin to battle, Orton went for his signature backbreaker, but Cena countered into an STF and tried to get Orton to tap out, and just when Orton was about to tap, Roman Reigns caught his arm and pulled Orton out of the ring and then tossed him over the announce table. Reigns got in the ring and the third stare down from Reigns and Cena but this time they begin to brawl! Roman gets the advantage and is looking to hit The Superman Punch, but Cena avoided and hit Reigns with a side slam but only for two. Once back to their feet Reigns ducks a clothesline from Cena and connects with The Superman Punch that sets Cena up for The Spear. Reigns waits for Cena to get to his feet before running at him and connecting with The Spear. Roman Reigns covers Cena and Kane barley saves the match. Reigns begins to brawl with Kane in the corner and connected with The Superman Punch onto Kane, and Kane falls onto the ropes. Reigns leaves the ring and dropkicks Cena while running around the ring, next on his list was Randy Orton who was on the announce table and last was The Devil’s Favorite Demon! Roman takes at Orton and spears him through the barricade! Roman Reigns makes his way back in the ring and connects with The Spear on Kane and covers him for the win, but Cena breaks it up! Cena covers Kane, but Reigns breaks it up. Reigns tries to toss Cena out, but John Cena counters Roman Reigns and tosses him out of the ring before hitting Kane with The Attitude Adjustment, Cena covers Kane, but Reigns breaks it up and then covers Kane, but Cena breaks it up and then hits Reigns with The Attitude Adjustment for the win, but Kane breaks it up this time, and covers Reigns until Cena breaks it up. Roman Reigns is back up and connects with a Spear to Kane and covers him to win, but Orton breaks up the pin and hits Reigns with an RKO, but before he can pin someone Cena lifts Orton onto his shoulders and hits The Attitude Adjustment to Orton onto Kane. Cena covers Kane for the win!

Winner & Still WWE World Heavyweight Champion – John Cena

Grade, A-, I think most of us already knew that Cena was walking away as champ tonight, since it was practically leaked that he would defend his title against Brock Lesnar at Summer Slam, but WWE did a good job at getting everyone else to pay attention to something, or should I say someone else. Everybody was watching Roman Reigns tonight, to see if he can hang with the big dogs, and I’ll say he did good, but a Fatal Four Way is still able to hide the things he is not good at, which is great, but Reigns still hasn’t proven If he can go in a long singles match where its only him and his opponent. We already know Cena will probably face Lesnar. There has been rumors flying around of Reigns vs. Triple H, but I think that’s a match more worthy of WrestleMania! I would prefer to see Orton take on Reigns, but maybe there is something between him and Kane. I don’t know what’s going to happen next, all I know is big things are in store for Roman Reigns!

Superstars of the Night – The Usos

I found tonight Superstar of night rather hard. Roman Reigns did good, but not amazing, Jericho did win, but it an alright match and it’s not like received much of a reaction after he won and sadly Dean Ambrose did not get to compete, but that opening match between The Usos and The Wyatts was amazing! A Match of the Year nominee if you ask me! What really shocked me is The Usos coming away with the win, I would of bet money that The Wyatts walked out as champ, I’m glad I didn’t! Uso sent a message out to every team tonight. You want some come get some!

Our first one is for the Money in the Bank Ladder Match! Seth Rollins, Dean Ambrose, Dolph Ziggler, Kofi Kingston, Jack Swagger, RVD & Originally our Intercontinental Champion, Bad News Barrett but due to a shoulder injury he suffered on Smackdown. John Cena, Roman Reigns, Alberto Del Rio, Kane, Randy Orton, Bray Wyatt, Cesaro and the WWE United States Champion, Sheamus!

WWE Tag Team Championship!

The Usos (c) |Jimmy & Jey Uso| vs. The Wyatt Family (Luke Harper & Eric Rowan)

Usos are out first and out next is The Wyatt Family to a new theme song! Originally we heard a young child singing “He’s Got The Whole World and than went into some generic rock music. Luke Harper and I believe Jey Uso started the match up, and The Usos took early control with strikes and kicks and an early tag made to Jimmy Uso. Once Jimmy got it the control quickly turned to the Wyatt’s as Harper landing some powerful moves and tags in Rowan. Eric Rowan continues the beatdown on Jimmy, and making frequent tags to each other. Once Rowan was tagged back in he attempting a fall away slam, Jey managed to get out of it and fall back into his corner where Jey takes a tag. We see some nice teamwork by The Usos that earn them a two count as both Jimmy and Rowan continued to brawl until the both eventually found their way to the outside of the ring, where Jey Uso jumped onto the barricade separating the crowd from the action and lept off it, landing a flying forearm onto Rowan. The two find themselves back in the ring, where Jey is perched on the top rope and leaps onto Rowan for a cross body that only brings him a two! Jey once again attempted to use the top turnbuckle to fly off of, but Luke Harper had a different idea as he walked over and tried to stop Jey but only got a punched for it, but the distraction proved to be enough, because once Jey got onto the top turnbuckle Rowan came up from behind and pushed him off sending The Uso face first into the barricade on the outside of the ring. Harper gets the tag and he jumps off the apron and rushes at Jey, stomping on his face on the outside of the ring. Harper tosses Jey back in the ring for a near fall count and continues the beatdown. The Wyatt Family hold control for quite a long time, wearing Jey out with numerous slams and heavy strikes. It seemed like Jey was about to tag in Jimmy after countering one of Eric Rowan’s move, but Rowan made the tag to Harper and Luke Harper ran over to The Uso corner to take Jimmy out before he could make the tag. Harper runs at Jey Uso, landing a big boot that was only good for a two before making the tag back to Rowan. Eric Rowan came in out and hit a huge scoop slam on Jey, but a miss splash aloud Jey to get up to his feet and into the turnbuckle, Rowan ran at him full force but Jey moved out of the way and Rowan’s shoulder went right into the steel post. Both Eric Rowan and Jey Uso make the tags to their partners. Jimmy Uso comes rushing in taking it to both members of The Wyatt Family, hitting them with Samoan drops and ramming his rear end right into a downed Rowan and following up with a beautiful corkscrew moonsault on Harper that only gets him a two. Jimmy continues to control the match, taking Rowan out of the ring and hitting a couple super kicks to Harper that once again only give him a two count. On the outside of the ring Eric Rowan as Jey Uso, Jimmy though leaps over the ropes onto Rowan to save his brother, but it may have cost him as The Wyatt’s once again control the champs. We see the two teams exchange some blows, but The Wyatt’s still end up with the upper hand. Rowan held Jey Uso still on the outside while Luke Harper jumped through the ropes at him, Jimmy Uso looked to do the same thing as he leaped over the ropes hoping to catch Rowan off guard, but Eric Rowan caught him in mid air and held him still, just like he did to Jey so Harper can fly through the ropes and land on him and than tossing him back into the ring. Both members of The Wyatt Family lifted Jimmy up by his arm and slamming him back into the canvas, but Jey broke up the pin before the thee count. Jey took Harper out of the ring, and Rowan took Jey out. Rowan saw Jimmy laying in the middle of the ring and went to climb up the to the top turnbuckle, but Jimmy got up and shook the ropes to force him to slip. Tag was made and both The Usos climbed to the top and hit Eric Rowan with a superplex! Jimmy tagged back in a climbed to the top rope. Before jumped of the top, Jey tagged himself in and The Usos landed back to back Superfly Splashes to retain the championship!

