WWE NXT|5-21-14|Bo-Leave!

Hello my friends and welcome to my review of May 21st edition of NXT Wrestling! Tonight’s advertised main event is Bo Dallas vs. Big E. If Bo wins he get a shot at the NXT Title if he loses he must leave NXT for good! Can Bo beat Big E once again, or will Big E finally be able to put away Bo?

Bo Dallas Highlight.

Before the show begins we get a highlight of what has happened to Bo in the past months. We see him lose the title to Neville and lost the battle royal, than it highlights his match against Big E tonight, along with advertising that the NXT World Champion will be in action and WWE Divas Champion Paige will return to NXT to take on Tamina Snuka in a rematch from Extreme Rules. A great way to get the fans excited about the show!

Win or Go Home Match!

Bo Dallas vs. Big E

Before the match begins the announcer, announces the rules for the match. If Bo Dallas wins he will be granted a title shot at the NXT Championship, but if he loses he must leave NXT for good! Bo comes out first and before Big E comes out Bo grabs a mic and says NXT was born from Bo-Leiving and dubs himself Mr. NXT! Out next is Big E and it is evident the NXT crowd remembers the former World Champ as they chant “5” at him! Once the bell rang, Big E started to over power Bo with numerous heavy strikes and a huge Shoulder block. Bo rolled out of the ring, but it didn’t stop Big E. Big E continued o beat down on Bo, until Bo caught Big E off guard by taking Big E down with a forearm to the leg. Bo took advantage of his surroundings by slamming Big E face first into the steel steps. Bo gained control here as he continued to beat down on E outside the ring, before tossing him back in and locking in a chin lock! Bo has the submission hold locked in for quite awhile, but Big E managed to get out and this is where the match gets exciting. The competitors began to trade blows back an forth! They traded heavy strikes and hard hitting moves such as scoop clams, stiff clotheslines and Bo even managed to reverse Big E’s Big Ending to hit his Under hook DDT, but Big E managed to kick out. Dallas, shocked by the fact someone manged to kick out, he began to grow desperate! Bo than grew a a big smile on his face and unwrapped his wrist tape and tossed it to the side. The referee went to pick it up, but while his back was turned he untied the turnbuckle cover and looked to beat Big E the same way he beat him for the NXT Championship. Dallas ran at Big E, but E managed to catch him and tossed him right into the unpadded turnbuckle, Bo stumbled forward and Big E caught him and lifted him up on his shoulder to hit the Big Ending for the three count.

Winner – Big E

Rating – 9/10: Wow, these two put on a great match, and it was a fitting way to send Bo away. These two have great chemistry together and I look forward to future matches between the two on the main roster! The ending was great, sending both back to their title match together with this time Big E learning from his past mistakes. After the match ended Bo threw a fit in the ring and screamed at the fans “Don’t leave me!” When we came back from commercial break, we were shown what happened during it. Bo continued his fit and before he left he told the NXT Universe he never liked them and he said there just sick and told them to leave! It’s sad to see Bo go since he was one of the best parts of NXT, he did debut on this weeks Smackdown and I wish him the best of luck on the main roster!

Backstage Exclusive with Tyson Kidd.

Kidd is asked backstage about his number one contendership and if this is why he came back to NXT. Kidd responds by saying that this is exactly why he came back and come NXT Take Over he will fulfill his destiny!

Sami Zayn Interview

Devin Taylor is backstage to interview Sami Zayn, they talk about his loss last week. Sami says he can’t let it affect him and compliments Tyson on being opportunistic, Tyler Breeze walks through the frame while looking at his phone before bumping into Zayn. The two exchange words, Zayn points out the fact the Breeze was the one who got pinned last week, but Breeze quickly responds by saying he didn’t get pined by him. Zayn says they can settle it tonight, but Breeze says he is busy and says he will see him at Take Over! This sets up another great match on an already great card for next week! Zayn and Breeze have been two of the most promising and popular stars on the NXT roster and they should put on a great match next week. Zayn was a lot better on the mic this week and Breeze just continues to impress!

