WWE NXT |7-17-14|”I’m looking to Embarrass him!”

Hello my friends and welcome to my review of this weeks edition of NXT! Tonight’s advertised Main Event is a revenge match between Tyson Kidd and Sami Zayn!

Enzo Amore & Colin Cassady vs. The Vaudevillians (Aiden English & Simon Gotch)

Amore’s music starts off the show as both Enzo and Colin Cassady make their way to the ring for some tag team action. It was brought up by the commentators that Enzo and Colin have not teamed with each other for over 8 months, because of Enzo’s leg injury at the time. Out next are their opponents Aiden English and Simon Gotch, The Vaudevillians! The have a new entrance this week, where a man comes out in their entrance video and introduces them. Once he calls their name the spotlight shines on that certain superstar revealing them from the dark. It honestly was really cool and something I suggest you look up yourself, because I probably did a terrible job of explaining it! Enzo Amore and Aiden English start off the match. The two were honestly back and forth, Aiden kept Enzo tried to keep Enzo under control with submission holds and basic slams, but Enzo is a, bit of a loose cannon, and when he begins to shoot there is no stopping him! The two went back and forth with strikes, English eventually lands one that sends Amore back into his corner and Colin Cassady makes the tag! Big Cass makes his way in the ring, and the commentators are quick to bring up the past between Aiden and Cass! Colin went right after Aiden with some heavy strikes, but as he lifted Aiden over his head, English managed to fall out and make the tag to Simon Gotch. Gotch ran at Big Cass full force, but Colin got his knee up and The Strong Man ran right into his knee! Colin Cassady continued to control Simon, until The Legionaries music hit and Sylvester Lefort and Marcus Louise make their way out. Simon Gotch rolls Colin up from behind off the distraction and grabs a handful of tight to grantee him the victory!

Winners – The Vaudevillians

Grade – B, This match could have been great. Out of all the tag teams, the two teams that are closest to The Ascension level are The Vaudevillians and The team of Enzo Amore & Colin Cassady! But it looks like we are going to have to wait for a real showdown between these two teams, and from what little we saw, it’s promising! Watching Enzo and Aiden going back and forth was entertaining, but the big pop of the match was when Simon Gotch came in and we got to see him and Big Cass battle for the first time. Cass kind of dominated him, and if it weren’t for the distraction maybe we could of seen Gotch make a comeback, but instead The Vaudevillians have no shame in cheating to win. It seems NXT wants us focusing on these three teams, and what I think would be cool is if we got to see all three of these teams fight over the right to challenge The Ascension for their Tag Team Titles!

The Ascension Video Promo

Immediately after the Tag match, a video promo of The NXT Tag Team Champions is shown. Konner briefly talks, but Viktor does majority of the talking. The two talk about how a lot of teams want the NXT Tag Team Champions, but no matter how good you are if you set your eye on their titles you will fail. Viktor ended the promo by stating “If You think you’re the Hunter than your mistaken, because when you face The Ascension, you are only The Hunted.”

The Demise of The Beautiful Fierce Females

We are shown a video that was titles by the commentators “The Demise of The BFF’s” The video started off by showing Charlotte’s win over Natalya that earned her, her first NXT Womens Championship! The video quickly turns to showing Summer Rae’s return and how it all went south from there. The video ended with Summer winning the Number One Contendership to Charlotte’s NXT Womens Championship and how it will be “The Summer of Summer” when she wins. Once the video ends it is announce next week on NXT Charlotte will defend her NXT Womens Championship against Summer Rae!

CJ Parker vs. Xavier Woods

CJ Parker makes his way to the ring first, and I’ll be the first one to admit that he has some catch theme music! Out next is WWE Main Roster superstar, Xavier Woods! These two have had a bit of a mini feud as of late. CJ basically wants Xavier’s spot and says if he was in his position that he would be doing a lot more than Xavier is! Woods took offense to that, and despite Parker’s apology last week Woods poked fun at CJ which resulted in Parker attacking him from behind! Woods overpowered CJ early on and maintained that control with high offensive attacks like the drop kicks and Leg Drops! Xavier dominated over Parker for a long time, turning Parker’s chest red with some nasty chops, but CJ managed to get back into the match as he sent Xavier face first into the bottom rope! Parker followed up with some stiff stomps and kept Woods grounded with a headlock. Xavier fought out of it and got himself back in the match and landed an impressive Over the Rope Spinning DDT! Woods covered CJ for the win, but Parker kicked out at two. Xavier surprised by the kick out, immediately went to the top rope and went for a Diving Cross Body but missed. CJ Parker lined Xavier up for his kick, but Xavier ducked and bounced Parker off the rope and went to roll him up for a pin, but CJ Parker turned the pin into his favor to win the match.

Winner – CJ Parker

Grade – C, Pretty much just a basic match here tonight. I don’t know if it’s CJ or not, but I feel he has sparks of greatness, but he flames out after a while. Tonight just wasn’t really their night, the ending where CJ pinned Xavier looked like he messed it up. I think he was supposed to be holding onto the ropes to make it look like a cheap victory but he didn’t. I have a feeling these two aren’t done with each other yet, but hopefully their future bouts will be better than this!

Backstage Interview W/Sami Zayn

Devin Taylor is backstage with Sami Zayn! She asks Zayn about his feelings towards his match against Tyson Kidd later tonight. Zayn spoke about how he feels ever since Kidd as shown up in NXT we have slowly seen the real Tyson Kidd. He went on to call Tyson many un-kind things and even stated Tyson is living in the shadow of his wife. He ends the interview by saying if you would have said he was fighting Kidd two months ago, he would have been excited, but tonight he is just looking to embarrass him!