Winners & Still WWE Tag Team Champions – The Usos

Grade – B+, What a match to start off the night. We have seen The Wyatt’s and The Usos clash before, but never over the tag belts! Tonight both teams went out there and continued to show that the WWE Tag Tea, Titles still mean something. The Usos faced their toughest test to date as champions and they prevailed in what was a great match. I doubt this is the last time we’ll see these two teams battling over those titles!

Dean Ambrose Promo

Micheal Cole talks about what has happened to The Shield in the past weeks. We see a recap of what happened from when Rollins betrayed The Shield to just last week on Raw. Dean Ambrose is shown backstage and he talked about his match tonight and of course Seth Rollins. He kept talking about how it would be hard to choose to use the ladder to get  the briefcase or to bash Rollins face than, but after thinking about it, he said “Why not” He ended the promo saying that he was going win and that daddy (Triple H) won’t be to happy.

WWE Divas Championship

Paige (c) vs. Naomi W/Cameron

Naomi is out first, and despite the differences between the two it seems Cameron will accompany her to the ring. Out next is the Divas Champion, and once the introductions are done, were on our way. The two divas started off very even as the tried to gain control over each other. They tossed each other into the barricade and the side of the ring and eventually got back into the ring after the ref reached a 7 count. The two divas continued to be on even footing until Paige hit a unique maneuver that looked like a form of the head scissors. Once again Naomi leaves the ring, and Paige began to go after her but Naomi grabbed her on tossed her off the apron to the outside of the ring, she than got back into the ring and jumped over the ropes to land a flying crossbody onto The Divas Champion on the outside of the ring! Naomi is back in the ring and Paige does not get into the ring until the ref reaches a seven count. Back inside the ring, The Divas Champ and her challenger are battling back and forth while on the outside, Naomi’s tag team partner, Cameron does not seem to entertained by the match. Naomi and Paige begin to trade pins back and forth that eventually led to Naomi locking Paige in a submission hold of quite a long time. Once Paige is out of the hold Naomi went to the top rope, but Paige was close behind and she kicked Naomi’s foot forcing her to lose her balance. The Divas Champion climbed to the top with Naomi and it looked like she was going to superplex her but instead both the divas fell to the outside of the ring. Both divas did not get back into the ring until an eight count. Once back in the ring, Naomi and Paige go back in forth.Naomi takes back control of the match landing a Rear View on Paige for only a two. She went to follow up with a split legged moonsault, but Paige got her knees up. Paige  locked Naomi in an interesting submission hold, that honestly didn’t look like it hurt that much. Paige turned the submission hold into a pin for only two. During the hold Cameron seemed to be rooting for Paige. At the end of the match Paige lifted Naomi up and planted her down with a beautiful version of the DDT!

Winner and still WWE Divas Champion – Paige

Grade – B+, That was a Divas Match. Ever since Paige has won the championship she hasn’t been used to her full potential, but finally the WWE let the Divas work and this is what we get. Naomi and Paige fought over the Divas Championship and made it feel more prestigious than it has since its debut. If WWE allows the Divas to put on matches like this, the Diva division will no longer be a joke! I hope to see these two clash over the title again, and I have a feeling Cameron will find her way into a Divas title match Even though he is not a great wrestler, a Triple Threat Match may be able to hide it. Either way I want more Diva matches like tonight!

Damien Sandow vs. Adam Rose W/The Exotic Express

Damien Sandow comes down to the ring dressed as Paul Revere. He calls The Rosebuds and The crowd tonight a bunch of halfwits and informs the crowd that if he knew the Boston was going to be inhabited by you people, I would of warned no one! He ends his mic time by stating Boston will always be in the shadow of New York! Adam Rose and The Exotic Express make their way to the ring and Rose tells Sandow not to be a party pooper and claims that Boston is the place to party. He than tells Sandow to not be a lemon, Sandow swung at him and Rose fell into The Exotic Express and they propelled him back onto the apron and Rose ends it by telling Sandow to be a Rosebud before jamming his shoulder into his gut and tossing him over the ropes and down to the outside of the ring. Once Sandow is back in the ring the match officially begins and Rose starts off with his usual antics like smacking the rear end of Sandow, and using the ropes to smash Sandow face first into his.. but Damien was not having it tonight. Sandow really took it to Rose through out the match and even countered Rose’s “Cho Cho” with a huge clothesline. Sandow lifted Rose up and planted him with a Full Nelson Slam and covered him for a two. Sandow went for a moonsault, but Rose moved out of the way and hit The Part Foul to pick up the win.

Winner – Adam Rose

Grade – B, If you thought this was going to be another job for Damien Sandow, you were wrong. Despite still performing under these stupid characters, Damien shined tonight as he gave Rose his toughest challenge yet, but it wasn’t enough for him tonight as Adam Rose and his Exotic Express rolled through him tonight, but not without a challenge!

Money in the Bank Ladder Match.

Seth Rollins vs. RVD vs. Jack Swagger W/ Zeb Colter vs. Dolph Ziggler vs. Kofi Kingston vs. Dean Ambrose.