Tamina Snuka vs. Paige (c)

Tonight we have a special treat, as we have a rematch from this years Extreme Rules PPV! The WWE Divas Champion returns to NXT to take on her rival Tamina Snuka! At Extreme Rules these two didn’t put on the match I expected! Honestly in my opinion Paige’s run on the WWE Main Roster hasn’t been all to great! For some reason WWE has decided to not let her look strong and honestly portrays her as a weak champion who gets lucky! Tonight should be different since this is Paige’s home! Paige tried to take it to Tamina early, but after she made the mistake and headbutted Snuka and  Tamina was able to over powered to Divas Champion and used her strength to her advantage as she hit Paige with numerous hard blows!  Paige manged to get back into control as she followed up with many stiff clotheslines and proved that she could brawl with the best! The two traded hard hitting blows, but Tamina got back into control when she lifted and sat Paige on the ropes just to push her out of the ring to the outside! Tamina eventually left the ring and tossed Paige back in. Snuka climbed to the top rope and attempted to hit The Superfly Splash, but the Divas Champion got her feet up and rolled a stunned Tamina Snuka for the three count!

Winner – Paige (c)

Rating – 7\10: I felt that this match was way better than their Extreme Rules match! It was more hard hitting and they definitely showed they can put on a good match, now only if WWE would let them. My only gripe with this match was the ending, once again Paige’s win was made to seem like luck! I don’t understand why they won’t let her look like the strong champion she can be. If WWE somehow fails on Paige, they really messed up!

Camacho vs. Adam Rose

These two have had a fun rivalry as of late, and I’ve been really surprised with Camacho as of late! Tonight Rose looks to get his revenge on Camacho after he beat down on one of his Rosebuds, Captain Comic! Rose has made his official debut to the WWE Main Roster, but it hasn’t been a huge hit yet. His first couple of appearance weren’t received to well, but the fans are beginning to warm up to him since this past Monday Night Raw at London! Even though it is apparent Rose has a problem with both Zeb Colter and Jack Swagger, right now he needs to focus on his first real rival, Camacho! Rose went running at Camacho, but it did not last long as Camacho used his strength to his advantage and tossed Rose of him! I was honestly a bit surprised to see Camacho have control over Rose for the majority. It seemed that every move Rose, tried Camacho countered with an even more powerful move! but it wasn’t to long before we saw the more dangerous side of Rose come out. Rose began to hit Camacho with many of his most powerful moves and even went for The Party Fall, but Camacho once again uses his strength to his advantage and tosses Rose off him and rolls out of the ring and accepts the count out!

Winner – Adam Rose

Rating – 7\10: I was honestly surprised by this match, I really expected Rose to dominate Camacho and pick up an easy victory! but Camacho surprised me tonight as he continues to impress by showing off more of his move set, and for the first time unlike Mojo Rawley or The Ascension we see a new superstar taken to the limit! I was expecting WWE to protect Rose, but I feel it was a lot smarter to show not only can he dish out damage but he can take it to. The ending was fitting as it continues the rivalry between the two, and if they keep up the great work. I won’t even mind. I’m really enjoying this feud between the two!

Round 2 of the NXT Womens Championship Tournament.

Sasha Banks W/ Charlotte vs. Natalya

So we have our final match in the actual tournament, the winner of this match will go on the face Charlotte next week at NXT: Take Over for the vacated NXT Womens Championship! While Sasha was making her entrance we are shown a video of Charlotte talking about this match. She expresses how she wants Sasha to beat Natalya, but she also doesn’t because she doesn’t want to show her BFFs weakness! Early on in the match, Natalya dominated Sasha counter every move she attempted to hit her with and even hitting some of her own impressive, but after Sasha hung Natalya in the middle of the ropes and slammed her knees down into her gut, The Boss began to take control. Sasha stomped repeatedly onto the shoulder blades of Nattie and even hit an impressive spring board bulldog. It seemed once Sasha hit the mat though, she hurt her leg. Banks rolled out of the ring holding the back of her leg, Charlotte yelled at Banks to get up and even picked her up and tossed her back into the ring! Sasha obviously upset by the told Charlotte not to touch her and the two exchanged words, meanwhile Nattie got back up and swept Banks of her feet to lock into The Sharpshooter to force The Boss to tap out!

Winner – Natalya

Rating – 6\10: For a short match this was rather enjoyable! I was glad to see Banks show off her skill set and that is wasn’t completely dominated by Nattie. I also enjoy the whole injury angle, because it gives doubt to Nattie’s win and really shows that Sasha Banks is a competitor. It’s obvious the WWE is building towards the split of The BFFs and it could all start with the NXT Womens Championship, but Charlotte has to get through Natalya first, and it was evident by the look on her face after the match, that she is not to happy that she has to fight Natalya!