Alexa Bliss vs. Sasha Banks

Alexa makes her way to the ring first, and during her entrance a video was played of a promo she cut before the match. Bliss talked about her previous victory over Sasha and how Banks underestimated her because of how Nice She is and Her Size! She even spoke how Banks former BFF’s where there. Banks makes her way down to the ring, and the match is on the way. Alexa Bliss starts off the match with quick pin falls, but each only for two. Banks, obviously annoyed by Bliss, lands a stiff dropkick after she kicks out of the second pin begins to dominate Alexa. Hitting many stiff strikes and even hitting her signature move! She hangs Bliss in the middle of the turnbuckles and then jams her knees right in Alexa’s gut! The Boss covers Alexa, but Bliss kicks out at two. Sasha continues to control Alexa, but Bliss did manage to fight back into it! Alexa using her speed to her advantage began to counter Sasha, and made her way to the top rope before she did and impressive flip over Banks! Sasha is not impresses though and it wasn’t long until she landed a Backbreaker and followed up with a Chin-Lock submission hold to force Alexa Bliss to tap out.

Winner – Sasha Banks

Grade – B-, Not a bad match between the two tonight, but we got to see The Boss dominate more tonight! It must be nice for Sasha to no longer have the distraction of The BFF’s at her side as she avenges her loss tonight. Alexa Bliss shows promise as we get to see more of her in ring skill. She still seems incredibly green to me, but she is improving each and every week. I don’t think it will be too long be Sasha Banks throws her name in the bucket of challenger for The  NXT Womens Championship!

Backstage Interview W/Tyler Breeze

Devin Taylor is backstage with Tyler Breeze and she asks him when he is going to challenge Adrian Neville for his NXT Championship. Breeze goes on to talk about greatness takes time! And once again states he suffered a Modeling Injury when he broke he broke his finger. He did say he had his agent working on the contract now! But of course it doesn’t take hours to get a contract done! Tyler than showed us his Music Video once again!

Backstage Interview W/Tyson Kidd

Before the interview, we are shown of video from last week. A reported walked tried to catch up with Natalya after the show and ask her what her reaction is to Tyson Kidd, but Natalya simply responded with a “I don’t want to talk about it.”  Devin Taylor is backstage with Tyson Kidd. She asks him about Natalya, and Kidd respond by asking her why she is wasting his time. He states when she interviewed Sami she didn’t ask him about his family! He then says what she should be asking him about is his victory over Sami Zayn, and as for his wife, she is a former WWE Divas Champion, she can take a bump and she understands accidents happen in the ring, but tonight when he beats Sami in the ring that won’t be an accident!

Adam Rose vs. Jason Jordan

Adam Rose and The Exotic Express make their return to NXT tonight and apparently Jason Jordan’s Tag Team Partner, Tye Dillinger was last seen with The Exotic Express and now he is injured, and Jason Jordan is going to get to the bottom of it! The match started off with Rose pulling off his usual antics, running his fingers down Jordan’s chest and jumping in his arms before pulling him down into a headlock! Rose kept control over Jordan through the begging but it was not long before Jordan fought back in this match landing a huge elbow on a unaccepting Rose. Jordan followed up with a great dropkicks and a very impressive suplex into a pin of only two. Jordan maintained control over Rose keeping him grounded with a headlock, but Rose fought back into the match and managed to get Jordan into the turnbuckle and hit his signature Cho Cho! Jordan stumbled to his feet right into Rose’s Party Foul. Adam Rose covers Jason Jordan for the win!

Winner – Adam Rose

Grade- C, Adam Rose makes his return to NXT to much fanfare! These two put on a basic match here with few things to boast about! I’m not sure if this whole Tye Dillinger thing is a storyline or not, but if it is that’s sucks for another upcoming team in the blooming NXT Tag Team Division. Adam Rose remains to be undefeated in the WWE/NXT!

Backstage Interview W/Kalisto

Devin Taylor is backstage with Kalisto. She talks about how he has already challenged for the NXT Tag Team Championship and almost defeated The Number One Contender for the NXT Championship, Tyler Breeze. Kalisto tells Devin he would rather talk about his future victories and not his past losses before he is interrupted by The Vaudevillians. Kalisto asks them what they are doing here and Aiden proceeds to hold up a sign reading “Where’s Your Partner?” Kalisto states that He and El Local parted ways, but proceed to tell The Vaudevillians that he can find a new and one and beat them, before asking If their speechless and then leaving!

Tyson Kidd vs. Sami Zayn

Both Tyson Kidd and Sami Zayn make their entrances and the match is quickly under way. Tyson dodged Sami early on using the rules to his advantage forcing the ref to pull Zayn off him during collision in the turnbuckle and against the ropes, the match finally gets under way when Sami finally gets his hands on Tyson landing clothesline after clothesline and following with an impressive Back Body Drop. Tyson Kidd uses the turnbuckle to pull himself up and Sami Zayn ran full force a Kidd looking for the Helluva Kick, but Tyson Kidd rolls out of the ring before Zayn could hit it. Sami rolls out after Kidd, but Tyson is up on the apron and runs at Sami landing a stiff kick to his chin and follows up with a suplex on the steel ramp on the outside of the ring before the commercial break. Once were back from the break we see Tyson Kidd cover Sami Zayn for a one count and then continue to keep control over Sami Zayn. Sami tries to fight back and the two superstars find themselves in the turnbuckle and Kidd begins to beat down on Zayn in the Turnbuckle before lifting him up and tying Zayn to the Tree of Woe! Tyson runs over to the other side of the ring and begins to measure Zayn up as the crowd sings The Chicken Dance at Kidd! Tyson does not let it bother him as he runs as Zayn full force and lands a harsh dropkick to Sami’s face. Tyson keeps control over Zayn grounding him with a headlock, but Zayn manages to get out of it and begins to brawl with Tyson and bounce of the ropes to land an impressive dropkick onto Tyson. Kidd rolls out of the ring, but Sami Zayn is one step ahead of Kidd as he uses the ropes to hit a Springboard Moonsault onto Tyson on the outside of the ring. Tyson rolls himself back into the ring and Sami rushes to the tope rope to land a cross body onto an unsuspecting Kidd! Zayn forces Kidd up and locks hands with him before slapping the chest of Kidd. Sami than went to run off the ropes, but Tyson counters into a drop toe hold, sending Sami face first into the bottom turnbuckle. Sami lays his head out side of the ring, a choice he would soon regret as Tyson Kidd lands a over the rope leg drop onto him, and then keeps control over Zayn. Sami has a brief moment when he and Kidd continued to counter each other, as the two attempted to German Suplex each other, but once again it was Tyson Kidd he win the debacle and lands a German Suplex onto Sami Zayn. Tyson climbs to the top rope and Sami tries to battle him but Kidd just kicks him away and leaps for an Elbow Drop, but he lands right onto Zayn’s Knees! Sami begins to take control and lands Blue Thunder Bomb that gets him only a two count! Tyson rolls on to the outside apron, Sami runs at him but Kidd catches him off guard with a stiff kick! Sami is on wobbly legs as Tyson runs to the top rope and lands a Blockbuster on Sami, but only for a two count. The two have a weird exchange but Tyson ends up locking in the Sharpshooter! Sami struggles to get to the ropes, and when he does Tyson just pulls him way. Sami did end up making it to the ropes refusing to tap out to Kidd! Tyson once again goes to the top rope and dives at Sami, but Zayn catches him in the air and takes him down to the mat where he locks in The Koji Clutch to force Tyson Kidd to tap out!