As I mentioned before, The WWE Intercontinental Champion will not be in the match due to suffering a shoulder injury this past Friday Night Smackdown. It’s really a shame, because he was one of the heavy favorites to win and he was also my choice. Seth Rollins was the first superstar to make his entrance and Dean Ambrose was the last, and Ambrose did not wait for the bell to ring, as he rushed into the ring and went right after his former Shield Mate! Ambrose and Rollins brawl to the outside of the ring, while back in the ring Kofi clears the ring quick, just leaving him and Rob Van Dam. Kingston battles RVD until Swagger makes his way into the ring with a ladder. Kofi dropkicks the ladder into Swagger’s face and than lands a stiff kick to the side of the skull the laid Swagger onto the ladder and set him up for The Boom Drop. After using the ladder to clear Swagger from the ring Kofi set it up and began to climb, but Dean Ambrose comes back in and pushes the ladder over, and Kofi uses the ropes to springboard himself into RVD,Swagger and Ziggler on the outside of the ring! Back in the ring, Ambrose sets up the ladder and begins to climb, but Seth Rollins pulls him down and the two took turns pulling and climbing the ladder, until Dean had enough and smashed Rollins face first into the ladder. Dean Ambrose set another ladder up into the turnbuckle and attempted to suplex Rollins onto int, but Seth blocked and once again the two took turns trying to suplex each other onto the ladder, until Ambrose hooked Rollins arms and tossed him into the ladder. Ambrose once again alone in the ring sets up the ladder and begins to climb, but Jack Swagger gets in and pulls him down. Both Ambrose and Swagger take turns climbing the ladder and than everyone showed up besides RVD and Rollins. Swagger and Ambrose were on the outside of the ring while Kofi and Dolph battled at the top of the ladder of the briefcase. Swagger briefly came in and attempted to tip the ladder over, but Kofi pushed him off and Ambrose clotheslined him over the ropes while Kofi and Ziggler did the same to Ambrose. The two both raced back up the ladder and began to fight at the top once again and did not drop off the ladder until the each grabbed a handful of hair and pulled each other down. The two brawled while Seth Rollins tossed a ladder between the one set up in the ring, to connect with both Ziggler and Kingston. Van Dam comes in a drop kicks the ladder into Rollins and begins to hit a variety of his signature moves such as the Monkey Flip and used to ladder to his advantage to hit a Rolling Thunder! RVD continued to dominated as he took care of Dean Ambrose, Dolph Ziggler and Jack Swagger and earned himself a “You Still Got It” Chant for the Boston Crowd. RVD begins to climb the ladder and gets very close to the briefcase, but Kofi is there to make sure he does not grab it, as is Swagger. Kofi and RVD work together for a few seconds as they both toss the ladder right into Swagger, and Kofi quickly runs at RVD afterwards and kicks him right in the gut. RVD and Kofi battle each other in the turnbuckle. It looked like Kofi was going to hit RVD with a superplex, but Jack Swagger ran in and rammed a ladder into the lower back of Kofi Kingston. Swagger than set up a huge ladder in the corner and began to climb it to the top and pull RVD up. Swagger looked like he was going to hit a suplex off of this huge ladder, but RVD fought him off and sent him flying off the ladder and down to the canvas! RVD poised to hit Swagger with a Five Star Frog Splash from the top of the ladder, but Seth Rollins climbed up and began to fight with RVD, while Swagger ran up from behind and power bombed RVD off that ladder. Swagger looked like he was going to go after Rollins, but Ambrose rushed in and smashed Jack’s face against the ladder and than climbed to the top and began to brawl with Rollins before suplexing him off the top of that ladder, taking a huge fall himself! Ambrose back up with a ladder, but not for to long as Ziggler dropkicks the ladder into him. Ziggler went to drop kick Swagger, but Jack caught him and sling shot Ziggler into the ladder leaning on the ropes with Dean Ambrose behind it. Kofi is in but its not long before Swagger slams Kofi down and than plants a ladder on him to hit The Swagger Splash. Jack Swagger now along in the ring begins to climb the ladder, but RVD is back in, and the two begin to climb before Dean Ambrose and Seth Rollins come in and pull them down and take them out of the ring. Both Ambrose and Rollins climb the ladder and begin to brawl at the top. Ambrose begins to swing and hit Rollins with everything he has got until Rollins falls off the ladder. Ambrose begins to climb the ladder, but once again jack Swagger is there and pulls Ambrose down, Dean manages to reverse the move into his DDT, but it seem like he hurt himself on the fall down. Rollins begins to climb the ladder and Dean tries to push it down, but couldn’t because of his shoulder, but eventually just rams into the ladder to make sure Rollins doesn’t win. The Doctors begin to check on Ambrose and after arguing with them Dean heads to the back to get checked on. Meanwhile back in the ring Seth Rollins begins to climb the ladder and almost wins it, but RVD prevents him and the two brawl at the top. While that happens Kofi Kingston slides a ladder between the rungs of the one Rollins and RVD are fighting. Kofi climbs up and all three brawl until RVD get hung up on the ladder before falling down. Kofi and Rollins fight at the tops and Kofi tosses Rollins over his shoulder and down onto the ladder Kofi bridged in! Kofi reaches for the briefcase and almost gets it but Ziggler pulls him down. Ziggler and Kofi go back and forth but Kofi gains the advantage and begins to clear the ring of his competitors hitting a fame-asser on RVD, super kicking a ladder into Swagger’s Jaw and Zig Zagging Kofi Kingston into a ladder. Dolph began to climb the ladder but Jack Swagger locks a Patriot Lock in on Ziggler, Ziggler fights through the pain and pulls himself up the ladder using on his arms until he pushed Swagger off. Ziggler almost pulls the briefcase down, but Seth Rollins smashes a chair right on the ankle of Ziggler, sending him off the ladder. Seth began to climb, and it looked like he had it won, but Dean Ambrose rushed back to the ring and began to beat down on Rollins with the steel chair, before he climbed up the ladder. Ambrose had the match one, but Kane’s music played and he made his way to the ring. Dean Ambrose tried to fight off Kane, but eventually The Big Red Monster planted Ambrose with a Chokeslam and a Tombstone Piledriver, before holding the ladder still, so Seth Rollins can pull down the briefcase.

Winner & Mr. Money in the Bank – Seth Rollins

Grade – A+, What a match. You know earlier this week a good friend of mine, said he was worried for this match because the talent in it (besides Barrett, Ambrose and Rollins) are kind used a enhancement talent as of late, but tonight everyone had a chance to shine. The feud between Ambrose and Rollins was played beautifully here, and I’ll admit being a big Ambrose fan I marked out when he almost won and than felt my heart shattered when I heard Kane’s music. Rollins said it best in his interview “Plan A, I win or there is Plan B. I win!” Tonight The Authority got what they wanted and The man who broke The Shield is now Mr. Money in The Bank!

Backstage Interview W/ Randy Orton

Byron Saxton is backstage with Randy Orton. Orton talks about how his chances are great tonight and mentions how Rollins needed help to win his match, but he won’t need any help tonight and weather anyone likes it or not he is walking out WWE World Heavyweight Champion tonight. When asked about Roman Reigns, Orton gave Saxton an uncomfortable stare before Byron thanks Orton for his time.

Rybaxel (Ryback & Curtis Axel) vs. Goldust & Stardust

Rybaxel is out first and it seems Curtis Axel has changed his ring gear from Underwear to a singlet just like Ryback. Out next is the team of Goldust and Stardust. The match starts off with Stardust and Axel. Stardust took early control over Axel staying one step ahead of him and hitting him with many strikes. Stardust cartwheels over and lands a dropkick onto Axel. He makes the tag to Goldust and the two show off their team work, as Stardust leaps off of Goldust’s back to hit a forearm on a running Curtis Axel. Goldust continues to dominate Axel and tags Stardust back in, but Axel pulls his arm away and tags in The Big Guy! Stardust poses to the crowd as Ryback gets in and the two stare each other down. Stardust manages to stay one step ahead of Ryback, avoiding every one of his moves and taking him down with a forearm. Stardust tags in Goldust, but after Ryback lands a boot to the gut of Goldust, he began to dominate. Rybaxel dominated over Goldust frequently tagging each other in and wearing Goldust down with power moves like the suplex and submission moves like the headlock. Goldust tried to fight back many times, but Rybaxel continued their dominance. Ryback began to measure Goldust up for the Big Meat Hook Clothesline. He screamed “I Still Got It” to the WWE Universe before running at Goldust. Goldust got his elbow up catching Ryback off guard and he rolled over to tag in Stardust. Stardust leaps over Ryback and avoids his clothesline taking Ryback down with a forearm and even taking Axel down as well over on the apron. Stardust continued to control the match, almost picking up the victory! Stardust was looking to hit Cross Rhodes but Ryback reversed and lifted Stardust up on his shoulder and looked to hit Shell Shock, but Stardust dropped down and hit Cross Rhodes and almost won but Axel broke it up. Goldust took Axel out of the ring while Stardust rolled Ryback up from behind to pick up the win!