NXT: Take Over Card!

Before our main event, they hyped Take Over one last time, showing us what the card looks like so far. The following matches will take place next week at Take Over

Number One Contendership Match for the NXT Championship

Sami Zayn vs. Tyler Breeze

Adam Rose vs. Camacho

NXT Tag Team Championship Match

Kalisto & El Local vs. The Ascension (c)

NXT Womens Championship Match

Charlotte vs. Natalya

NXT World Title Macth

Tyson Kidd vs. Adrian Neville (c)

Curt Hawkins vs. Adrian Neville (c)

and now it is time for out main event! It has been a long time since we have seen Curt Hawkins in one on one action, and he continues the trend tonight of returning to NXT to make a name for himself, and what better to do that than to defeat the NXT Champion just a week before his title defense! These two had a great little match here! For the time it was given, Hawkins got to showcase his move set, and I got to admit, he is really good. I hope to see more from him in the future, but it wasn’t long until Neville landed some stiff kicks and climbed to the top to hit The Red Arrow for the win

Winner – Adrian Neville

Rating – 6\10: Sadly this was a short match! It could of been much better, given that both superstars are great in the ring, but it served its purpose and that was to make the Champ look strong going into his title defense next week against Tyson Kidd. I hope we get to see more from Hawkins, because he is a lot better than I remembered! but speaking of Tyson Kidd…

Tyson Kidd & Adrian Neville Segment.

Kidd comes down shortly after the match and explains to Neville he is not here to cause a problem, but he wanted to tell Neville straight to his face that next week the NXT Title goes home with him! Kidd explains that he has been on Raw and Smackdown! Kidd explains how he is a former tag team champion! Tyson goes on to explain how he misses that feeling and that NXT is going to propel him to the top! Neville responds by saying that he has been watching Tyson for a very long time, but if Kidd thinks that he is going to use NXT as his springboard and use him as a pawn to get to the top, its not happening. He explains that NXT is the future and even states how he is the future. He ends the conversation by telling Tyson at Take Over, the only person in his family that is going to walk out with a title will be his wife, as usual! We have not seen much interaction between these two, but finally we see them in the ring with each other, and I got to say this promo was well done and did a great job of hyping the match for next week!

Superstar of the Night – Big E

Despite tonight having some really great matches, there wasn’t many superstars who made a huge impact. The only two that come to mind is Natalya and Big E! Natalya won tonight and will go on to challenge for the Womens Title next week, but in her match she was mostly on the defense, and besides what Big E did in my opinion made a bigger impact. Big E not only finally beat Bo Dallas, but he is also the reason the The Self Dubbed, Mr. NXT will no longer be appearing on NXT! In my opinion beating the longest reigning NXT World Champion (as of this review) and forcing him out of NXT is as a good as any reason to be awarded The Superstar of the Night!

Extreme Rules 2014 – He’s Got the Whole World, In His Hands!

Hello my friends and welcome to the 2014 edition of WWE’s Extreme Rules! Tonight our advertised main events are John Cena vs. Bray Wyatt in a Steel Cage Match, Evolution vs. The Shield and Daniel Bryan defends his WWE Championship against Kane! Will John Cena end The Cult Like following of Bray Wyatt, or will Wyatt complete his mission and bring out the monster inside of John Cena? Will The Shield be able to overcome Evolution, or will The Game and company prove everything they said to be true? and of course will Daniel Bryan be able to overcome the monster that is Kane? or will The Big Red Machine win his second WWE Championship! Let’s find out!