Winner – Sami Zayn

Grade – A, Sami Zayn and Tyson Kidd continue to put on great matches together. These two have great chemistry together and make perfect rivals. Zayn has always been a fan favorite on NXT and I feel he always will be! Tyson has pulled off his new heel role perfectly, and suffers a tough loss here tonight. It’ll be interesting to see how Tyson responds to this!

Superstars of the Night – The Vaudevillians

Tonight marks the first time we have two superstars of the night! The Vaudevillians have quickly become a top team in NXT and it would appear they are heading down the road to challenge for the NXT Tag Team Championships! Sami Zayn may of had a great match against Tyson Kidd tonight, and he finally got his revenge, but Aiden English and Simon Gotch managed to catch my attention during each of their segments. They opened up the show against Enzo Amore and Colin Cassady and what was a very exciting match up, that sadly ended early due to the distraction of The Legionaries, but it makes me hope foe a three way team match for the #1 Contendership to the Tag belts! Also their segment with Kalisto was a lot better than it should of been. Both Simon Gotch and Aiden English are excelling in their new role as a team, and are the only real challenge right now to The Ascension’s Tag Team Titles Reign.

WWE NXT |5-8-14|Who Will Face Neville at Take Over?

Hello my friends and welcome to my review of May 8th’s edition of NXT! Tonight our advertised main event is a Battle Royal to determine to Number One Contender for Adrian Neville’s NXT Championship! and one can only assume the winner of this battle royal will go on to challenge Neville at the next NXT special Take Over! Let’s get started!

Round One of The NXT Womens Championship Tournament.

Emma vs. Charlotte W/ Sasha Banks

We are starting off the night with the second part of round one of the Womens Championship Tourney! We saw both Sasha Banks and Natalya moves on to Round two last week and both Charlotte and Emma are looking to do the same thing, but they have to beat each other! Emma sadly ever since her debut to the main roster has not been on quite the roll! She has found her self stuck in a pointless story that involves her and Santino Marella being “in love,” but Emma has also been racking up quite a losing steak in NXT, but on the other hand her opponent, Charlotte has seen many victories as of late! Emma and Charlotte have faces off before and I’ll be honest there wasn’t much to this match! Emma got in little offense and Charlotte really dominated the majority of the match by using a couple of submission moves. Emma managed to get back into the match, but she used all of her time to pull out Venemma, The Female Snake Sock Puppet that I guess you can say is in love with Santino’s Cobra. Emma attempted to use The Cobra on Charlotte, but luck for Ms. Flair, Sasha Banks was there to warn her, Charlotte ducks and Emma connected The Cobra on Ms. Banks, but Charlotte rolled her up with an interesting pin she calls Charlotte’s Web to pick up the win.

Winner – Charlotte

Ranking – 4\10: Both these women are capable of so much more. I know on the main roster, Emma is stuck in that horrible story, but NXT is where I come to get away from that horrible story. Whenever I see Emma in action on NXT, I’ve come to expect a good match, but tonight was the opposite. Charlotte practically squashed Emma here tonight, and she looks to be the heavy favorite heading into Round Two. We will find out who she faces later tonight!

The Legionnaires (Sylvester Lefort & Marcus Louis) vs. Kalisto & El Local

Next up is some tag team action between two unknown teams, first is a familiar face as the former manger of Rusev and Scott Dawson, Sylvester Lefort teams up with a new guy named Marcus Louis and they form The Legionnaires, and our next team see another familiar face in El Local and he is also teaming up with a new guy named Kalisto! So two of NXT’s jobbers are looking to step into the tag division! The match starts off with Local and Lefort, and The is the beginning of a one sided beat down! Lefort and Louis took turns tagging each other in to beat down on Local, but finally after waiting for so long Local got himself back in the match by preventing himself from going into the turnbuckle and landing a nice kick right between the eyes of Louis. Both Louis and Local made a tag to their partners. Kalisto comes in with a HUGE Spring Board Cross Body, catching Lefort, and than follows up with an interesting move, it looking kind of like a Cork Screw right into Lefort as he was running at him. Kalisto covered him for the pin, but Marcus Louis was there to break up the pin and even prevented an attack from El Local, or so he though. Louis tossed Local into the ropes, but Local caught himself between the ropes and hung there until Louis went running at him, but Local moved out of the way sending Louis outside the ring and than landed a Cross Body onto him on the outside! Back in the ring Kalisto remains in control as he hits Lefort with many stiff kicks before bouncing into the ropes with a Hand Stand and quickly turning it around to land a kick right to the side of the skull of Lefort. Kalisto covered for a three count.