Winners – Goldust & Stardust

Grade – B+, After the match, Curtis Axel attacked Stardust from behind and looked to take him out, but this set him up for The Dust Brothers to hit him with their finisher. A great match between two great teams in our tag division. Stardust and Goldust are a new team and picking up a victory over the very strong team in Rybaxel is pretty bit. One has to wonder if Stardust and Goldust have their eyes on The Usos.

Backstage Interview W/Fandango

Byron Saxton is backstage and they talk about Fandango’s current love triangle and how he is going to call it down the middle. Layla and Summer Rae come in and brag about their better assets before breaking out into an argument until Fandango breaks it up!

Rusev W/ Lana vs. Big E

Lana and Rusev make their way to the ring, Rusev is waving The Russian Flag as they make their way to the ring. Lana cuts a promo in the ring and talks about The American Flag and calls it a joke and claims Vladimir Putin will be watching this match before Rusev grabs the mic and says tonight he crushes Big E! Big E makes his way to the ring waving the American Flag. A video is played during his entrance of Big E talking in the preaching voice he did on Raw about his upcoming match. The match starts off and the two big men begin to take it to each other. Trading blows back and forth until Big E gained the upper hand by clotheslining Rusev out of the ring. Rusev tried to get back in the ring  but hung on the apron as  Big E landed a hard hit and went for the spear threw the ropes like last time, but Rusev saw it coming and got his knee up. The Bulgarian Brute got into the ring and began to dominate Big E. Rusev continued to control the match with heavy strikes and deadly submissions, and whenever Big E tried to get back in the match Rusev would shower him with strikes. Rusev bounced off the ropes and went for a splash but Big E moved out of the way and hit Rusev with a Belly to Belly suplex for a two count. Big E and Rusev began to brawl once again with Rusev getting the advantage as Big laid in wait in the turnbuckle Rusev built up speed and ran at the former Intercontinental Champion. Big E managed to catch Rusev and slam him into the mat for a two count. Big E hit a belly to belly and Rusev rolled out onto the apron. Big E built up speed and speared Rusev through the ropes and down to the outside of the ring. Lana screamed at Rusev while Big E tossed Rusev back in the ring. Rusev seems to be spitting out blood and is hurt, while Big E pulls the straps down and waits for Rusev to get up to hit The Big Ending. Rusev once again rolled out to the apron, avoiding The Big Ending, Big E went after Rusev, but Rusev landed a stiff kick to the side of Big E’s skull. Rusev got it and hit Big E with a huge superkick before locking in The Accolade. Big E tried to fight out and it appeared he might have been able to, as he got on his knees, but Rusev pulled further back and forced Big E to tap out.

Winner – Rusev

Grade – B+, Another great match between these two. I wish WWE would invest more time into their feud. Big E took it to Rusev tonight and gave him his toughest challenge to date, but The Super Athlete continues to dominate, and I think it’s for Rusev to move on from Big E and onto Sheamus and the WWE United States Championship.

Backstage Segment W/ The Bella Twins & Stephanie McMahon

Both Brie and Nikki are backstage talking about Vickie Guerrero until Stephanie came up and asked why Brie was here. Nikki said she invited her as her guest and Steph told Nikki “Not to think, It’s not what The Bellas do best.” Brie shows Steph her new favorite video and we get to see Steph in the mud bath from last week and Steph eventually calls security to take Brie out of the building.

Special Referee Match

Referee – Fandango

Layla vs. Summer Rae

Fandango makes his way to the ring first and Summer and Layla soon follow. As the match begins we see Summer flirt with Fandango before the two divas begin to go at it. Summer Rae takes the early control slamming Layla into the turnbuckle and choking Layla with her foot and distracting Fandango with her long legs. Layla pushes her off and she falls into Fandango and it looked like the two were about to kiss before Layla turned her around and began to beat her down.Layla locked Summer in a submission move and Fandango very awkwardly looked on. As the two got to their feet Summer Rae planted Layla with a DDT for only a two. Two end the match Layla landed a stiff kick to the side of the skull and covered Summer for the three. Fandango and Layla make out and head out of the arena leaving Summer in the ring crying.

Winner – Layla

Grade – C+, Not many people cared for this feud. I for one found the feud entertaining but not really what they were fighting over. I think it would of worked out a lot better if Summer returned and Fandango and Layla continued to interview and cost Summer her matches. I don’t know just weird to hear her say on NXT that it doesn’t bother her to now all of a sudden wanting him? Either way the two went out their and put on a decent match up but no one cared enough to notice.

WWE World Heavyweight Championship Ladder Match

U.S Champion Sheamus vs. Bray Wyatt vs. Alberto Del Rio vs. Cesaro W/ Paul Heyman vs. John Cena vs. Randy Orton vs. Roman Reigns vs. Kane

