WWE NXT|5-15-14| Triple Threat!

Hello my friends and welcome to my review of May fifteenth’s edition of NXT! Tonight’s advertised Main Event is a Triple Threat Match for the Number One Contendership for the NXT Championship! After the events that took place last week after the battle royal, Tyler Breeze, Sami Zayn and Tyson Kidd all face each other in our main event to find out who will face our NXT World Champion, Adrian Neville at NXT: Takeover!

The Ascension (c) |Konner O’Brian & Rick Viktor| vs. Buddy Murphy and Elias Sampson.

There really isn’t a point to review this match! Once again a bunch of jobbers are thrown at at the champs! So let’s just make this short so I can get to my thoughts on this match! The Ascension wins the match after hitting The Fall of Man on Murphy to win the match.

Winners – The Ascension (c)

Rating – 5|10: I feel bad giving this match anything below a five. Konner and Viktor are very impressive performers! but there match are just becoming more and more predictable! I thought when I saw this new Tag Division forming, I got excited the finally The Ascension were going to get some challenges, but the other teams need time to develop so until than The Ascension still needs to look good! but week after week after week after week its the same thing! Konner and Viktor just dominating their opponents! William Regal said it best after the match, “I want to see The Ascension challenged.” and so do I, but if this is what I keep getting, than their ranking is going to keep getting lower and lower and I’m going to become uninterested! Luckily after the match, Konner picked up the microphone so let’s see what he has to say!

After Match Promo!

Konner grabs to mic and states that He and Viktor have mowed through everyone put in front of them, than Viktor grabbed the mic and simply said “Give Us Something New to Destroy!” and everything I just said, The Ascension agrees! Theme music plays in the background and we see Kalisto and El Local! El Local gets on the mic and states they have never faced them, but once they do the only thing The Ascension would hear is “Lucha, Lucha, Lucha”  as Kalisto said! So it looks like the new team of Luchadores is the number one contenders! I’m not sure how the match will be, but this is the closest thing to a challenge The Ascension has had! but just for future reference, I know they don’t have much of a choice, since Kalisto most likely only speaks Spanish, but to have El Local do the talking may be a mistake! I mean it’s pretty obvious that its Ricardo Rodriquez! Maybe a manger is best for them! But hopefully this is the challenge we have been looking for!

Backstage Interview W/Sami Zayn

Instead of Devin Taylor this time, instead a new interview named Veronica is in the back ready to interview one of the men who will be in the triple threat match tonight, Sami Zayn! She asks Zayn about the match tonight! Zayn talks about his past obsession with earning Cesaro’s respect, he even talks about how he failed to capture the NXT title at one point! Zayn points out that both Breeze and Kidd are at the top of the game right now, but Zayn says his new obsession is the NXT Title!

Round Two of the NXT Womens Championship Tournament.

Alexa Bliss vs. Charlotte W/Sasha Banks

Before we start this match off, it is announced that Tyler Breeze is in the building, but now we start Round Two of the tournament to crown our new NXT Womens Champion. The daughter of Ric Flair, Charlotte defeated Emma to earn her spot and the rookie, Alexa Bliss  upset former Divas Champion, Alicia Fox in her debut match! Now the two face each other off to determine who will challenge the winner of Sasha Banks and Natalya for the Womens Championship! Last week, despite being dominated by Fox, Bliss pulled out the upset win! One would think that her and Charlotte are on even levels, but if you were to think that, than you haven’t been watching! Charlotte has been very dominate in this tournament! She is the heavy favorite, and once again Bliss found herself dominated! Charlotte held Bliss in many submission moves that I’ll even admit, it looked like it hurt! Bliss tried to catch Charlotte off guard with a pin just as she did to Fox! but Charlotte just kept taking it to Bliss and pinned her for the three when she hit, Bow To The Queen!

Winner – Charlotte

Rating – 5\10: Lighting could not strike twice tonight! Bliss just did not compare to Charlotte and I hope she isn’t going to be buried the way she has been! Bliss is new, and she needs to look like she can compete, but she doesn’t! The two times we have seen Bliss in the ring she has gotten little to know offense in both matches. Sadly tonight she could not catch Charlotte off guard like she did to Ms. Fox last week! Charlotte on the other hand is still the heavy favorite win! We now know for sure that at NXT: Take Over Charlotte will either face Natalya or her Tag Team Partner Sasha Banks with the NXT Womens Title on the line!

Backstage Exclusive W/Tyler Breeze

Tyler Breeze is backstage, but no is there to interview him! Instead Breeze is making a video all by himself. He starts off by listing his many names! Than states in order to be a champion not only do you need to do whatever it takes, but you have to be gorgeous! You than states both Kidd and Zayn are boring! and from Canada where no one is beautiful, He says it’s a country full of Micheal Cera’s! Breeze states that Zayn and Kidd won’t do whatever it takes, but he will! This has to be one of the best promos Breeze has ever put on! He has been very impressive ever since I stated watching NXT, and he is definitely improving on the skills he needed to!