Winners – Kalisto & El Local

Rating – 5\10: The beginning of this match was such a bore, but the second Kalisto got into this match it got exciting. Kalisto showed of his Lucha skill in the ring tonight and picked up his first win on his debut night. It seems like the NXT Tag Division is beginning to fill up nicely and I’m excited to not only see where this goes, but to see where Kalisto goes in his career!

Camacho vs. Captain Comic

Before this match even was announced, we saw a video of Adam Rose “pumping up” his Rosebud! The match is taking place all because of what happened last week. Captain Comic bumped into Camacho, so after Adam Rose defeated Danny Burch last week, and his Rosebuds came out to join him to celebrate his victory, but Camacho ran down and clotheslined Captain Comic from behind! So tonight the two our facing off, and it was a complete squash as it should of been. Camacho really took it to Comic with hard hitting moves such as, The Dropkick, Wrestling Slams, Jumping Leg Drops and even finished off the match with a Running Samoan Drop!

Winner – Camacho

Rating – 5\10: It’s kind of funny how we have come full circle. Camacho, who used to be a jobber himself, is now doing the jobbing! The was a clever way to keep the feud between Camacho and Rose in our minds, while at the same time limiting their time together. After the match Camacho was looking to beat down on Captain Comic some more, but Rose rushed to the ring to protect his Rosebud. Adam stood there and dared Camacho to come back into the ring as Camacho left. Even though this was a short and one sided match. It actually accomplished quite a lot! Not only to it further the feud between Camacho and Adam Rose, but it showed that Camacho is actually not as green as I thought he was and it even showed character development for Rose, who is usually shown as always happy, but showed tonight he isn’t to happy when one of his Rosebuds are getting beaten up!

Backstage Promos by Alicia Fox & Alexa Bliss

Up next in the final match in Round one of The NXT Womens Championship tourney, but before the match we have two promos by the two women who will be competing in a bit. First is former Divas Champion, Alicia Fox who tells us she can see the future and she sees gold in her future and ends by saying Haters are going to Hate and Winners are to going to Celebrate. Up next is the debuting Alexa Bliss who seems to be playing a good girl kind of character. She expresses how she would love to be take Paige’s place as the Champion and ends her promo by saying when it comes to her, everything is Bliss!

Round One of The NXT Womens Championship Tournament.

Alicia Fox vs. Alexa Bliss

Now it is time for the final match of Round one of the NXT Championship Tourney. We know next week Sasha Banks will face off against Natalya in Round two and Charlotte will be facing either former Divas Champion, Alicia Fox of the debuting Alexa Bliss. Bliss came out with a sparkling Tutu on and even blew glitter at the NXT Universe. I believe Renee Young called her a Fairy, but she reminds me a little more of my friend Alicia honestly or maybe even a Disney Princess. Fox poked fun at the size difference, Bliss is 5 foot something while Fox stands at Six feet! Bliss caught Fox off guard in the beginning, but that did not last long. Alicia Fox hit a hard Tilt a Whirl Back Breaker that did not put Bliss away. Fox kept on with the offense though as she locked in a head lock and kept it locked in, until Bliss fought out of it. Alexa bounced off the ropes, but Alicia caught her and attempted to hit another Tilt O Whirl Back Breaker, but Bliss revered it into a Small Package Pin, to pick up the upset victory.

Winner – Alexa Bliss

Rating – 5\10: Alexa Bliss impresses on her debut as she beats a former Divas Champion, ans she continues on to Round Two, but she has a tough challenge against the heavy favorite, Charlotte! The match itself wasn’t to great, we saw to much dominance from Ms. Fox and even a head lock that felt like forever. I know Fox is capable of more than that, but I don’t know much about Bliss, but who knows maybe she can upset Charlotte and go on to become the New NXT Womens Champion!

Backstage Interview W/Adrian Neville (c)

Devin Taylor is backstage with our NXT Champion, Adrian Neville. First Devin congratulates Neville on a successful title defense against Brodus Clay last week and goes on to ask him about The Battle Royal tonight to determine the Number One Contender for his title. Neville thanks Devin, and goes on to say The Funkasaurous, Brodus Clay is extinct and all that is left his him. He than goes on to say whoever wins this battle royal tonight has his respect and puts over how hard battle royals and even mentions how Cesaro won The Andre the Giant Battle Royal. Neville ends the interview by saying he looks forward to the match!

Battle Royal for The Number One Contender for the NXT World Championship!

It is now time for our Main Event! Whoever wins this Battle Royal will go on to challenge Adrian Neville for the NXT Championship at NXT: Take Over. I don’t know the names of everyone in the battle royal so I’m just going to name off the ones I know. So in the ring after our commercial breaks our superstars such as, Brodus Clay, Aiden English, The Legionnaires, Kalisto, El Local, Colin Cassady, Oliver Grey, Mason Ryan, Yoshi Tatsu, Xavier Woods, and that is all I caught! Mojo Rawley comes out next, and after him is Sami Zayn, during Zayn’s entrance I also saw at the corner of my eye Tyler Breeze and Tyson Kidd get into the ring as well, and the final superstar to make his entrance his the former and longest reigning NXT Champion, Bo Dallas! The Battle royal begins and it is not to long until we have our first elimination, as Brodus Clay tossed out the now released Oliver Grey!

Brodus Clay Eliminates Oliver Grey.

and quickly just as Oliver Grey is gone we have our next elimination, as Brodus Clay tosses out the former WWE Tag Team Champion, Curt Hawkins.

Brodus Clay Eliminates Curt Hawkins.

The superstars begin to brawl once again, but its not to long until we see a group of superstars gang up on the biggest competitor, to work together to get our next elimination.

Multiple Superstars Eliminate Brodus Clay.

Once again the superstars begin to brawl. We see many superstars trying to eliminate the others, but none succeed, but one! Aiden English tosses Danny Burch out of the ring

Aiden English Eliminates Danny Burch.