Triple H and Stephanie McMahon make their way to the ring first to watch the following match. All the superstars make their way to the ring and this match is under way. Everyone begins to brawl for quite awhile until Kane and Randy Orton clear the ring of everyone besides John Cena. The duo begins to beat down on Cena until Alberto Del Rio and Cesaro made their way into the ring with a ladder and began to take everyone out with it. Wyatt got back in the ring and ran at the two, jumping at them and lands a cross body on the ladder, taking both Del Rio and Cesaro down. Cena and Wyatt begin to battle, and Cena attempts to lift Bray up for the AA but Wyatt slides down and slams Cena gut first into the ladder. Roman Reigns gets in the ring and Wyatt and Reigns stare each other down before Reigns takes him down with a Samoan Drop. Roman begins to climb the ladder, but The U.S Champion, Sheamus pulls him down and takes him out and begins to climb the ladder himself until Kane comes in. Kane and Sheamus brawl while Reigns comes in with another ladder but beings to fight with Orton. It’s not to long before Roman Reigns gets rid of Orton. Both Sheamus and Reigns pick up ladders and sandwich Kane in between them. Roman and Sheamus set up their ladders and climb to the titles along with Cesaro and Del Rio joining him. Kane pushed over a ladder with Sheamus and Del Rio and than the other with Reigns and Cesaro. The Big Red Monster began to clear the ring of everyone before setting a ladder up. Kane grabbed Orton by the throat and threw him over near the ladder as he held the ladder still so Orton could climb. Randy began to climb but Roman Reigns came in and took out Kane and pushed the ladder over, sending Orton off as well. The ladder seemed to smack Orton in the head on the way down, as Roman takes out Kane and sets up a ladder. Reigns begins to ascend the ladder, but Wyatt comes in and pulls him down and soon Cena follows. John Cena is looking to hit Bray Wyatt with the Five Knuckle Shuffle, but as he turned around Cesaro tossed him high in the air and connected with The Uppercut! Cesaro and Sheamus began to climb the ladder again, battling over the title! While Bray Wyatt Spider-Walked to the side of the ladder and pulled it out form underneath Cesaro and Sheamus. Cesaro and Sheamus are now hanging for the two title belts and Sheamus soon falls, but Cesaro holds on for longer but not to much longer before he falls as well. Wyatt jumps and lands on top of Cesaro while Randy Orton is shown being checked on until he races away from the docs and gets back in the match, immediately going after Del Rio. Orton set a ladder up between the ring and the Spanish announce table, Sheamus comes over and starts slamming Orton’s face into the ladder before climbing on top of it. Orton swept Sheamus’s feet from under him and Sheamus hits the ladder hard. Orton than sets him up and hits The Hangman DDT from the ladder. Orton set up a ladder and everyone came into the ring and tried to climb it until Kane cleared the ring. The Red Machine turned his attention towards Sheamus, but The U.S Champ turned it around and hit the 10 Beats onto Kane’s chest. Sheamus than cleared the ring and began to set the ladder up, but before he could climb it Kane grabbed his foot and dragged him to the outside of the ring. Sheamus and Kane fought on the outside, Sheamus eventually tossed Kane into the steel steps and got back in the ring. Meanwhile Cesaro slid another ladder in between the rungs of the one in the middle of the ring and he and Sheamus began to brawl at the top of the ladder. Reigns made his way into the ring but as Del Rio slide the ladder even further through the other rungs, he connected with Reigns gut. Roman fought through the pain as he tilted the ladder over on Sheamus and Cesaro making a kind of jungle gym scenario where Cesaro had to climb around the ladders to get to the titles while Sheamus had to reach further. Cena came back in and titled the ladder back the right way and the brawl of superstars began. Bray suplexed Cena onto the ladders and Kane sent Bray face first into a ladder and than cleared the ring with Orton. Kane goes to hold the ladder for Orton again, but Roman Reigns dives through the ladder and spears Kane. Orton pushed the ladder over and it hit Reigns in the back of the head. Orton looked to take advantage but it was not long before Reigns connected with The Superman Punch and began to take out all his competitors! Reigns impressed on the outside of the ring as he slammed Wyatt face first onto the announce table, landed his signature dropkick on the apron to Del Rio and than to Wyatt on the table and ended it with a spear to Cesaro. Roman got back in the ring as did Cena and the two began to square off until Reigns took him down with A Spear! Roman began to climb the ladder but Randy Orton came in and forced Reigns down with an impressive signature back breaker from Orton. Orton begins to climb the ladder but Wyatt pulls him down and hits Sister Abigail. Bray begins to climb up the ladder but Del Rio is there to take him down and begin to climb the ladder himself until Sheamus comes in and pushes The Ladder over and connecting with A Brogue Kick From Sheamus. The U.S Champ begins to climb the ladder and comes pretty close until Cesaro is in and pulls him down and connects with an European Uppercut. Now Cesaro climbs until Orton is back in and catches Cesaro with an RKO. Randy begins to climb the ladder but Reigns is in and he begins to climb as well, nailing Orton with headbutts every step he takes until he knocks The Viper Down! Roman begins to climb again until Kane grabs him by the throat and slams him down. The Big Red Machine once again holds the ladder for Orton as he climbs, but this time Cena is in and hits Kane with an Attitude Adjustment, before lifting Orton up onto his shoulder and hitting another AA onto Kane. Cena climbs the ladder and pulls down the championship to become The Third Ever WWE World Heavyweight Champion.

Winner & New WWE World Heavyweight Champion – John Cena

Grade – A-, Not as good as the other ladder match tonight, but when you think about it this one had more, so there is a reason why it was slower. All 8 men went out there with a mission. 7 of them wanted the WWE World Heavyweight Championship and One just had to make sure Randy Orton won. Sheamus really stood out to me tonight as did many stars. Cesaro and Bray whoa are two young stars on the rise didn’t have many highlights tonight. Everybody else though put on one hell of a match, and Orton took one nasty cut. My only real problem with this match is the winner. I fully expected Cena to walk away as champ, but that does not mean I think it was right. WWE had an opportunity to elevate one of its young rising stars in Cesaro, Bray Wyatt and Roman Reigns. but tonight the instead went with the safe route and gave it to Cena. The Authority does not seem to happy that Cena won, and I can’t even imagine who Cena will face at Battleground. I wanna say Randy Orton, but I don’t think WWE is stupid enough to do that again.

Superstar of the Night – John Cena

It may be a little obvious, but Cena is the Superstar of the night. It doesn’t matter how much better your match was than his or how much more work you put in, he walked out the New WWE World Heavyweight Champion. Some love it! Others don’t, but he is now a 15 time World Champion!

Extreme Rules 2014 – He’s Got the Whole World, In His Hands!

Hello my friends and welcome to the 2014 edition of WWE’s Extreme Rules! Tonight our advertised main events are John Cena vs. Bray Wyatt in a Steel Cage Match, Evolution vs. The Shield and Daniel Bryan defends his WWE Championship against Kane! Will John Cena end The Cult Like following of Bray Wyatt, or will Wyatt complete his mission and bring out the monster inside of John Cena? Will The Shield be able to overcome Evolution, or will The Game and company prove everything they said to be true? and of course will Daniel Bryan be able to overcome the monster that is Kane? or will The Big Red Machine win his second WWE Championship! Let’s find out!

Extreme Rules Pre-Show

WeeLC Match

Hornswoggle vs. El Torito

It is know time for our WeeLC match, and before anyone is introduced we have some special people out there. We have a midget referee and a midget ring announcer! Along with our new ref and announcer we have a new announce team! joining JBl, Cole and The King on commentary tonight is Micro Cole, JBElf and Jerry “The King” Smaller! Out first is Los Matadores and El Torito, after they come out Three Man Band and Hornswoggle make their way to the ring. The bell rings and the two begin to swing at each other! Torito gets in control by taking Swoggle down with a Hurricarana, and shortly after we are treated with a commercial break, but once we are back we see The Matadores and 3MB trading blows, but the band is able to take them out, and Torito was all by himself as Swoggle began to beat down on him! We saw Swoggle call the shots as he had 3MB set up a Mini Table and ladder! He also had Heath Slater hold Torito still has he swung at him with the mini steel chair, but Torito ducked and the chair connected with Slater’s gut and sent him off the apron into a bunch of tables! McIntyre and Mahal forced Torito to the top of the ladder, as Hornswoggle looked to toss him off the mini ladder through the mini tables, but Los Matadores got back up and lifted Jinder up onto their shoulders as Torito smashed Swoggle’s face into the ladder and jumped over him onto Jinder and took him, Mahal, and Los Matadores down. All 4 men went through table and ladders! Hornswoggle was not down with Torito as he had Drew pick him up and put him on a regular table. He than demanded McIntyre the jump to the outside onto Torito. As Drew jumped over the ropes, Torito moved out of the way and Drew went through the table by himself. Torito than grabbed a mini steel chair and went to hit Slater, but accidentally hit Hornswoggle! He tan unfolded the chair and slammed Slater’s face into it! To end the match El Torito did a springboard leap of the ring ropes, onto Hornswoggle sending him through a mini table to pick on the win!