Mojo Rawley vs. Aiden English

Two weeks ago when Mojo Rawley defeated Oliver Grey, English came down and expressed how he is tired of Mojo and demanded he get out of his ring. Aiden rushed in, but Mojo quickly got rid of him! Tonight the two settle their issues in this match here tonight! Regal, who is a huge fan of Aiden, even expressed his worry for English! and he should because Mojo quickly ran at English and tossed him into the turnbuckle and hit him with some huge shoulder thrust! He continued to dominate English with a huge slam and even an impressive cross body! English did mange to get into control as he kept Mojo grounded with a Chin Lock, but that was bout it! Mojo managed to get out of the submission hold and hit a clothesline before tossing English back into the turnbuckle and hit him with a HUGE splash! Mojo followed up with a Rear End right to the face of English and he finished him off with Overdrive!

Winner – Mojo Rawley

Rating – 5\10: Honestly the matches have not been that great tonight. Aiden was the first challenge to Mojo and it didn’t even look like Mojo broke a sweat! Yes, English did get some offense in and some in better than none I guess! But I have a huge problem with Mojo! He is not ready to be in the ring! Tonight I wanted to see more from him, something he hasn’t shown me in his previous showing, but instead it was just the same thing! If WWE is serious about Mojo, they need to let him train more, because just like The Ascension, I’m getting tired of Mojo doing the same thing!

Backstage Exclusive W/Tyson Kidd

Kidd is asked by an unnamed man about his match later tonight! Kidd expresses that The Shield, The Wyatts and Big E are making noise on the main roster, and they are all from NXT! He says he believes in working hard and second chances and ends the interview by saying he will by World Champ!

Angelo Dawkins vs. Colin Cassady

Angelo Dawkins is already in the ring and dancing to his forgettable theme music, but a familiar theme plays over the loud speakers! and its his opponent Big Cass! I feel it is important to acknowledge that The commentators did say that Big Cass is now being looked at in a different light, and many believe he is a future NXT World Champ! Dawkins is another guy who I feel has an interesting look, but we don’t get to see much from him! Colin was very stiff tonight it seemed like! Colin his Dawkins with many hard hitting strikes, varying from knees to just straight punches! Despite the fact there is a match going on, CJ Parker manged to catch the audience’s attention as he walked around them with a sign that read “No More Xtra Toxins!” with the NXT logo being used as well, also on the back of the sign it read “This Sign is Recyclable.” Back in the match Colin Cassady is still dominated over Dawkins, but Angelo managed to hit an impressive drop kick, but as it seemed like he was getting back into the match Big Cass quickly shut him back down! Towards the end of the match Cass hit a massive Big Boot and than followed with East River Crossing to win the match!

Winner – Colin Cassady

Rating – 6\10: It’s great to hear that Big Cass is starting to get some attention, because I have felt for a long time that Colin has it! When I look at Cassady I see a future World Champion, and I’m not talking about the NXT title! Two superstars shined here tonight thought, and it wasn’t Angelo Dawkins! Despite the fact that CJ Parker was not even in the match, I believe he made the biggest impact! I’m not sure if a feud is in sorts here, but I’m glad to see both superstars looking good! Now if only Angelo can start looking good, because there is something about him that has me interested to see more!

Backstage segment W/ JBL & Bo Dallas

The General Manager of NXT is shown backstage texting, when the former NXT Champion, Bo Dallas walks up to him with a bunch of papers in his hands! Bo tells JBl that they are fan letters from his Bo-Leviers! He also tells Bradshaw that when he was talking to them on his Bo Hotline that they were demanding he get another shot. Bo than tells JBL that if he doesn’t add him to the triple threat match, that all the letters from his Bo-Leivers would go to JBL! JBL tells Bo he can’t give him something he doesn’t deserve, but he tells Bo that if he can beat his next opponent, he would get a title shot, but if Bo loses, he would leave NXT! Bo asks who is opponent is, and JBL gives him five guesses! Bo’s first guess was John Cena! JBL tells him he is wrong and doesn’t even let Bo guess the next 4 times and tells him that he will be facing Big E! Bo is excited about this match since Big E never beat him and he did beat Big E for the NXT World Title! Bo leaves his letters with JBL to end the segment!