The superstars go back to brawling, we even get to see El Local connect with a stiff kick to the side of the skull of Camacho, but our next Big Guy makes his presence known, its to bad he just got released not to long ago. Mason Ryan lifts Aiden English over his head and tosses him onto Danny Burch.

Mason Ryan Eliminates Aiden English.

After that elimination, Ryan taunted English while he leaned against the ropes. Honestly Camacho could of tossed him over, but instead we go to commercial break. Once were back for the commercial we see El Local and another superstar, sadly I did not see who it was but they were also eliminated. We were also told during the commercial break Xavier Woods was tossed over, but he landed on the steel steps! Baron Corbin almost eliminates Camacho, but he just hung on. After awhile a Yoshi Tatsu chant broke out for the first time ever in WWE! Mason Ryan his beating down on former NXT Champ, Bo Dallas, meanwhile we see Sylvester Lefort trying to eliminated Kalisto, but Kalisto turns it around and ends up Hurricaraning Lefort and himself over the ropes and down to the floor.

Kalisto Eliminates Sylvester Lefort & Himself.

It is a little while until our next elimination, in the mean time we see many of the superstars battling. There our many superstars left, Xavier Woods and Camacho start to have a chop battle in the middle of the ring as the two traded knife edge tops, but it wasn’t long until Camacho backed up against the ropes. Woods went after Camacho, but he pushed him off, but Woods ran right at Camacho and clotheslined himself and Camacho over the ropes and to the floor.

Xavier Woods Eliminates Camacho & Himself.

The commentators pointed out there our still quite a few big guys in the match, pointing out Mojo Rawley, Mason Ryan, Baron Corbin and Colin Cassady witch could be a very bad thing for late in a battle royal. The commentators also point out that Bo Dallas won last years battle royal and than begin to talk about Sami Zayn, while Zayn attempts to eliminate Baron Corbin, but Dallas attacks him, meanwhile Jason Jordan manages to come up with a huge elimination when he tossed Mojo Rawley over!

Jason Jordan Eliminates Mojo Rawley.

The ring is starting to become more angry. The following superstars remain, Bo Dallas, Sami Zayn, Mason Ryan, Colin Cassady, Tyler Breeze, Baron Corbin, Yoshi Tatsu, and Tyson Kidd and Jason Jordan. Jordan looks to take out yet another big guy. He picks a battle with Baron Corbin, that see him almost get eliminated, but as Corbin went running at him Jordan hits him with a forearm and goes to launch himself back into the ring at Corbin, but Corbin puts his hands up and shoves Jason Jordan out of the ring.

Baron Corbin Eliminates Jason Jordan.

Former NXT World Champion, Bo Dallas goes right after Baron Corbin after the elimination. The two begin to brawl while another Yoshi Tatsu chant breaks out! Dallas has Corbin against the ropes and clotheslines him over them to eliminate him!

Bo Dallas Eliminates Baron Corbin.

Jason Alexander cries over the fact his pick, Baron Corbin, was eliminated! Meanwhile Bo Dallas than picks a fight with Yoshi Tatsu, but Tatsu fights back and has the Former Champ against the ropes. Tatsu goes for a kick to the head of Dallas, but Bo is able to duck it and clotheslines Tatsu over the ropes for another elimination!

Bo Dallas Eliminates Yoshi Tatsu.

The NXT Universe was not to happy to see the man they have been cheering for, Yoshi Tatsu eliminated, and Bo now joins Colin Cassady in the corner to beat down on Mason Ryan. Ryan gets outs of the corner and lifts Bo up onto his shoulders and begins to run, but Bo slides down and uses Ryan’s momentum against him and Mason flies over the ropes!

Bo Dallas Eliminates Mason Ryan.

The Commentators mention there are only five superstars left, but not for long as Bo makes it four in a row when he runs at Colin Cassady, who is leaning up against the ropes, and clotheslines Cassady out of the ring!

Bo Dallas Eliminates Colin Cassady.

and We are down to our Final Four! Bo Dallas, Tyler Breeze, Sami Zayn and Tyson Kidd. I can see all four of these men getting a title shot! Bo has history and almost feels naked without the NXT Title around his waist, Breeze has been rising up in popularity, many feel Zayn should of been the one to take the title of Bo’s waist and Kidd has been on a roll since he began to call NXT his home picking up victories over both Mason Ryan and former champ, Bo Dallas and even earning my Superstar of the Week award Two Weeks in a Row! Dallas quickly after eliminating Cassady goes after the closest superstar next to him, witch just so happens to be Tyson Kidd! Dallas grabs Kidd and looks to toss Kidd over the ropes and make it five in a row, but Tyson reverses it and ends up tossing Bo over the ropes!

Tyson Kidd Eliminates Bo Dallas.

The former champion is stunned and pissed! Kidd goes after Breeze, and the two begin to brawl. Breeze tosses Kidd over the ropes, but Tyson hangs on and hits Breeze with a kick to the side of the head before sliding back into the ring. Tyson began bouncing of the ropes, but Breeze catches him off guard with The Beauty Shot! Kidd seems to be knocked out, Breeze tried to lift him but can’t and turns his attention towards Sami Zayn! These two begin to put on a mini match, but it makes its way back into the battle royal as Zayn has Breeze on the outside and is trying to eliminate him. Zayn hits Breeze with some hard punches to the face But Breeze manages to hand on on hit a shoulder thrust into Zayn’s gut between the rings. Breeze than tosses Zayn out of the ring, but Zayn quite literally hangs on. Tyler Breeze returns the favor to Zayn as he strikes him with some punches to the head and gut, as he tries to eliminate him. Tyson Kidd comes running up from behind, but Breeze tosses him over as well almost eliminating Kidd, but just like Zayn Tyson barley hangs on. Both Kidd and Zayn are hanging their while Breeze hammers them with fist. Tyson manages to get his legs around the throat of Breeze and he pulls him over the ropes to eliminate him, but Breeze hits Sami Zayn on his way down and it would appear that all three superstars hit the ground at the same time!