Extreme Rules Pre-Show

WeeLC Match

Hornswoggle vs. El Torito

It is know time for our WeeLC match, and before anyone is introduced we have some special people out there. We have a midget referee and a midget ring announcer! Along with our new ref and announcer we have a new announce team! joining JBl, Cole and The King on commentary tonight is Micro Cole, JBElf and Jerry “The King” Smaller! Out first is Los Matadores and El Torito, after they come out Three Man Band and Hornswoggle make their way to the ring. The bell rings and the two begin to swing at each other! Torito gets in control by taking Swoggle down with a Hurricarana, and shortly after we are treated with a commercial break, but once we are back we see The Matadores and 3MB trading blows, but the band is able to take them out, and Torito was all by himself as Swoggle began to beat down on him! We saw Swoggle call the shots as he had 3MB set up a Mini Table and ladder! He also had Heath Slater hold Torito still has he swung at him with the mini steel chair, but Torito ducked and the chair connected with Slater’s gut and sent him off the apron into a bunch of tables! McIntyre and Mahal forced Torito to the top of the ladder, as Hornswoggle looked to toss him off the mini ladder through the mini tables, but Los Matadores got back up and lifted Jinder up onto their shoulders as Torito smashed Swoggle’s face into the ladder and jumped over him onto Jinder and took him, Mahal, and Los Matadores down. All 4 men went through table and ladders! Hornswoggle was not down with Torito as he had Drew pick him up and put him on a regular table. He than demanded McIntyre the jump to the outside onto Torito. As Drew jumped over the ropes, Torito moved out of the way and Drew went through the table by himself. Torito than grabbed a mini steel chair and went to hit Slater, but accidentally hit Hornswoggle! He tan unfolded the chair and slammed Slater’s face into it! To end the match El Torito did a springboard leap of the ring ropes, onto Hornswoggle sending him through a mini table to pick on the win!

Winner – El Torito

Rating – 6\10: A lot of people were not looking forward to this match, but I actually was! I looked at it as something different. Down in Mexico where El Torito hails from, midget wrestling is actually a pretty big thing down there, and El Torito was one of the most popular stars! Maybe WWE can have their own midget division, or maybe not! Despite the fact that Torito and Hornswoggle put on an entertaining match, the WWE still made a joke out of it! and while it was amusing! I do not want a Midget Division, if its always going to be a joke! I do think it was a clever idea to get Los Matadores and 3MB involved in the match as well! I really enjoyed this match, and hope maybe we get to see more of this from the WWE!

Extreme Rules!

Rob Van Dam vs. Cesaro W/Paul Heyman vs. Jack Swagger W/Zeb Colter

We open up the official show with an Elimination Triple Threat Match! At Wrestlemania 30 Cesaro won the Andre the Giant Battle Royal and ended his partner ship with Zeb Colter and Jack Swagger. The night after Mania Cesaro, was no longer a Zeb Colter guy, he became a Paul Heyman guy!  All three of these superstars were involved in the tournament for the Number One Contendership for the Intercontinental Championship! Van Dam beat Cesaro in the tourney and declined an offer from Zeb Colter. Swagger and Cesaro cost Van Dam his match against Wade Barrett in the Intercontinental Title Tourney! And now the three finally get their hands on each other! First out was Van Dam to a nice crowd reaction and than was Swagger and Colter and finally Heyman! Heyman speaks on the mic before he introduces Cesaro! Heyman speaks how WWE got it right and had one night dedicated to Extreme! The crowd begins to chant ECW at Heyman, Heyman began to talk about how glad he is that he will always be remembered, and as it seemed like he was going to say ECW, he quickly turns it around by saying he will always be remembered for Brock Lesnar, his client ending The Undertaker’s undefeated streak at Wrestlemania, he tan introduces Cesaro and the two head down to the ring together. Of course this being a triple threat match it means all three men will be in the ring at the same time. It appeared that The former Real Americans were going to work together early on against Van Dam, but RVD being the more experienced of the two was able to stay in control of the match despite the early team up. Swagger and Cesaro finally started to take it to Van Dam together, but that did not last to long as the former partners took it to each other! We saw all three men hit each other with many hard hitting moves. At one point Van Dam hit Cesaro with a sunset flip and Cesaro landed on top of Swagger! Cesaro manged to suplex Suplex Swagger back into the ring from the Ring Apron, and after Swagger hit the canvas RVD flew and hit Jack with a Five Star Frog Splash to eliminate him from the match!

RVD eliminates Jack Swagger via pin fall

With Jack Swagger eliminated, this Triple Threat match, becomes a one on one match! We have seen these two face off before during The Intercontinental Championship Tournament! Van Dam was able to pick up the victory over Cesaro that night, and admittedly they did not put on a good match that night! Tonight they look to out do their previous match! Both superstars have already taken damage, but they were holding nothing back! Van Dam pulled out his Extreme side tonight. We saw Van Dam hit classic moves such as The Spinning Leg Drop from the ring apron to the outside to Cesaro who was hanging over the barricade, we saw Van Dam pull out an impressive Rolling Thunder, it definitely had to be the best one I’ve seen from him! Cesaro took the damage, but he also dished it out to Van Dam! At one point Van Dam pulled out a Trash Can and looked to use it against Cesaro, but The Swiss Superman his a Baseball slide right into the Trash Can and sent it right into the gut of RVD! The Trash Can played a part at the end of the match. RVD threw it at Cesaro, and he was able to catch it but this set him up for the Van Damninator! This set Cesaro up for a Five Star Frog Splash! RVD set the Trash Can on top of Cesaro and went for the Frog Splash, but Cesaro moved out of the way, but left the weapon there and Van Dam landed right on top of it! Cesaro forced Van Dam up to his feet and hit The Neutralizer on top of the Trash Can to win the match by pin fall!