Triple Threat Match for the Number One Contendership for the NXT Championship

Tyson Kidd vs. Tyler Breeze vs. Sami Zayn

All there superstars take awhile to get the match started, as they stand in a triangle and wait for their moment! Zayn and Kidd seemed like they were about to lock up, but Breeze went after Kidd. Tyson quickly counters and took it to both Breeze and Zayn with stiff kicks! Zayn manged to gain control and was able to toss Tyson into the turnbuckle after the two exchanged some strikes and as Zayn measured Kidd up for that Running Boot into the Turnbuckle, Breeze caught him off guard with a Beauty Shot while he was running! Tyler pinned Zayn, but Kidd was there to break it up! Kidd and Breeze began to fight with the two exchanging the advantage many times! Breeze was mostly in control, until Kidd got him on the outside! Kidd began to build up some steam and dive to the outside to take out Tyler Breeze, but he got his forearm up and Kidd went face first into it. Directly after that though Zayn built up some speed and did a Front Flip over the ropes onto Tyler Breeze, he than climbed to the top of the turnbuckle and hit Kidd with a Cross Body, but only got a two! The two continued to battle, Tyson managed to grab the legs of Zayn and lock him into The Sharpshooter, but as Zayn suffered in the middle of the ring, Tyler Breeze came to his rescue with a Super Kick to the side of the skull of Tyson! Breeze covered Kidd but only got a two! It was back and forth but once we got to the end it got crazy! Tyson Kidd climbed to the top of the turnbuckle and was looking for Blockbuster of Breeze, but Tyler once again hit Kidd with a forearm to the head, but the second he turned around Zayn connected with that Running Big Boot in the Turnbuckle! Zayn climbed to the top where Tyson was, but Kidd tossed him out of the ring and hit an Elbow Drop on Breeze! Zayn rushed in but was a second to late when Kidd pinned Breeze for the three.

Winner & New Number On Contender – Tyson Kidd

Rating – 8\10: I’ll be the first to admit that I don’t remember a whole lot from this match! A lot happened and I’m sure I missed some stuff! All three competitors went to war here tonight! All looked like they could of won at one point and they all looked good! We now know at NXT : Take Over, Adrian Neville will defend his NXT Championship against Tyson Kidd! and I for one am very excited for that match!

Superstar of the Night – Tyson Kidd.

Once again Tyson finds himself as the superstar of the night! Ever since Kidd has returned to NXT he has been very impressive. Picking up victories over Mason Ryan and Bo Dallas! and now beating both Sami Zayn and Tyler Breeze in a Triple Threat here tonight! Kidd was very impressive in his promo earlier and he made a great point when he mentioned how The Shield, The Wyatts and Big E are making an impact on the main roster and they all came from NXT! Now Kidd gets his first ever singles title shot in the WWE! Tyson said early tonight he will be NXT World Champion! and now it is very possible!

WWE NXT |4-24-14| For the Good of NXT?

Hello my friends and welcome to my review of April 24th’s edition of NXT! Tonight on NXT The NXT General Manger, John “Bradshaw” Layfield has an announcement regarding Paige’s NXT Womens Championship! Also the advertised main event of the night is WWE Tag Team Champions, The Usos teaming up with Sami Zayn to take on Corey Graves on The NXT Tag Team Champions, The Ascension in a Six Man Tag Match!

Backstage Segment with JBL and Paige (c)

JBL tells Paige he needs to talk to her about something. He takes notice of both the NXT Womens Championship and the WWE Divas Championship on Paige’s shoulder and says that’s a good problem to have, but sadly he has bad news. With Paige defending the Divas championship all over the world on Raw and Smackdown its not fair to NXT for her to be carrying the NXT title around. Paige at first declines and expresses that he is not going to take away what he has fought so hard for, Bradshaw goes on to explain he has set up a tournament to determine the next Womens Champ and expresses they have big shoes to fill, Paige reluctantly hands over the belt and says let the games begin. The honestly does not make sense to me, we have seen WWE Divas like Natalya and Summer Rae challenge for the NXT Womens Championship, what would of happened if they won? Would the strip them of it right away? I guess WWE want it to seem like Paige is unbeatable, but I would of preferred her take the loss and give another Diva a rub!

Alexander Rusev W/Lana vs. Travis Tyler

Lana comes out and hypes of Rusev in Russian, and than Rusev made his way to the ring, while Travis Tyler awaits him. Tyler got off and early dropkick, but that was about it! Rusev dominated Tyler with many hard hitting strikes and numerous slams, all while the crowd chanted many things starting with Adam Rose’s theme song and even The Iron Shiek while Rusev locked in The Accolade to pick him up the victory.

Winner – Alexander Rusev

Rating – 5\10: Just another typical jobber match we have grown accustomed so seeing. Rusev is now dominating WWE talent so it makes sense the Travis Tyler wouldn’t put up a fight. The WWE really wants to get Rusev over and its smart to show him off as much as they can on house shows and NXT. The crowd seemed kind of iffy on Rusev tonight. They didn’t to be to into the match, probably because they already knew the out come, but the USA chant towards the end shows Rusev is getting over, and WWE is accomplishing their mission

Backstage Interview W/ Adam Rose

Devin Taylor is standing by awaiting the arrival of Adam Rose as a party ensues behind her, Adam is carried in by four big guys, he shhs the party as he talks to Devin about Camacho and the comments he made toward Adam. Adam responds by calling Camacho at Party Pooper and says he is boring and even goes on to challenge Camacho and ends it off by telling him to not be a Lemon, but a Rose Bud!

