It’s Time to Join Notaker on His Journey of “Genesis”

After receiving Notaker’s first single “Who I Am” earlier this month, we have been impatiently waiting for this release. Now it’s time we close out October with the full EP, Genesis. Notaker has been rather busy and is quickly being noticed, as this track is being released with Armada Captivating. Fantastic record label, but it just keeps being better. Notaker’s style, reminiscence of superstars such as Deadmau5 and Hans Zimmer, will be nailed his next release over on mau5trap. 2017 sure has been Notaker’s year and it won’t be calming down anytime soon. Keep it up Notaker…we will be waiting.

Oh Genesis, we have been waiting for you. A digital device designed to warp your sense of space and time, Notaker invites you to take a journey on the wings of this beast he calls Genesis. The EP consists of five tracks, each mixed and mastered to flow seamlessly into each other to create a sense of awe that music does so well. Whether it be soothing yet distant vocals, atmospheric/ambient beats, or the electronic synths, some element is going to capture and entrance you into taking the journey. While our personal favorite track is “Just Close Your Eyes”, we could pick any of the five to play on repeat.

TRACK LISTING:

  1. “Just Close Your Eyes”
  2. “Who I Am”
  3. “So Much Love”
  4. “Wake Up, You’re Dreaming”
  5. “Terra”

Make sure you give Genesis a full listen here:

Monstercat: Notaker Releases Lead Single from New Genesis EP “Who I Am” Ft. Karra

Oh, thankfully you came back Notaker, we were worried. On this humble Tuesday we have brought you the latest from Notaker, one of our favorite producers to cover here at MiR. This time he brings us “Who I Am”, a traditional Notaker track but with a progressive trance vibe.

Notaker, you can weave in and out of styles better than most, and we applaud you for that skill. Creating a progressive trance feel, “Who I Am” is the result of a major collaboration, notching another win in Notaker’s belt. Notaker enlisted the help of fellow producer Declan James, who brought just a few of his cinematic synths with him. The duo also grabbed the attention/skills of vocalist Karra, who adds plenty of emotion to the track with her vocal work. “Who I Am” is the lead single off of Notaker’s upcoming EP Genesis, out on October 24th. The rest of the EP better be just as good as this single Notaker…take it as a challenge.

Be sure to give “Who I Am” a full listen here:

MUSIC ENHANCED: Cuebrick Ft. KARRA “Smoke & Fire”

At some moments the best kind of music can be created when a professional and fresh talent collaborate. Both members of the Enhanced Recordings label, we take a listen to the first collaboration between iconic Enhanced producer Cuebrick and Enhanced regular KARRA. This release is just another mark in their respective catalogs, as both artists have had a busy year so far. KARRA was featured on a number of successful hits in 2016 with Breathe Carolina, Metrik, and Unlike Pluto. Cuebrick hasn’t been quite though, as he has gained support from many EDM powerhouses such as Tiesto and Armin van Buuren.

However, “Smoke & Fire” is definitely a showcase of Cuebrick’s wide range of abilities. Featuring the vocal talents of performing artists KARRA, the track is intricate in design and flows between different levels with ease. As it flows you can hear the differences in genre and style, which only showcases Cuebrick’s raw ability to be able to take the best elements from multiple genres and mash them together. Whether it is as simple as the percussion or the intricacy of expert vocal work, Cuebrick can definitely make some magic.