Winner – Cesaro

Rating – 8\10: What an opening match! All three men looked great here tonight! Sadly Swagger was the first one to go, and me being a fan of Swagger and Colter it sucks to see him go first, but it took to hard hitting moves to take him out! Cesaro and Van Dam made everyone forget about their sloppy match on Raw a few weeks ago with their brief one on one match! I was also glad to see RVD pull out the Extreme! With the PPV being called Extreme Rules and RVD being the king of Extreme, it just made sense! even if it was just a Trash Can! A great opening match here, but I’m a little worried for all three men! I don’t see where they go from here. I’m sure WWE will come up with something for Cesaro, but as for RVD and Swagger, I expect them to be in limbo for awhile!

Backstage Segment W/ Daniel Bryan (c) & Stephanie McMahon

We see backstage the Doctor is checking on Bryan, when Steph comes in and ask for a minute alone with Bryan. Mrs. McMahon explains that she can’t control Kane, and she is worried for Bryan and tells him there is away out of it, and he Bryan needs to do is Vacate the WWE World Heavyweight Championship! Bryan tells Steph to get out and Steph responds by telling Bryan, after tonight he won’t be WWE World Champion, but he will be Kane’s Bitch!

Alexander Rusev W/Lana vs. R-Truth & Xavier Woods

Lana comes out first and states she is dedicating this match to Vladimir Putin! Rusev comes out next and the two walk down to the ring! Out next is the team of Woods & R-Truth! Usually Truth & Woods are having fun and rapping when they come down the ring, but as Truth said on the mic, there will be no rapping tonight and things are getting serious! Before the match even begun, before both men could get into the ring, Rusev hit Woods with a Super Kick sending him out of the ring and also took Truth off the apron as well! Rusev went outside of the ring and began to beat down on Woods. Rusev hit Woods with a HUGE slam outside of the ring, and before the match could even begin, Rusev already took Woods out! The match finally began when Truth told the ref he was fine, and the ref was able to hold Rusev back long enough, but the second the bell rang, Rusev went right after Truth and beat him down. Truth did mange to fight back, and even took Rusev down. For the first time in Rusev’s career he was almost defeated! Lana almost had a fit when that happened! but after that pin happened it was over for Truth! Rusev began to beat down on Truth again! The final moments of the match happened when Rusev hit Truth with a HUGE slam! and followed up with The Accolade! to force R-Truth to tap out!

Winner – Alexander Rusev

Rating – 6\10: I’m not going to lie! I wasn’t even remotely excited for this match! It was a handicap match, that mimicked Ryback of early last year! but this wasn’t a one sided match and it wasn’t even a handicap match! I thought it was clever and really interesting that Rusev took Woods out before the match could even begin! I’m also glad that it wasn’t one sided, the fact that Truth got some offense in as well and even piked up a two count on him, it really added to the match! Rusev should of won here and he did! The Bulgarian Brute continues his dominance tonight! I’m still excited to see where his career goes! Before I move on though, I do wanna talk briefly about Xavier Woods! Just like Rusev, Woods is still in his rookie year in the WWE, and came over from NXT not to long ago! Its sad to see how far Woods has fallen already, and I really hope things do turn around for him, because Woods could be a great mid card, or tag team if you just let him!

Backstage Interview W/ Evolution

Renee Young is backstage with all three members of Evolution. She asks them about their match against The Shield later tonight, and what they have done to prepare. Triple H answers by saying the Shield believe that Evolution’s egos is what will cost them the match. The Game admits that all three of them have massive egos before he tells us that they are well deserves. He than goes around and builds up both Batista and Orton before asking Young is she knows why he is called The Cerebral Assassin, she ask why and Triple H responds by telling her that she will find out tonight. Than Orton gets on the mic and states Triple H was right when he said you either adapt or perish, and tonight The Shield will perish and you can believe that! The Interview ends when all three mock The Shield by putting their fist together in the center just like their opponents do!