Winner – El Torito

Rating – 6\10: A lot of people were not looking forward to this match, but I actually was! I looked at it as something different. Down in Mexico where El Torito hails from, midget wrestling is actually a pretty big thing down there, and El Torito was one of the most popular stars! Maybe WWE can have their own midget division, or maybe not! Despite the fact that Torito and Hornswoggle put on an entertaining match, the WWE still made a joke out of it! and while it was amusing! I do not want a Midget Division, if its always going to be a joke! I do think it was a clever idea to get Los Matadores and 3MB involved in the match as well! I really enjoyed this match, and hope maybe we get to see more of this from the WWE!

Extreme Rules!

Rob Van Dam vs. Cesaro W/Paul Heyman vs. Jack Swagger W/Zeb Colter

We open up the official show with an Elimination Triple Threat Match! At Wrestlemania 30 Cesaro won the Andre the Giant Battle Royal and ended his partner ship with Zeb Colter and Jack Swagger. The night after Mania Cesaro, was no longer a Zeb Colter guy, he became a Paul Heyman guy!  All three of these superstars were involved in the tournament for the Number One Contendership for the Intercontinental Championship! Van Dam beat Cesaro in the tourney and declined an offer from Zeb Colter. Swagger and Cesaro cost Van Dam his match against Wade Barrett in the Intercontinental Title Tourney! And now the three finally get their hands on each other! First out was Van Dam to a nice crowd reaction and than was Swagger and Colter and finally Heyman! Heyman speaks on the mic before he introduces Cesaro! Heyman speaks how WWE got it right and had one night dedicated to Extreme! The crowd begins to chant ECW at Heyman, Heyman began to talk about how glad he is that he will always be remembered, and as it seemed like he was going to say ECW, he quickly turns it around by saying he will always be remembered for Brock Lesnar, his client ending The Undertaker’s undefeated streak at Wrestlemania, he tan introduces Cesaro and the two head down to the ring together. Of course this being a triple threat match it means all three men will be in the ring at the same time. It appeared that The former Real Americans were going to work together early on against Van Dam, but RVD being the more experienced of the two was able to stay in control of the match despite the early team up. Swagger and Cesaro finally started to take it to Van Dam together, but that did not last to long as the former partners took it to each other! We saw all three men hit each other with many hard hitting moves. At one point Van Dam hit Cesaro with a sunset flip and Cesaro landed on top of Swagger! Cesaro manged to suplex Suplex Swagger back into the ring from the Ring Apron, and after Swagger hit the canvas RVD flew and hit Jack with a Five Star Frog Splash to eliminate him from the match!

RVD eliminates Jack Swagger via pin fall

With Jack Swagger eliminated, this Triple Threat match, becomes a one on one match! We have seen these two face off before during The Intercontinental Championship Tournament! Van Dam was able to pick up the victory over Cesaro that night, and admittedly they did not put on a good match that night! Tonight they look to out do their previous match! Both superstars have already taken damage, but they were holding nothing back! Van Dam pulled out his Extreme side tonight. We saw Van Dam hit classic moves such as The Spinning Leg Drop from the ring apron to the outside to Cesaro who was hanging over the barricade, we saw Van Dam pull out an impressive Rolling Thunder, it definitely had to be the best one I’ve seen from him! Cesaro took the damage, but he also dished it out to Van Dam! At one point Van Dam pulled out a Trash Can and looked to use it against Cesaro, but The Swiss Superman his a Baseball slide right into the Trash Can and sent it right into the gut of RVD! The Trash Can played a part at the end of the match. RVD threw it at Cesaro, and he was able to catch it but this set him up for the Van Damninator! This set Cesaro up for a Five Star Frog Splash! RVD set the Trash Can on top of Cesaro and went for the Frog Splash, but Cesaro moved out of the way, but left the weapon there and Van Dam landed right on top of it! Cesaro forced Van Dam up to his feet and hit The Neutralizer on top of the Trash Can to win the match by pin fall!

Winner – Cesaro

Rating – 8\10: What an opening match! All three men looked great here tonight! Sadly Swagger was the first one to go, and me being a fan of Swagger and Colter it sucks to see him go first, but it took to hard hitting moves to take him out! Cesaro and Van Dam made everyone forget about their sloppy match on Raw a few weeks ago with their brief one on one match! I was also glad to see RVD pull out the Extreme! With the PPV being called Extreme Rules and RVD being the king of Extreme, it just made sense! even if it was just a Trash Can! A great opening match here, but I’m a little worried for all three men! I don’t see where they go from here. I’m sure WWE will come up with something for Cesaro, but as for RVD and Swagger, I expect them to be in limbo for awhile!

Backstage Segment W/ Daniel Bryan (c) & Stephanie McMahon

We see backstage the Doctor is checking on Bryan, when Steph comes in and ask for a minute alone with Bryan. Mrs. McMahon explains that she can’t control Kane, and she is worried for Bryan and tells him there is away out of it, and he Bryan needs to do is Vacate the WWE World Heavyweight Championship! Bryan tells Steph to get out and Steph responds by telling Bryan, after tonight he won’t be WWE World Champion, but he will be Kane’s Bitch!

Alexander Rusev W/Lana vs. R-Truth & Xavier Woods

Lana comes out first and states she is dedicating this match to Vladimir Putin! Rusev comes out next and the two walk down to the ring! Out next is the team of Woods & R-Truth! Usually Truth & Woods are having fun and rapping when they come down the ring, but as Truth said on the mic, there will be no rapping tonight and things are getting serious! Before the match even begun, before both men could get into the ring, Rusev hit Woods with a Super Kick sending him out of the ring and also took Truth off the apron as well! Rusev went outside of the ring and began to beat down on Woods. Rusev hit Woods with a HUGE slam outside of the ring, and before the match could even begin, Rusev already took Woods out! The match finally began when Truth told the ref he was fine, and the ref was able to hold Rusev back long enough, but the second the bell rang, Rusev went right after Truth and beat him down. Truth did mange to fight back, and even took Rusev down. For the first time in Rusev’s career he was almost defeated! Lana almost had a fit when that happened! but after that pin happened it was over for Truth! Rusev began to beat down on Truth again! The final moments of the match happened when Rusev hit Truth with a HUGE slam! and followed up with The Accolade! to force R-Truth to tap out!

Winner – Alexander Rusev

Rating – 6\10: I’m not going to lie! I wasn’t even remotely excited for this match! It was a handicap match, that mimicked Ryback of early last year! but this wasn’t a one sided match and it wasn’t even a handicap match! I thought it was clever and really interesting that Rusev took Woods out before the match could even begin! I’m also glad that it wasn’t one sided, the fact that Truth got some offense in as well and even piked up a two count on him, it really added to the match! Rusev should of won here and he did! The Bulgarian Brute continues his dominance tonight! I’m still excited to see where his career goes! Before I move on though, I do wanna talk briefly about Xavier Woods! Just like Rusev, Woods is still in his rookie year in the WWE, and came over from NXT not to long ago! Its sad to see how far Woods has fallen already, and I really hope things do turn around for him, because Woods could be a great mid card, or tag team if you just let him!