The BFFs (Charlotte & Sasha Banks) vs. Emma & ???

Charlotte and Sasha make their way down to the ring, and next out is Emma, and than we await for her Mystery Tag Partner while we go to commercial, and after the commercial break, the match has already started and we see Emma’s tag team partner is The WWE Divas Champion and Now the Former NXT Divas Champion, Paige. Charlotte looked good tonight as she took it to both Paige and Emma here, Sasha also got some of her moves in, but honestly we did not get to see much from Emma or Paige. Charlotte locked in a Scissor Lock on Emma, as she wrapped her legs around Emma’s throat. Emma fought hard to get out and avoid a elbow drop from Charlotte, both Charlotte and Emma made a tag to their partners, and Paige began to take it to Sasha, and it looked like Paige was getting read to lock in her Scorpion Crosslock, but Charlotte rushed in a drop kicked the back of Paige’s leg while avoiding and tossing Emma to the outside of the ring. Sasha tagged in Charlotte and The Dirtiest Diva in the Game ran and hit Paige with the Front Flip DDT and covered The Divas Champion for the three!

Winners – The BFFs (Charlotte & Sasha Banks)

Rating – 6\10: It was kind of strange how we did not get to see Paige’ entrance. I was honestly surprised to see her, I thought Emma’s partner was going to be Baylee, Charlotte looked good her tonight as she took it to two of the WWE’s Main Roster Divas! I know who won’t be getting the Superstar of the Night Award tonight, Paige! Paige not only gave up her NXT Women’s Championship here tonight, but was pinned cleanly tonight by Charlotte. It would appear The Daughter of The Nature Boy is destined to become the NXT Womens Champion, and a victory over the current WWE Divas Champion and former NXT Womens Champion, makes her the heavy favorite to win the upcoming NXT Womens Championship Tournament

Tyson Kidd vs. Mason Ryan

Before this match, it was announced Tyson would be in action next, but I was not expecting his opponent to be Mason Ryan! Ryan has been building up quite an impressive list of victories in NXT, but Tyson Kidd has to be Mason’s toughest challenge yet. Mason dominated Kidd early on with his strength and counter Tyson every step of the way, but Kidd came back with his speed and high flying ability! Thew two went back in forth, but as the commentators pointed out Mason allowed Tyson to catch his breath and it came back to haunt him when Kidd moved out of the way and Ryan went chest first into the turnbuckle, Tyson climbed to the top of the turnbuckle and hit Ryan with a Front Flip Neck breaker for the three.

Winner – Tyson Kidd

Rating – 5\10: These two put on a decent match, but it wasn’t great! The mix between Ryan’s strength and Tyson’s speed made this match entertaining, as it was cool to see Tyson try to use his speed against Ryan, but Mason just countering him every step of the way. Renee Young joined Tyson on the entrance way and congratulated Tyson on the win and said it was great to have him back. Tyson hyped NXT and said with some many eyes on NXT ever since the launch of the WWE Network, NXT has had more eyes on it than ever before, and expresses that this is the re birth of Tyson Kidd! So it would seem like Kidd is going to use NXT to gain some popularity, and its not a bad idea we have seen Brodus Clay do it, so i’m excited for Tyson because he is a great talent and is sure to put on some great matches on NXT!

Angelo Dawkins vs. Tyler Breeze

This is the first time were getting a look at Angelo Dawkins, he has very generic theme music but he does have this interesting skater look to him, but out next is Prince Pretty, Tyler Breeze! Before the match starts we hear the crowd chanting Breeze is gorgeous! Dawkins get the early control on Breeze taking him down with the most basic of slams. Breeze made his way to the ropes witch forced Dawkins to let go, and Breeze his a cheap shot and led the rest of the match with numerous hard hitting strikes, along with a very long headlock. Breeze kept it entertaining though as he screamed “Don’t touch me” to Dawkins every time he touched him. Breeze than forced Dawkins up to his feet before hitting him with The Beauty Shot for the win!

Winner – Tyler Breeze

Rating – 4\10: Not really a good match here, it was honestly the most basic of matches possible. We saw beginner slams from Dawkins, some punches from Breeze along with a headlock and The Beauty Shot. I know Tyler has more in him, but it seems he is on the beat jobber path right now as it would seem like creative has nothing for him to do. I don’t know if Dawkins is still green or not, but I would like to see more from him to be honest, because his look really caught my eye!

