Newcomers Antoine Delvig & SOVTH Release High-Energy “Gravity” on Protocol

Alright, everyone, it’s time for our weekly dose of Protocol. This week we are checking out “Gravity”, the latest from two of Protocol’s newest artists to join their lineup Antoine Delvig and SOVTH. While both acts are only at the beginning of their careers, both are rising up the Protocol ranks relatively quickly. Delvig has been releasing multiple tracks on Axtone and STMPD, while also earning a spot to perform at this year’s Protocol Miami showcase. On the other hand, SOVTH has received plenty of buzz from his last release “Boogie Monstah” and was featured on Protocol’s Miami Vibes EP this year.

While the two have initially clashing music styles, it absolutely intriguing to see these two artists collaborate and clash with each other.  The result is a fantastic party-starting banger that also feels like we are forced to move to the center of the crowd and become absolutely crazy. “Gravity” is full of pure energy and will drive you to match its energy to a tee and rather quickly or you will be left in the dust.  Definitely be on the lookout for more from these two and stay tuned to MiR to keep yourselves updated!

Make sure you check out “Gravity” below!

NEXT UP FROM PROTOCOL: Dutch Producer Sam Void’s “On My Mind”

Man, can we just call it right now, that Nicky Romero’s label Protocol Recordings sure knows how to pick their artists? Today we are coming with the newest from Protocol, which is Sam Void’s latest release “On My Mind”. Just on of many successful releases from the Void, who just launched upon the scene in 2015, “On My Mind” easily puts Void in the main section of Protocol’s roster. We plan to hear plenty more from Void in the near future as he settles and makes himself at home in Protocol Studios.

Now “On My Mind” is the perfect track to showcase just what the world likes about Void and his music. The track highlights Void’s blend of styles from both the progressive house and electro genres, which often results in this almost neo-funk beat that we are treated to. With an obviously disco-inspired melody and addictively feel-good vocals, we can’t help to sing along. We may have plenty on our mind, but at least we can groove at the same time.

Be sure to give “On My Mind” a full listen below:

Italian Duo MAXIMALS Release “Enigma”, 2nd Single With Protocol

protocol_pr077_cover

Hey all! We sure have been covering quite a bit of music here haven’t we? Well surprise, it doesn’t stop now. While MAXIMALS and the modern dance scene are still trying to work out the kinks, this doesn’t limit their influence. The Italian duo has already introduced themselves with their first Protocol release “Dancin'”, and the more they create the more familiar they will be with audiences. We here at MiR have to agree with Protocol Recordings founder Nicky Romero, who stated that MAXIMALS is one of the duos to watch in 2017.

Now, it’s about time we moved on down to the track itself. “Enigma” is the 2nd release from MAXIMALS on Protocol, so while their style isn’t new to us it sure as hell is refreshing. Easily a solid example of blending two rather distinct genres, “Enigma” showcases the raw style MAXIMALS has with a 70’s disco beat mixed with modern house elements. Not only that, the track will easily fill the dance floors in any modern day club despite the retro sound. “Enigma” is definitely one for the people.

Be sure to listen to “Enigma” below!