Backstage Interview W/ Evolution

Renee Young is backstage with all three members of Evolution. She asks them about their match against The Shield later tonight, and what they have done to prepare. Triple H answers by saying the Shield believe that Evolution’s egos is what will cost them the match. The Game admits that all three of them have massive egos before he tells us that they are well deserves. He than goes around and builds up both Batista and Orton before asking Young is she knows why he is called The Cerebral Assassin, she ask why and Triple H responds by telling her that she will find out tonight. Than Orton gets on the mic and states Triple H was right when he said you either adapt or perish, and tonight The Shield will perish and you can believe that! The Interview ends when all three mock The Shield by putting their fist together in the center just like their opponents do!

WWE Intercontinental Championship Match

Big E (c) vs. Bad News Barrett

WWE did something right with The Intercontinental Championship! Along with the United States Championship, The IC title has been losing it’s prestige over the years! but when WWE announced the Number One Contenders Tournament! Barrett did not have any momentum, but that all changed when he finally made his return to the ring and went on to defeat Dolph Ziggler, Sheamus and RVD to win the tournament! He know faces Big E, a man who the WWE Universe at one point thought could bring the prestige back to the title, but sadly he ended up being like all the rest! Barrett came down first and told the Universe that he had some bad news! He talked about this new disease in America and stated we would all soon fall to it, just like Big E would fall to him tonight! Big E was out next and he was Booed, and not by a few people! Majority of the Universe booed Big E tonight! Even throughout the match. There wasn’t to many memorable moments in this match up, but it was still good! These two men went out there and put on a hard hitting battle! We saw Big E hit many of his hard hitting strikes and almost put away Barrett with The Big Ending, but Barrett manged to kick out! Bad News as well dished out his fair share of offense as well! We saw Barrett hit Big E with many of his strikes as well as his old finishing move, Waste Land, but Big E managed to kick out! It looked like Bad News was about to win as he went for The Bull Hammer, but Big E moved out of the way and ran against the ropes, and looked like he was ready to take Barrett down, but Bad News jumped into the air and hit The Bull Hammer to knock Big E out and pick up a three count and his fourth Intercontinental Championship!

Winner & New Champion – Bad News Barrett

Rating – 7\10: It’s great too see Barrett back in the ring, and he is really over with The Universe! Instead of cheering the fan favorite, Big E, the universe chose to Boo him and cheer for The Heel, Wade Barrett! Even though there wasn’t many highlights of the match, that does not take away from this match! These two still went out there and put on a great match! and now the Bad News Barrett is the new Champ, I’ll be interested to see if the title is now elevated! I hope we do get to see a feud between these two! I think these two can elevate each other, and if Barrett continues to stay and become more popular with The Universe! He may find himself in the main event after he drops the strap!

Evolution (Triple H, Randy Orton & Batista)  vs. The Shield (Roman Reigns, Dean Ambrose (c) & Seth Rollins)

Before they come out we are shown a video package for this match. The Video highlighted The Shield’s dominance, the re birth of Evolution and of course the rivalry between the two team! The Video was really well down and really got me even more excited for this match! First out is Evolution, and I don’t think Batista got the memo as both Orton and HHH wore Black to the ring, but Batista wore Red! Next out is The Shield, and they don’t take their time as they rushed to the ring. Before the match began, the two teams began to brawl, and The Shield tossed each member of Evolution out of the ring! The match finally began and Seth Rollins and Triple H started out first! In the early parts of the match we saw both teams take it to each other! both teams had their moments of dominance! Evolution beat down on The Shield, The Shield beat down on Evolution! Once we starting getting into the mid match, is when things began to break down! We saw the teams brawl outside of the ring, Reigns attempted to spear Triple H, but The Game moved out the way and Reigns went right into the steel steps! Evolution began to take control over the match, as they singled out Ambrose and took turns beating down on him, Ambrose did mange to tag in Rollins, but that did not change anything as Evolution still took turns beating down on Rollins. Things began to break down though when The Shield started getting back into the match! They did more daring moves and we saw both teams trade blows and honestly it just felt like a brawl! All three members of The Shield were in the ring together and they lifted Batista up and hit him with The Triple Threat Power Bomb! Ambrose went on the outside and began to brawl with Randy Orton, while Rollins attempted to  land a suicide dive onto The Game, but HHH moved out of the way and Rollins went into the barricade! Triple H got into the ring, and lifted Reigns up and hit him with The Pedigree! Triple tried to roll Batista over Reigns, but Ambrose raced into the ring and began to brawl with Triple H and the two went over the announce table, while this is happened Reigns managed to kick out of the pin, but Orton quickly got back in the ring and hit Reigns with an RKO! Rollins got back in and took Orton outside of the ring! Rollins and Orton battles on the outside and Triple H joined in! Orton and HHH beat down on Rollins in the crowd, but Ambrose goes running across the announce table and jumped onto both Triple H and Orton! All Four men battled outside in the crowd! At one point Orton and The Game tossed Ambrose down a set of steel stairs, and the two continued to beat down on Ambrose, until Rollins jumped for the row above them and landed on all three men! Both Batista and Reigns are back up in the ring and we see the two begin to fight! Roman managed to hit Batista with The Superman Punch. Reigns let out his primal scream and ran full force at Batista to hit him with his version of The Spear to pick up the three count for his team!

Winners – The Shield

Rating – 9\10: The Match of the Night! All six of these men went out their and contributed to this match! Both teams dominated at some point and all men looked great here tonight! and I have to say this. My two favorite wrestlers are Triple H and Dean Ambrose! I have been a huge fan of The Game ever since his first return from injury back in 2001, and I have been following Dean Ambrose for his entire career, even before he was hired by WWE and went by the name Jon Moxly! So seeing those two fight for a few moments was just a dream come true for me! There were many great highlights in this match, and I’m sure it will be nominated for Match of the Year! but now that The Shield won, is it over? I doubt it, because I’m sure Triple, Batista and Orton aren’t to happy about losing!