Winner – N/A

Rating – 8/10: This wasn’t you normal battle royal, every body except really Oliver Grey and Curt Hawkins, had their time to shine. We even got to see more from superstars like Jason Jordan, Baron Corbin and Yoshi Tatsu! The highlight of the match was the ending though! I was not expecting to see Three Men eliminated at the same time. Right after it happened the NXT Universe began to chant “Triple Threat” While all three superstars argued. We see the elimination played back in slow-mo and in reality Tyler Breeze one, his feet were the last to touch. I know it and even the NXT Universe knew it went they began to chant his name. Despite how easy is was to see the refs could not, and this actually led to a bit a bit of a mini brawl between Kidd and Zayn of all people! The Universe began to chant for JBL, but instead The COO of the WWE came down and Triple asked the crowd what they should do about this situation, they began to chant Triple Threat again and Triple H says the know whats best for business and next week Tyson Kidd, Sami Zayn and Tyler Breeze will fight in a Triple Threat Match for the Number One Contendership for Adrian Neville’s NXT World Championship!

Superstar of the Night – Alexa Bliss

I was originally going to give this to whoever one the battle royal, but no one won. Than I though about giving it to Charlotte since she moved on and his the favorite to win the NXT Womens Championship Tourney, or maybe Kalisto who won his debut match tonight, but Alexa did both. Just like Charlotte she moves on to Round Two and just like Kalisto she won her debut match as well, but unlike both Kalisto and Charlotte she beat a former WWE Divas Champion in Alicia Fox! Alexa Bliss certainly is very attractive, and I’m excited to see more from her, and I feel she has a great future here in the WWE and maybe even NXT!

WWE NXT |4-17-14|- Oliver Gray Returns!

Hello my friends, and welcome to my review of April seventeenth edition of NXT! Tonight’s advertised main event match up puts Brodus Clay against NXT World Champion, Adrian Neville! Will Neville be able to shut Clay up? or Will Brodus back up everything he says! Let’s find out!

Colin Cassady vs. Aiden English

Starting off the night with a classic rivalry in NXT, as Big Cass takes on one of his more recent rivals Aiden English. Cass, still seems pretty over with the crowd, Whenever he spells out SAWFT, The spell it with him! I really feel we have a future World Champion and future Top Star in the WWE laying deep inside Colin Cassady! Of course Aiden English is no weakling. English took former WWE & World Heavyweight Champion, Shemaus to the limit a few weeks back! These two are perfect for each other. I’m sure both will go on to have greater rivalries with other superstars, but for both of them to be each others first rivalry, there is something special there! These two just honestly click! Tonight, they put on there best match to date. There rivalry was heavily highlighted, from the commentators talking about their past, to Aiden taunting and screaming at Colin during the match. The ending was fun as it showed both men have learned from their previous encounters as they countered each others finishing move, but as Big Cass looked to finish English off, English quickly rolled Cassady up and grabbed a handful of tights to guarantee him the victory!

Winner- Aiden English

Rating -7\10: A great opening match here tonight. I said before these two put on their best match together, as of this date! I’m excited to see how far this rivalry goes, and if it extends into another and maybe finds its way into a Championship feud. I feel both men are main event talents for NXT, but Once/If Aiden ever makes it to the main roster, he is going to have a hard time getting his character over, but as for Cass I feel if the WWE let’s Colin be himself you may have yourself the next Top Guy! Tonight though, English beats Cass again, but this time having the cheat to win and looks like these two are not done with each other yet.

Backstage Interview W/ Tyler Breeze

Devin Taylor is in the back to introduce Tyler Breeze, but Breeze shows her his phone and has her re-introduce him as a bunch of his nicknames. Devin than goes on to ask Breeze what he wanted to say to the NXT Universe since he requested this time, Breeze responded by saying, he had nothing to say and just though the show needed a little gorgeousness! An interesting promo, that honestly does little to nothing. The only thing I guess the accomplished was making sure Breeze is in the mind of everyone still, hopefully he is in action tonight!

A Highlight of the WWE Divas Champion & NXT Womens Champion – Paige

The highlight starts off just like all the rest, highlighting Paige in NXT, but this time they showed of her surprise victory over Aj Lee for the Divas Championship. We see all the WWE Divas congratulating Paige and hugging her as Paige cries tears of joy over accomplishing her dream! It was a great package that really made a big deal about Paige, and honestly she is a pretty big deal. Paige is the same age as me, 21 years old, and she is already become Not Only the very First  NXT Womens Champion but the longest reigning NXT Womens Champion! and she is still going! and than she wins the Divas Championship from the longest reigning Divas Champion, Aj Lee, in her debut match on the night after Raw! Paige is going to be a big deal in the Divas Division for a long, long time! and WWE would make a mistake letting her go in the future over stupid like age or how old she looks! After the Video, Paige is interviewed about her historical debut, Paige cuts this promo that admittedly wasn’t that great, but Paige kind of reminded us why it didn’t matter! During her promo she said that the WWE Universe doesn’t need to know who Paige is, they just need to know what I do in the ring! and admittedly she may not be the best on the mic, but she makes up for it in the ring. In her promo though she did sound a little cocky, so maybe all the fame and success is going to her head?

Camacho vs. Oliver Gray

Hunico’s music plays, but I guess it’s Camacho’s now! but yea he came out, and than Oliver Gray came out making his debut on the WWE Network and his return from almost a year long injury, and this mini feud between these two started off last week, when Camacho interrupted Gray’s interview, to call out Adam Rose, Gray insulted by this challenged Camacho to match! I’m excited to see what Oliver Gray is like, because I have never seen him in action! but surprisingly tonight, it was Camacho who surprised me the most. Camacho dominated majority of the match as Gray got in little to no offense. Camacho looked really good tonight as well! A lot smother in the ring and his punches, kicks and slams look cleaner. I don’t know if Camacho has been training or just worked his ass of tonight, but he needs to do more of that, because he looked really good tonight! Camacho picked up the victory after hitting Gray with a huge slam!