Brodus Clay Highlight

We are shown the match from last week between Clay and NXT World Champion, Adrian Neville, it would appear backstage Brodus Clay attacked Adrian Neville backstage and Neville actually lost teeth. I don’t know if he had fake teeth there, but there were teeth on the ground and Neville was missing theme, than again now that I think about it he wasn’t bleeding, so maybe he really is missing his teeth there or just has fake ones, but either way Brodus was made to look like a threat, even though he suffered a loss to Neville!

Corey Graves & The Ascension (c) (Konner O’Brian & Rick Viktor) vs. Sami Zayn & The Usos (c) (Jimmy & Jey Uso)

It is now time for our main event out first was Corey Graves and he was followed by the NXT Tag Team Champions, The Ascension, and than their opponents, first was Sami Zayn and than the WWE Tag Team Champion, The Usos! We start off with One of the Usos along with Rick Viktor! The two traded blows, but it was The Uso who got the advantage on Viktor, until Graves tagged himself in. Zayn begged to get in the match, and The Uso tagged him in, but Graves avoided Zayn and tagged on Konner. Konner dominated Zayn, before Graves once again tagged himself in. Zayn began to take it to Graves and eventually tagged in Jey Uso. Jey was taking it to Graves, but Corey was able to land a shoulder block to the leg of Uso and tagged in Konner, and both Konner and Viktor traded tags as the took turns beating down on Jey. Jey Uso had many close calls to tag in his partners, but The Ascension and Corey Graves made it priority to keep Jey in. Jey did however finally make the tag to his brother Jimmy after quickly crawling through the legs of Viktor, and things began to look good for the Usos and Zayn. Graves eventually got the tag and this is where things began to heat up and Sami was able to tag himself in without Graves noticing and caught Corey off guard with a huge Cross Body and almost picked up the victory, he than went for the running boot into the turnbuckle, but Graves managed to move out of the way but he couldn’t rest for long as Zayn hit an impressive power bomb on Graves and almost picked up the victory but Te Ascension rushed in and broke up the pin. One of The Usos and Zayn took The Ascension out of the equation and Zayn ran at Corey and hit him with The Big Boot in the Turnbuckle, One of the Usos tagged himself in while Zayn and the Other Uso jumped over the ropes to the outside to take out The Ascension while The Legal Uso in the ring hit Corey Graves with The Splash from the top rope to pick up the win!

Winner – The Usos (c) & Sami Zayn

Rating – 7\10: I’ve been saying for weeks I want to see The Ascension get challenged and finally a challenge is put before them. Not only did they have to take on the impressive Sami Zayn, but also took on The Current WWE Tag Team Champions, Jimmy & Jey Uso! It was hard hitting and back and forth. Both teams had their chance to shine, and we may have gotten a preview of a future rivalry over the WWE Tag Titles between The Usos and The Ascension! It’s not often The Tag Champs taste to defeat so it will be interesting to see how they respond to that! On the other side, the rivalry between Sami Zayn and Corey Graves has yet another chapter added to it, as Zayn was able to get some well deserve revenge on Corey Graves!

Superstar of the Night – Tyson Kidd

Tonight NXT didn’t really have much of a pop! The only real big announcement is that Paige is no longer the NXT Womens Champion, but tonight we may have seen a new beginning for Tyson Kidd. Kidd has all the talent in the world and it deserves to be shown, and with NXT be more of a wrestling based show over Raw and Smackdown, this is the perfect place of Kidd. Tonight he picked up an impressive victory of Mason Ryan who is no easy match up. Hopefully Kidd NXT is the platform that finally shows The WWE Universe how good Tyson really is!

WWE NXT |4-17-14|- Oliver Gray Returns!

Hello my friends, and welcome to my review of April seventeenth edition of NXT! Tonight’s advertised main event match up puts Brodus Clay against NXT World Champion, Adrian Neville! Will Neville be able to shut Clay up? or Will Brodus back up everything he says! Let’s find out!

Colin Cassady vs. Aiden English

Starting off the night with a classic rivalry in NXT, as Big Cass takes on one of his more recent rivals Aiden English. Cass, still seems pretty over with the crowd, Whenever he spells out SAWFT, The spell it with him! I really feel we have a future World Champion and future Top Star in the WWE laying deep inside Colin Cassady! Of course Aiden English is no weakling. English took former WWE & World Heavyweight Champion, Shemaus to the limit a few weeks back! These two are perfect for each other. I’m sure both will go on to have greater rivalries with other superstars, but for both of them to be each others first rivalry, there is something special there! These two just honestly click! Tonight, they put on there best match to date. There rivalry was heavily highlighted, from the commentators talking about their past, to Aiden taunting and screaming at Colin during the match. The ending was fun as it showed both men have learned from their previous encounters as they countered each others finishing move, but as Big Cass looked to finish English off, English quickly rolled Cassady up and grabbed a handful of tights to guarantee him the victory!