WWE Intercontinental Championship Match

Big E (c) vs. Bad News Barrett

WWE did something right with The Intercontinental Championship! Along with the United States Championship, The IC title has been losing it’s prestige over the years! but when WWE announced the Number One Contenders Tournament! Barrett did not have any momentum, but that all changed when he finally made his return to the ring and went on to defeat Dolph Ziggler, Sheamus and RVD to win the tournament! He know faces Big E, a man who the WWE Universe at one point thought could bring the prestige back to the title, but sadly he ended up being like all the rest! Barrett came down first and told the Universe that he had some bad news! He talked about this new disease in America and stated we would all soon fall to it, just like Big E would fall to him tonight! Big E was out next and he was Booed, and not by a few people! Majority of the Universe booed Big E tonight! Even throughout the match. There wasn’t to many memorable moments in this match up, but it was still good! These two men went out there and put on a hard hitting battle! We saw Big E hit many of his hard hitting strikes and almost put away Barrett with The Big Ending, but Barrett manged to kick out! Bad News as well dished out his fair share of offense as well! We saw Barrett hit Big E with many of his strikes as well as his old finishing move, Waste Land, but Big E managed to kick out! It looked like Bad News was about to win as he went for The Bull Hammer, but Big E moved out of the way and ran against the ropes, and looked like he was ready to take Barrett down, but Bad News jumped into the air and hit The Bull Hammer to knock Big E out and pick up a three count and his fourth Intercontinental Championship!

Winner & New Champion – Bad News Barrett

Rating – 7\10: It’s great too see Barrett back in the ring, and he is really over with The Universe! Instead of cheering the fan favorite, Big E, the universe chose to Boo him and cheer for The Heel, Wade Barrett! Even though there wasn’t many highlights of the match, that does not take away from this match! These two still went out there and put on a great match! and now the Bad News Barrett is the new Champ, I’ll be interested to see if the title is now elevated! I hope we do get to see a feud between these two! I think these two can elevate each other, and if Barrett continues to stay and become more popular with The Universe! He may find himself in the main event after he drops the strap!

Evolution (Triple H, Randy Orton & Batista)  vs. The Shield (Roman Reigns, Dean Ambrose (c) & Seth Rollins)

Before they come out we are shown a video package for this match. The Video highlighted The Shield’s dominance, the re birth of Evolution and of course the rivalry between the two team! The Video was really well down and really got me even more excited for this match! First out is Evolution, and I don’t think Batista got the memo as both Orton and HHH wore Black to the ring, but Batista wore Red! Next out is The Shield, and they don’t take their time as they rushed to the ring. Before the match began, the two teams began to brawl, and The Shield tossed each member of Evolution out of the ring! The match finally began and Seth Rollins and Triple H started out first! In the early parts of the match we saw both teams take it to each other! both teams had their moments of dominance! Evolution beat down on The Shield, The Shield beat down on Evolution! Once we starting getting into the mid match, is when things began to break down! We saw the teams brawl outside of the ring, Reigns attempted to spear Triple H, but The Game moved out the way and Reigns went right into the steel steps! Evolution began to take control over the match, as they singled out Ambrose and took turns beating down on him, Ambrose did mange to tag in Rollins, but that did not change anything as Evolution still took turns beating down on Rollins. Things began to break down though when The Shield started getting back into the match! They did more daring moves and we saw both teams trade blows and honestly it just felt like a brawl! All three members of The Shield were in the ring together and they lifted Batista up and hit him with The Triple Threat Power Bomb! Ambrose went on the outside and began to brawl with Randy Orton, while Rollins attempted to  land a suicide dive onto The Game, but HHH moved out of the way and Rollins went into the barricade! Triple H got into the ring, and lifted Reigns up and hit him with The Pedigree! Triple tried to roll Batista over Reigns, but Ambrose raced into the ring and began to brawl with Triple H and the two went over the announce table, while this is happened Reigns managed to kick out of the pin, but Orton quickly got back in the ring and hit Reigns with an RKO! Rollins got back in and took Orton outside of the ring! Rollins and Orton battles on the outside and Triple H joined in! Orton and HHH beat down on Rollins in the crowd, but Ambrose goes running across the announce table and jumped onto both Triple H and Orton! All Four men battled outside in the crowd! At one point Orton and The Game tossed Ambrose down a set of steel stairs, and the two continued to beat down on Ambrose, until Rollins jumped for the row above them and landed on all three men! Both Batista and Reigns are back up in the ring and we see the two begin to fight! Roman managed to hit Batista with The Superman Punch. Reigns let out his primal scream and ran full force at Batista to hit him with his version of The Spear to pick up the three count for his team!