Winner – Camacho

Rating – 6\10: I can’t believe I’m actually saying it, but Camacho had a good match tonight, its the best match I’ve ever seen from him. It seems like Camacho is going to be Adam Rose’s first real challenge and the returning Oliver Gray was his first victim! Camacho showed a more aggressive side tonight and looked 100 times better in the ring tonight than he has any other night! A bit sad to see Gray lose his first match back, but lets see how this plays out. His old Tag Team partner is not the NXT World Champion. So maybe Gray and Neville will rekindle their friendship, or even better, Tear It Apart!

Backstage Interview W/ Bo Dallas

Devin Taylor is backstage with the former NXT World Champion, Bo Dallas, to talk about his failed attempt to occupy NXT! Bo admits it was a failed attempt, but brags about how is Bo-Leivers are Law Abiding Citizens, and event though they wanted to support him, they couldn’t because it was against the Law! Bo than states it is his mission to get the NXT Championship back, and poses! Devin begins to walk away, but Bo stops her and tells her to Don’t Stop Bo-Leiving! Even thought Bo is huge on NXT! I fear for him in WWE, I don’t know how the WWE Universe is going to take his character, and if he can’t shine in a already packed mid-card than he will fail just as fast as he did on his first run on the main roster! I hope I’m wrong thought!

The Ascension (c) ( Konner O’Brian & Rick Viktor) vs. Wesley Blake & Cal Bishop

I expect this to be a one sided beat down, so before I start the match breakdown, I though it would be interesting to note that this is actually the first time Wesley Blake is in a Tag Match on NXT, the commentators stated that, and this also may be Blake’s last tag team match for awhile. Early on Blake hit Konner with some stiff chops, but Konner ate it and dished out his own beat down on Blake, before tagging in Viktor, who took Blake to the outside of the ring and hit him with non stop European Uppercuts and Chops to the Chest! Rick Viktor tossed Blake back into the ring and tagged in Konner who began to hit numerous stiff Toe Kicks to the gut of Blake that ever earned a One More Time Chant from the NXT Universe, which Konner so graciously provided! He than tagged Viktor back in who raced in and took Bishop out, and than he and Konner stalked Wesley in the ring as the set him up and hit him with The Fall of Man to pick up yet another win!

Winners – The Ascension (c)

Rating – 6\10: Even thought I’m ready to see The Ascension in some serious action against some serious competitors, they still manage to make their beat downs entertaining. Unlike most beat downs, The Ascension keeps it different. They don’t beat their opponents the same way every time! The only thing that stays the same is The Finish! but the actual matches are all different, and I appreciate that! but still I’m ready to see the Tag Champs taken to the limit! Either NXT needs more Tag Teams! or WWE needs to call these men up!

Backstage Interview W/ The BFF’s (Sasha Banks & Charlotte)

Devin Taylor is backstage to interview The Beautiful Fierce Females! Devin makes not of Sasha’s back to back losses to both Emma and Bayley! Sasha begins to make up some excuse, when Charlotte comes in and says Sasha just lost! Charlotte goes on to say she is going to rule this entire Divas Division, and next week her and Sasha have a tag match against Emma and her partner of choice, The two than go on to joke about how Emma has no friends, but Charlotte quickly stops the laughing and snaps at Sasha and than goes on to say this company needs a Diva with a little more Flair, and obvious pun on her last name, but I gotta say for the first time ever, we see some dissension between The BFF’s! Charlotte obviously thinks she is better than every diva including Sasha Banks, and I’ll be watching next week to see what happens. We may have a split on our way, but it may be to early!

Cj Parker vs. The Great Khali

Parker comes out first, and it is no secret that the crowd hates him! Parker makes his way down to the ring to boos, but there was one little girl out there dancing with him! Parker went on to cut a promo about how he would prefer to live in a world without the NXT Universe. Stating that without them there would be no animals and his zoos among many other things! He yells at them asking how could you not cheer for a guy like me who wants to save the world! it wasn’t long until The Punjabi Playboy’s music hit and The Great Khali probably got the best crowd reaction of his career! The two went on to have a pretty good match when Khali was in control. Khali may not be the greatest wrestler, but Cj Parker sure can sell his moves, because every time Khali hit Parker it looked like it hurt. From stiff Open Handed Slaps to the Chest to a Huge Boot to the Face! Parker got a little bit of offense in but not much! Khali caught Parker off guard while he was in mid air with a huge chop and followed up with A HUGE Khali Bomb to put away Cj Parker!

Winner – The Great Khali

Rating – 5\10: They made it work tonight. No one expected a perfect match! Khali is not the best wrestler and will never be the best wrestler with the condition his knees are in. Parker and Khali worked with what they had. Khali and be a believable wrestler when he is dominate, its when Khali has to sell the moves when the match gets sloppy! Parker made Khali looks good tonight and honestly gave Khali one of the better matches of his career. I guarantee Khali will remember this night, not only did he have one of his better matches of his career, but he probably got the best crowd reaction of his career. The fact that the NXT Universe Hates Parker really elevated Khali’s popularity, add to the fact he is a familiar face! He got chants from Better Than Batista to Let’s Go Khali! So tonight was a Feel Good Moment for The Great Khali!

Backstage Exclusive W/ Emma

Emma is asked if she has found a partner for her match next week against The BFF’s. Emma admits she has not found a partner, but than a slick smile and says “Or Have I?” as she giggles and walks away!

