Spinnin’ New Music: Madison Mars “Atom”

Alright, Spinnin’ Records…what do you have for us this week? Well to wind down our fantastically relaxing weekend we have “Atom” the latest from Madison Mars. Madison Mars is quite a bit of a Spotify sensation, with his first two releases “Theme O” and “Milky Way” racking up about 24 million spins just on Spotify alone! While Mars was quite the enigmatic artist early on in his career, fans were delighted when they were finally able to catch a glimpse of him at his live show with Don Diablo at the Amsterdam Dance Event in 2016. Mars has only recently joined Spinnin’ Records, and we can’t wait for his EP to drop in the coming months. On top of everything, Spinnin’ is hosting a contest with this release to boost their numbers on their YouTube channel! You can check it out here.

Now how does “Atom” hold up to the rest of his releases? Well, the track has the same big room/epic feel to it, though it seems a bit familiar to the work of Martin Garrix. He isn’t the only one to take notice, as Hardwell has stated that it is “the best track I’ve heard in 2017 so far”. We definitely have no doubt that this is going to be an instant fan favorite and we make a solid mark in Madison Mars’s catalog.

Make sure you give “Atom” a full listen below!

NEW FROM SPINNIN’: Brazillian Powerhouses Vintage Culture & RICCI Collab on “Later”

It is about time that we gave the Mir treatment to a new record label. This week we are checking out the latest from massive label Spinnin’ Records, who bring us “Later” a new collaboration between artists Vintage Culture and RICCI. These two are the latest and biggest producers out of Brazil, making a name for themselves after performing different sets at Lollapalooza Brazil this year. These two artists are quickly becoming the most popular electronic acts out of Brazil and are going to continue with performances at Rock in Rio as well as more releases for RICCI over on Sony Music.

Now “Later” is a decent example of a summer anthem out of the Brazillian electronic scene right now. The track is not only heavy on the synths and features sultry vocal work, but is almost guaranteed to fill the venue where it is blasting through the speakers. The warbling yet driving bass line will keep you dancing long after the night is actually over. There is plenty of chemistry between these two Brazillian powerhouses that we need more, more collaborations the better.

Make sure you give “Later” a full listen below:

MUSIC VIDEO ALERT: IZII’s “Birds” Ft. The Powder Room

cover-11

A relative unknown artist (for now), IZII burst onto the scene with his collaboration with superstars Breathe Carolina on “Echo (Let Go)” earlier this year. IZII is already making a mark for himself, with releases on both Spinnin’ and Armada Records. As far as this single goes though, IZII made it in an impressive one week after being entranced by the amazing voice of Natalia Kills. She also brings plenty of experience to the track, having a Grammy underneath her belt. Here you can check out our review of the track “Birds”.

The music video for “Birds” honestly does the track justice. We follow two lovers, who are struggling to live in our current world as young adults. The video depicts these characters, who are relatively unknown to the viewer, in moments of danger and despair. On the contrary however, the video also is an example of all of the loving moments that come along with being a young adult during this time.

Be sure to watch the music video below!