Steel Cage Mach

Bray Wyatt W/The Wyatt Family vs. John Cena

Before the match starts we are shown a video package for this match. The Video highlighted Bray Wyatt! We saw highlights from Wyatt’s and Cena’s match from Wrestlemania 30! and we were also treated to the highlights leading up to this event. Bray was the main focus, as I don’t believe we once saw Cena get the advantage in this build up! The video ended with Bray and the creepy kids from this past Monday on Raw singing “He’s Got the Whole World, In His Hands.” Out first was John Cena who received his mixed reaction as usual, than it was Bray and company! Both superstars are surrounded by the Steel Cage and they begin to take it to each other! For the in ring action, there was not many memorable spots! Honestly this match was mostly Cena! We watch John beat down on Wyatt and than attempt to leave the Steel Structure, but of course both Eric Rowan and Like Harper made sure Cena could not escape! We saw Rowan and Harper stand below Cena, climb up the cage and force him back in and even test their strength against Cena as he tried to escape from the door! At one point early on we even got to see a double team! Wyatt held Cena against the Steel Cage, as Rowan ran and jumped into the part of the cage Cena was against!  Cena looked like he was going to win many times, especially when he locked in the STF, but his mistakes came back to haunt him as Luke Harper (who he pulled inside the cage earlier in the match) broke up the hold! Cena did mange to take out each member of The Wyatt Family, and looked like he was about to win by walking out of the door, but the lights went off and we here He’s Got the Whole World playing over the speakers in a distorted voice. Once the lights come on we see a young boy standing in front of Cena  singing the same song in the same voice. Wyatt takes advantage of this as he grabs Cena and pulls him back in the hit Sister Abigail! Bray than walks out of the door to win the match!

Winner – Bray Wyatt

Rating – 6\10: The rivalry between these two have been great, I just wish the ring work was better. I’m not saying both of their matches were bad, but for a rivalry like this, I feel like the matches should of been far better, especially tonight? I was expecting Cena to beat down on Wyatt, but instead we got to see him dominate Bray for the majority of the match and attempt to escape! Seriously that is all I can really remember about the in ring action. I did think it was interesting how Cena’s plan backfired on him. The reason these two were fighting inside the Steel was to keep Harper and Rowan out, but it didn’t work! The ending with that little boy singing was clever and unexpected! Even though Bray won here tonight, it feels like he lost to me! I thought his mission was to bring out the monster in Cena? Tonight he failed to do that! and even though Cena technically won this match many times tonight, Wyatt is the one that comes away with the victory!

WWE Divas Championship Match

Tamina Snuka vs. Paige (c)

WWE finally gives the audience a break! After having two of a three main events take place, we are given the filler match! Paige defends her championship for the first time against Tamina Snuka! Early on Paige used her speed against Tamina as she stayed away from her strength and even outsmarted her several times! Snuka manged to get back in the match as Paige climbed the turnbuckle and got hit with a Super Kick, sending her outside of the ring! Tamina and Paige brawled outside, and at one point The Divas Champ attempted a Hurricarana, but Tamina showed of her strength when she turned the move around on Paige and swung our champion into the barricade! Things began to look bad for our champ as Tamina began to dominate! Paige showed off her resiliency as she kicked out of every pin attempt! Our Champion managed to get back into the match in the late game and even forced Tamina to tap out after she locked in The Scorpion Crosslock!

Winner & Still Divas Champion – Paige

Rating – 5\10: I feel like this match was rushed, and honestly it probably was. I know both Tamina and Paige are way better than what we saw tonight. They put on a fun match, but it could of been so much better! Paige in her PPV debut, still manages to come away with the victory, but I can’t say I’m happy with the way the WWE is handling her!

Backstage Segment W/ The Wyatt Family

Bray tells the Little Johnny AKA the Young Boy who helped him win the Steel Cage Match. Bray brags about how his word will be heard and ask Johnny if he knows what is next. Little Johnny replies by saying “Follow The Buzzards”

WWE World Heavyweight Championship Extreme Rules Match

Kane vs. Daniel Bryan (c)

Before the match begins we are shown a Video Package for this match! The Video highlights The feud between these two and The Monster Side of Kane! We are shown Bryan’s win at Mania, and we are shown the destructive path, that Kane has left behind him ever since he put his mask back on! Out first is our Champion Daniel Bryan, and it we did not have to wait long for Kane to come out or even for this match to begin, because Bryan did not wait for Kane, he met him halfway down the entrance way! The two began to brawl before the match began, and even after the match began! Kane did get the advantage over Bryan as he definitely embraced The Extreme part of this match! Kane went for many dangerous moves on Bryan, including a Tombstone Piledriver on top of the Steel Steps, but lick enough for Bryan he managed to get out! It wasn’t long before these two took it to the backstage, and this is were the match really picked up! Kane really wanted to hurt Bryan tonight. We saw Kane throw what looked like a Laptop at Bryan, Bryan’s luck continued as he not only dodged the laptop, but moved out of the way before it began to spark since Kane threw it into water. The two battled to the parking lot and Kane tossed Bryan on top of a car and even threw at keg at Bryan that went through the windshield, when Bryan managed to move out of the way! Bryan found a Crowbar in the open trunk of another car and knocked Kane out backstage with it. The only way Bryan could win though is in the ring, so he needed to come up with a way to get Kane back to the ring! Bryan rolled Kane onto a wooden base that was on a Forklift! Bryan than started and drove the Forklift to ringside and rose the base as high as he could before dumping Kane back into the ring! Bryan than climbed up the Forklift and hit a jumping headbutt from the top of the Lift! Kane managed to kick out of a close pin, but Daniel managed to lock in The Yes Lock. Kane fought out of the submission hold but crawling out of the ring, The Champion ran at Kane and flew through the ropes to hit a Suicide Diva on Kane, but The Monster caught Bryan in mid air around the through, before he lifted him up and Chokeslamed him through the announce table! While Bryan laid there on the ground, Kane began to set up another table! The Monster than poured Gasoline on the table an lit it on fire! Kane and Bryan fought on the ring apron, Kane tried to Chokeslam Bryan through the flaming table, but Daniel used the ropes like a sling shot to knock Kane off the apron and through the table on fire. Two men quickly used the Fire Extinguishers to put the flames out, Kane stumbled himself back into the ring, but the second he got him Bryan, who was waiting on him ran full force at his opponent and hit him with The Running Knee!

Winner & Still WWE World Heavyweight Champion – Daniel Bryan

Rating – 7\10: Wow! These two went to the extreme! I never thought I would see a Table on Fire in the PG Era of WWE, but we did! This match reminded be a lot of the Hardcore matches we got to see in The Attitude Era! Kane was the perfect choice for Bryan’s first title defense given their history. Former Tag Team Champions together as Team Hell No! Just last year in this same arena they teamed up together to defend their tag titles against Dolph Ziggler and Big E at Wrestlemania 29! and to see them now feuding is just great! The build up for this feud has been slow, but entertaining! I do get the feeling these two are not done with each other, since as Bryan was walking up the entrance way, Kane got up and made flames come up from the ground behind Bryan!

Superstar of the Night – Roman Reigns

Tonight all three members deserve this award, but it’s The Superstar of the night, not Superstars of the night! The Shield put on the best match tonight against Evolution! We saw Dean save the match many times, and we saw Rollins put his body on the line for the team, but at the end of they day, it was Roman Reigns who hit Batista with The Superman Punch! It was Roman Reigns who hit Batista with The Spear! and it was Roman Reigns who pinned Batista to pick up the win. There is no doubt in my mind that these three men can become big stars in the WWE, and tonight they looked like it! I don’t think the feud between those 6 men is over, but I do think that once The Shield is finished with Evolution that we will see big things from Reigns! Tonight was the first step of many for Roman Reigns!