Winner- Aiden English

Rating -7\10: A great opening match here tonight. I said before these two put on their best match together, as of this date! I’m excited to see how far this rivalry goes, and if it extends into another and maybe finds its way into a Championship feud. I feel both men are main event talents for NXT, but Once/If Aiden ever makes it to the main roster, he is going to have a hard time getting his character over, but as for Cass I feel if the WWE let’s Colin be himself you may have yourself the next Top Guy! Tonight though, English beats Cass again, but this time having the cheat to win and looks like these two are not done with each other yet.

Backstage Interview W/ Tyler Breeze

Devin Taylor is in the back to introduce Tyler Breeze, but Breeze shows her his phone and has her re-introduce him as a bunch of his nicknames. Devin than goes on to ask Breeze what he wanted to say to the NXT Universe since he requested this time, Breeze responded by saying, he had nothing to say and just though the show needed a little gorgeousness! An interesting promo, that honestly does little to nothing. The only thing I guess the accomplished was making sure Breeze is in the mind of everyone still, hopefully he is in action tonight!

A Highlight of the WWE Divas Champion & NXT Womens Champion – Paige

The highlight starts off just like all the rest, highlighting Paige in NXT, but this time they showed of her surprise victory over Aj Lee for the Divas Championship. We see all the WWE Divas congratulating Paige and hugging her as Paige cries tears of joy over accomplishing her dream! It was a great package that really made a big deal about Paige, and honestly she is a pretty big deal. Paige is the same age as me, 21 years old, and she is already become Not Only the very First  NXT Womens Champion but the longest reigning NXT Womens Champion! and she is still going! and than she wins the Divas Championship from the longest reigning Divas Champion, Aj Lee, in her debut match on the night after Raw! Paige is going to be a big deal in the Divas Division for a long, long time! and WWE would make a mistake letting her go in the future over stupid like age or how old she looks! After the Video, Paige is interviewed about her historical debut, Paige cuts this promo that admittedly wasn’t that great, but Paige kind of reminded us why it didn’t matter! During her promo she said that the WWE Universe doesn’t need to know who Paige is, they just need to know what I do in the ring! and admittedly she may not be the best on the mic, but she makes up for it in the ring. In her promo though she did sound a little cocky, so maybe all the fame and success is going to her head?

Camacho vs. Oliver Gray

Hunico’s music plays, but I guess it’s Camacho’s now! but yea he came out, and than Oliver Gray came out making his debut on the WWE Network and his return from almost a year long injury, and this mini feud between these two started off last week, when Camacho interrupted Gray’s interview, to call out Adam Rose, Gray insulted by this challenged Camacho to match! I’m excited to see what Oliver Gray is like, because I have never seen him in action! but surprisingly tonight, it was Camacho who surprised me the most. Camacho dominated majority of the match as Gray got in little to no offense. Camacho looked really good tonight as well! A lot smother in the ring and his punches, kicks and slams look cleaner. I don’t know if Camacho has been training or just worked his ass of tonight, but he needs to do more of that, because he looked really good tonight! Camacho picked up the victory after hitting Gray with a huge slam!

Winner – Camacho

Rating – 6\10: I can’t believe I’m actually saying it, but Camacho had a good match tonight, its the best match I’ve ever seen from him. It seems like Camacho is going to be Adam Rose’s first real challenge and the returning Oliver Gray was his first victim! Camacho showed a more aggressive side tonight and looked 100 times better in the ring tonight than he has any other night! A bit sad to see Gray lose his first match back, but lets see how this plays out. His old Tag Team partner is not the NXT World Champion. So maybe Gray and Neville will rekindle their friendship, or even better, Tear It Apart!

Backstage Interview W/ Bo Dallas

Devin Taylor is backstage with the former NXT World Champion, Bo Dallas, to talk about his failed attempt to occupy NXT! Bo admits it was a failed attempt, but brags about how is Bo-Leivers are Law Abiding Citizens, and event though they wanted to support him, they couldn’t because it was against the Law! Bo than states it is his mission to get the NXT Championship back, and poses! Devin begins to walk away, but Bo stops her and tells her to Don’t Stop Bo-Leiving! Even thought Bo is huge on NXT! I fear for him in WWE, I don’t know how the WWE Universe is going to take his character, and if he can’t shine in a already packed mid-card than he will fail just as fast as he did on his first run on the main roster! I hope I’m wrong thought!

The Ascension (c) ( Konner O’Brian & Rick Viktor) vs. Wesley Blake & Cal Bishop

I expect this to be a one sided beat down, so before I start the match breakdown, I though it would be interesting to note that this is actually the first time Wesley Blake is in a Tag Match on NXT, the commentators stated that, and this also may be Blake’s last tag team match for awhile. Early on Blake hit Konner with some stiff chops, but Konner ate it and dished out his own beat down on Blake, before tagging in Viktor, who took Blake to the outside of the ring and hit him with non stop European Uppercuts and Chops to the Chest! Rick Viktor tossed Blake back into the ring and tagged in Konner who began to hit numerous stiff Toe Kicks to the gut of Blake that ever earned a One More Time Chant from the NXT Universe, which Konner so graciously provided! He than tagged Viktor back in who raced in and took Bishop out, and than he and Konner stalked Wesley in the ring as the set him up and hit him with The Fall of Man to pick up yet another win!

