Prepare to be Deceived, Party Favor & Nonsens Trio Drop the Electro Trap “Gasoline”

When rather distinct styles like electro and trap clash in the studio, dancefloors will be set aflame. Heading on over to Area 25 we have “Gasoline”, the lastest from producers Party Favor and Nonsens. When you have the chance to work with someone like Party Favor, that is definitely not an opportunity that you turn down. With an impressive resume as a genre-bending artist and producer, Party Favor has seen plenty of glory with his multitude of original tracks such as “MDR” and “Give It To Me Twice”. Party Favor has even accomplished quite a bit as a producer for major artists like Lil Jon and ASAP Ferg, with all of his work earning him an impressive 135 million streams on Spotify.

Party Favor’s latest track, “Gasoline”, is not as innocent as it the intro makes it out to be. Party Favor’s recent hot streak with the likes of “Wasabi” and “Wait A Minute“, we know not to take one of his tracks on first listen. “Gasoline” appears to be a slow burn, keeping you complacent with a groovy instrumental beat and modified vocals to present the idea of an electro “Gasoline”. This doesn’t last long, however, as Party Favor knows exactly which knobs to twist to fit his production style. “Gasoline” quickly dissolves into a trap filled with a progressively harder drop and a bassline that evolves into a hard-hitting movement designed for you to lose your mind. While “Gasoline” may be a bit of a slow burn, it is a mere disguise to fool you.

Back From the 1980s, Party Favor & Salvatorre Ganacci Drop New Music Video For “Wasabi”

If we have learned anything about this artist in the past, it is he knows how to make odd music videos. This time we are stopping off at Area 25 for a brand new music video for Party Favor’s “Wasabi”.

Do you need some extra spice in your life? If so, you need to develop a taste of “Wasabi”. Originally featured back on Party Favor’s anticipated Layers album released earlier this year, Party Favor wanted to add an extra bit of oddness to entertain audiences. Inspired by iconic work out routines of the 1980s, the music video pairs several unique strangers who join in and follow an exercise to this booty-shaking romp. Starting rather tame, the exercises become more sexual and only attributes to the hilarity we see on screen. While the 1980s work out motif is hilarious, it is a bit of an odd choice for a modern booty-romping bop. However, “Wasabi” is one of our favorite tracks off of Layers and we are glad that it received the music video treatment.

Party Favor Revisits His Many Facets in New Remix Album of “Layers”

One way you can measure your album’s success is if the market wants another dose and calls for a remix album. Starting off the journey we are stopping by Area 25 for a brand new remixed version of Party Favor’s Layers album released back in April.

“Before I finished the ‘Layers‘ album, I knew that I wanted to put together a remix pack for it. I’m so happy how they all turned out. So many talented people got to be a part of this, and I’m very grateful. All genres, all vibes and everything in between. Everyone did their thing. Smashes all around.” – Party Favor

While Party Favor is still hardcore riding that sweet wave of success that Layers brought along, he still wanted to pop in with extra DLC. Plenty of talent exists among this tracklisting, including remixes from Duke & Jones, Wuki, Blanke, J. Worra, BiJOU, YehMeh2, Dabow, and TroyBoi. While each mix finds plenty of shared influence among the bass music and house subgenres, each artist makes their slice of the album unique and distinct. While we may be biased, TroyBoi’s more hip-hop influenced remix of “Wait A Minute”, sells this entire remix album for us. Through Layers Party Favor was able to explore the many different facets of his music career and we can’t wait for the next project to fall into our laps.

Make sure you check out the Layers Remix album on Spotify below or on SoundCloud!