Backstage Exclusive W/ Sami Zayn

Sami Zayn is asked about his injury, Zayn says he feels fine and that Graves caught him off guard, and he doesn’t want to question the ref’s call, but he believes he could of hung in their, but says he will get his revenge next week when he teams with the WWE Tag Team Champions, The Usos, to takes on Corey Graves and The NXT Tag Team Champions, The Ascension! So that should be fun, Zayn also goes on to state that he doesn’t like Corey Graves, he doesn’t like the kind of person Graves is and says Corey is the kind of guy who needs to be put in his place and the The Usos can expect him to be 100% next week. I’m excited for this match! This is going to be a GREAT match! I can’t wait for next week!

Jason Jordan & Tye Dillinger vs. Sawyer Fulton & Baron Corbin

Only Jason Jordan and Tye Dillinger get an entrance here tonight, one would assume their opponents are going to be jobbers, but I don’t know a thing about Jordan or Dillinger. I’m assuming this is their debut witch is great! because The NXT is desperate for more Tag Teams! Jason Jordan is in the ring first with Baron Corbin who is making his debut on The WWE Network tonight! I got to admit, Corbin has got an interesting look! He is a big guy but not your typical Big Guy! I think we may have something here, I hope to see more from him, because even though I thought Fulton and Corbin were going to be jobbers tonight they both looked pretty impressive! Early on Jordan took it to Corbin, but once Dillinger got tagged in things went down hill as Corbin hit Tyler with some impressive heavy strikes and he showed great team work with Sawyer Fulton who gives off this creepy vibe as he beats down on Dillinger, but Tyler managed to tag in Jason Jordan who rushed in and turns things around as he takes is to Fulton, and rushed over to dropkick Corbin off the apron and than tags in Dillinger and hits a impressive shoulder tackle into Fulton’s gut and than lifts him up onto his shoulders as he and Tye hit a Impressive maneuver that kind of resembled of DDT! but Tye covered Fulton for the three!

Winners – Jason Jordan & Tye Dillinger

Rating – 7\10: A Great debut match for both teams tonight! Although I don’t think eithier team would put up a believable threat to the current Tag Champs, but both teams looked impressive here tonight. Jason Jordan and Tye Dillinger sort of reminded me of Shelton Benjamin and Charlie Haas when they were as team known as The World’s Greatest Team or Team Angle! Jason defiantly resembles Benjamin as he his fast and can hit an impressive drop kick mimicking the height Shelton could reach. I can’t honestly say if Dillinger reminds me of Haas though since he received the beat down, but he does look that part. Baron Corbin really caught my eye. He is an impressive superstar he has the big guy feel to him and he certainly hits some heavy strikes, but I have a feeling he is going to need a mouth piece, Fulton on the other hand may not. Just like Corbin Fulton was always pretty impressive in the match up, he had an old school beat him up mentality and he definitely gives off a weird vibe! He could potentially have some skills on the microphone. It is clear we are going to see more of Jason Jordan and Tye Dillinger but I hope we see more of Baron Corbin and Sawyer Fulton as well, because these two teams will be great additions to NXT Desperate Tag Division!

Brodus Clay vs. Adrian Neville (c)

It is now time for our main event! Brodus Clay has made it clear that he is a changed man and he does not want to dance anymore! All Brodus Clay wants to do his win the NXT Championship, of course the current World Champion Adrian Neville has a no problem with Clay winning The Championship, but he is going to have to beat him for it, but before he gets a title shot he has to earn it, and tonight is Brodus’s  chance to earn a Title Shot. Early on Neville tried to bump chest with Brodus, but Clay quickly pushed Neville back and Neville rolled back and fired back with  quick forearm to the jaw of Clay! That was about it for Neville, as Brodus quickly turned things around on Neville and kept him locked in numerous submission holds while talking smack to Neville. The Champ manged to break out of Clay’s headlock, after hitting some stiff kicks to Brodus’s sides and than following up with a Jaw Breaker! Neville pulled Clay with all his strength closer to the turnbuckle and he climbed to the top and went for the 450 Splash but Clay moved out of the way, lucky for Neville he manged to land on his feet on roll away from Clay. The two charged at each other and Clay hit a ferocious Head Butt! Brodus went on to beat up on the champ on the out side of the ring and even hit a Scoop Slam on the outside of the ring. Brodus was looking to end Neville when he climbed to the highest point of the steel steps and went for his splash onto Neville, but The Champion manged to move out of the way and get in the ring before the ten count causing Brodus to land right on his face on the outside, but lose by count out!

Winner – Adrian Neville (c)

Rating – 6\10: Brodus manged to show off his strength and also bore us with to many submissions, but watching the NXT Champion prevail once again is great! and the neat thing about Neville is he doesn’t fit your typical defy the odds champion. Its not like Neville comes back and hits his 5 moves and than hits his finisher! Perfect evidence is tonight! Neville could of put Clay away with the 450, but they chose to got a different way and still make it seem like their is a chance Brodus can beat Neville. These two are no where close to being done as evident to after the match how upset Brodus was as he tried to charge the ring, but The Champion landed and perfect Drop Kick to send Brodus packing to the back!

Superstar of the Night – Camacho

I can’t believe I’m awarding this to Camacho of all people! I have commented on Camacho’s horrible matches in the past, but tonight there was something different. It may have been a dominating performance, but he wasn’t sloppy and his moves looked good. He picked up a victory over a returning and debuting Oliver Gray tonight. All the attention was on Gray and everyone expected a victory. Camacho surprised us all as he pulled out the best match of his career in my opinion and picked up an impressive victory over former NXT Tag Team Champion, Oliver Gray. It seems Camacho wants revenge on Adam Rose for embarrassing him a couple weeks ago in their match, and with all the attention on Rose’s debut to the WWE Main Roster, Camacho could greatly benefit in this feud. For the first time ever things are looking up for Camacho!

Tonight, no one really stood out. Honestly this wasn’t the best NXT! With Bo really being in the only match that wasn’t practically a squash, he was really the only one qualified. Along with this change to his character and his debut in the WWE coming up things are looking up for Bo Dallas. Just goes to show what happens when you Don’t Stop Bo-Lieving!