Winners – The Ascension (c)

Rating – 6\10: Even thought I’m ready to see The Ascension in some serious action against some serious competitors, they still manage to make their beat downs entertaining. Unlike most beat downs, The Ascension keeps it different. They don’t beat their opponents the same way every time! The only thing that stays the same is The Finish! but the actual matches are all different, and I appreciate that! but still I’m ready to see the Tag Champs taken to the limit! Either NXT needs more Tag Teams! or WWE needs to call these men up!

Backstage Interview W/ The BFF’s (Sasha Banks & Charlotte)

Devin Taylor is backstage to interview The Beautiful Fierce Females! Devin makes not of Sasha’s back to back losses to both Emma and Bayley! Sasha begins to make up some excuse, when Charlotte comes in and says Sasha just lost! Charlotte goes on to say she is going to rule this entire Divas Division, and next week her and Sasha have a tag match against Emma and her partner of choice, The two than go on to joke about how Emma has no friends, but Charlotte quickly stops the laughing and snaps at Sasha and than goes on to say this company needs a Diva with a little more Flair, and obvious pun on her last name, but I gotta say for the first time ever, we see some dissension between The BFF’s! Charlotte obviously thinks she is better than every diva including Sasha Banks, and I’ll be watching next week to see what happens. We may have a split on our way, but it may be to early!

Cj Parker vs. The Great Khali

Parker comes out first, and it is no secret that the crowd hates him! Parker makes his way down to the ring to boos, but there was one little girl out there dancing with him! Parker went on to cut a promo about how he would prefer to live in a world without the NXT Universe. Stating that without them there would be no animals and his zoos among many other things! He yells at them asking how could you not cheer for a guy like me who wants to save the world! it wasn’t long until The Punjabi Playboy’s music hit and The Great Khali probably got the best crowd reaction of his career! The two went on to have a pretty good match when Khali was in control. Khali may not be the greatest wrestler, but Cj Parker sure can sell his moves, because every time Khali hit Parker it looked like it hurt. From stiff Open Handed Slaps to the Chest to a Huge Boot to the Face! Parker got a little bit of offense in but not much! Khali caught Parker off guard while he was in mid air with a huge chop and followed up with A HUGE Khali Bomb to put away Cj Parker!

Winner – The Great Khali

Rating – 5\10: They made it work tonight. No one expected a perfect match! Khali is not the best wrestler and will never be the best wrestler with the condition his knees are in. Parker and Khali worked with what they had. Khali and be a believable wrestler when he is dominate, its when Khali has to sell the moves when the match gets sloppy! Parker made Khali looks good tonight and honestly gave Khali one of the better matches of his career. I guarantee Khali will remember this night, not only did he have one of his better matches of his career, but he probably got the best crowd reaction of his career. The fact that the NXT Universe Hates Parker really elevated Khali’s popularity, add to the fact he is a familiar face! He got chants from Better Than Batista to Let’s Go Khali! So tonight was a Feel Good Moment for The Great Khali!

Backstage Exclusive W/ Emma

Emma is asked if she has found a partner for her match next week against The BFF’s. Emma admits she has not found a partner, but than a slick smile and says “Or Have I?” as she giggles and walks away!

Backstage Exclusive W/ Sami Zayn

Sami Zayn is asked about his injury, Zayn says he feels fine and that Graves caught him off guard, and he doesn’t want to question the ref’s call, but he believes he could of hung in their, but says he will get his revenge next week when he teams with the WWE Tag Team Champions, The Usos, to takes on Corey Graves and The NXT Tag Team Champions, The Ascension! So that should be fun, Zayn also goes on to state that he doesn’t like Corey Graves, he doesn’t like the kind of person Graves is and says Corey is the kind of guy who needs to be put in his place and the The Usos can expect him to be 100% next week. I’m excited for this match! This is going to be a GREAT match! I can’t wait for next week!

Jason Jordan & Tye Dillinger vs. Sawyer Fulton & Baron Corbin

Only Jason Jordan and Tye Dillinger get an entrance here tonight, one would assume their opponents are going to be jobbers, but I don’t know a thing about Jordan or Dillinger. I’m assuming this is their debut witch is great! because The NXT is desperate for more Tag Teams! Jason Jordan is in the ring first with Baron Corbin who is making his debut on The WWE Network tonight! I got to admit, Corbin has got an interesting look! He is a big guy but not your typical Big Guy! I think we may have something here, I hope to see more from him, because even though I thought Fulton and Corbin were going to be jobbers tonight they both looked pretty impressive! Early on Jordan took it to Corbin, but once Dillinger got tagged in things went down hill as Corbin hit Tyler with some impressive heavy strikes and he showed great team work with Sawyer Fulton who gives off this creepy vibe as he beats down on Dillinger, but Tyler managed to tag in Jason Jordan who rushed in and turns things around as he takes is to Fulton, and rushed over to dropkick Corbin off the apron and than tags in Dillinger and hits a impressive shoulder tackle into Fulton’s gut and than lifts him up onto his shoulders as he and Tye hit a Impressive maneuver that kind of resembled of DDT! but Tye covered Fulton for the three!

Winners – Jason Jordan & Tye Dillinger

Rating – 7\10: A Great debut match for both teams tonight! Although I don’t think eithier team would put up a believable threat to the current Tag Champs, but both teams looked impressive here tonight. Jason Jordan and Tye Dillinger sort of reminded me of Shelton Benjamin and Charlie Haas when they were as team known as The World’s Greatest Team or Team Angle! Jason defiantly resembles Benjamin as he his fast and can hit an impressive drop kick mimicking the height Shelton could reach. I can’t honestly say if Dillinger reminds me of Haas though since he received the beat down, but he does look that part. Baron Corbin really caught my eye. He is an impressive superstar he has the big guy feel to him and he certainly hits some heavy strikes, but I have a feeling he is going to need a mouth piece, Fulton on the other hand may not. Just like Corbin Fulton was always pretty impressive in the match up, he had an old school beat him up mentality and he definitely gives off a weird vibe! He could potentially have some skills on the microphone. It is clear we are going to see more of Jason Jordan and Tye Dillinger but I hope we see more of Baron Corbin and Sawyer Fulton as well, because these two teams will be great additions to NXT Desperate Tag Division!

Brodus Clay vs. Adrian Neville (c)

It is now time for our main event! Brodus Clay has made it clear that he is a changed man and he does not want to dance anymore! All Brodus Clay wants to do his win the NXT Championship, of course the current World Champion Adrian Neville has a no problem with Clay winning The Championship, but he is going to have to beat him for it, but before he gets a title shot he has to earn it, and tonight is Brodus’s  chance to earn a Title Shot. Early on Neville tried to bump chest with Brodus, but Clay quickly pushed Neville back and Neville rolled back and fired back with  quick forearm to the jaw of Clay! That was about it for Neville, as Brodus quickly turned things around on Neville and kept him locked in numerous submission holds while talking smack to Neville. The Champ manged to break out of Clay’s headlock, after hitting some stiff kicks to Brodus’s sides and than following up with a Jaw Breaker! Neville pulled Clay with all his strength closer to the turnbuckle and he climbed to the top and went for the 450 Splash but Clay moved out of the way, lucky for Neville he manged to land on his feet on roll away from Clay. The two charged at each other and Clay hit a ferocious Head Butt! Brodus went on to beat up on the champ on the out side of the ring and even hit a Scoop Slam on the outside of the ring. Brodus was looking to end Neville when he climbed to the highest point of the steel steps and went for his splash onto Neville, but The Champion manged to move out of the way and get in the ring before the ten count causing Brodus to land right on his face on the outside, but lose by count out!

Winner – Adrian Neville (c)

Rating – 6\10: Brodus manged to show off his strength and also bore us with to many submissions, but watching the NXT Champion prevail once again is great! and the neat thing about Neville is he doesn’t fit your typical defy the odds champion. Its not like Neville comes back and hits his 5 moves and than hits his finisher! Perfect evidence is tonight! Neville could of put Clay away with the 450, but they chose to got a different way and still make it seem like their is a chance Brodus can beat Neville. These two are no where close to being done as evident to after the match how upset Brodus was as he tried to charge the ring, but The Champion landed and perfect Drop Kick to send Brodus packing to the back!

Superstar of the Night – Camacho

I can’t believe I’m awarding this to Camacho of all people! I have commented on Camacho’s horrible matches in the past, but tonight there was something different. It may have been a dominating performance, but he wasn’t sloppy and his moves looked good. He picked up a victory over a returning and debuting Oliver Gray tonight. All the attention was on Gray and everyone expected a victory. Camacho surprised us all as he pulled out the best match of his career in my opinion and picked up an impressive victory over former NXT Tag Team Champion, Oliver Gray. It seems Camacho wants revenge on Adam Rose for embarrassing him a couple weeks ago in their match, and with all the attention on Rose’s debut to the WWE Main Roster, Camacho could greatly benefit in this feud. For the first time ever things are looking up for Camacho!

Tonight, no one really stood out. Honestly this wasn’t the best NXT! With Bo really being in the only match that wasn’t practically a squash, he was really the only one qualified. Along with this change to his character and his debut in the WWE coming up things are looking up for Bo Dallas. Just goes to show what happens when you Don’t Stop Bo-Lieving!