Winners – The Shield

Rating – 9\10: The Match of the Night! All six of these men went out their and contributed to this match! Both teams dominated at some point and all men looked great here tonight! and I have to say this. My two favorite wrestlers are Triple H and Dean Ambrose! I have been a huge fan of The Game ever since his first return from injury back in 2001, and I have been following Dean Ambrose for his entire career, even before he was hired by WWE and went by the name Jon Moxly! So seeing those two fight for a few moments was just a dream come true for me! There were many great highlights in this match, and I’m sure it will be nominated for Match of the Year! but now that The Shield won, is it over? I doubt it, because I’m sure Triple, Batista and Orton aren’t to happy about losing!

Steel Cage Mach

Bray Wyatt W/The Wyatt Family vs. John Cena

Before the match starts we are shown a video package for this match. The Video highlighted Bray Wyatt! We saw highlights from Wyatt’s and Cena’s match from Wrestlemania 30! and we were also treated to the highlights leading up to this event. Bray was the main focus, as I don’t believe we once saw Cena get the advantage in this build up! The video ended with Bray and the creepy kids from this past Monday on Raw singing “He’s Got the Whole World, In His Hands.” Out first was John Cena who received his mixed reaction as usual, than it was Bray and company! Both superstars are surrounded by the Steel Cage and they begin to take it to each other! For the in ring action, there was not many memorable spots! Honestly this match was mostly Cena! We watch John beat down on Wyatt and than attempt to leave the Steel Structure, but of course both Eric Rowan and Like Harper made sure Cena could not escape! We saw Rowan and Harper stand below Cena, climb up the cage and force him back in and even test their strength against Cena as he tried to escape from the door! At one point early on we even got to see a double team! Wyatt held Cena against the Steel Cage, as Rowan ran and jumped into the part of the cage Cena was against!  Cena looked like he was going to win many times, especially when he locked in the STF, but his mistakes came back to haunt him as Luke Harper (who he pulled inside the cage earlier in the match) broke up the hold! Cena did mange to take out each member of The Wyatt Family, and looked like he was about to win by walking out of the door, but the lights went off and we here He’s Got the Whole World playing over the speakers in a distorted voice. Once the lights come on we see a young boy standing in front of Cena  singing the same song in the same voice. Wyatt takes advantage of this as he grabs Cena and pulls him back in the hit Sister Abigail! Bray than walks out of the door to win the match!

Winner – Bray Wyatt

Rating – 6\10: The rivalry between these two have been great, I just wish the ring work was better. I’m not saying both of their matches were bad, but for a rivalry like this, I feel like the matches should of been far better, especially tonight? I was expecting Cena to beat down on Wyatt, but instead we got to see him dominate Bray for the majority of the match and attempt to escape! Seriously that is all I can really remember about the in ring action. I did think it was interesting how Cena’s plan backfired on him. The reason these two were fighting inside the Steel was to keep Harper and Rowan out, but it didn’t work! The ending with that little boy singing was clever and unexpected! Even though Bray won here tonight, it feels like he lost to me! I thought his mission was to bring out the monster in Cena? Tonight he failed to do that! and even though Cena technically won this match many times tonight, Wyatt is the one that comes away with the victory!

WWE Divas Championship Match

Tamina Snuka vs. Paige (c)

WWE finally gives the audience a break! After having two of a three main events take place, we are given the filler match! Paige defends her championship for the first time against Tamina Snuka! Early on Paige used her speed against Tamina as she stayed away from her strength and even outsmarted her several times! Snuka manged to get back in the match as Paige climbed the turnbuckle and got hit with a Super Kick, sending her outside of the ring! Tamina and Paige brawled outside, and at one point The Divas Champ attempted a Hurricarana, but Tamina showed of her strength when she turned the move around on Paige and swung our champion into the barricade! Things began to look bad for our champ as Tamina began to dominate! Paige showed off her resiliency as she kicked out of every pin attempt! Our Champion managed to get back into the match in the late game and even forced Tamina to tap out after she locked in The Scorpion Crosslock!

Winner & Still Divas Champion – Paige

Rating – 5\10: I feel like this match was rushed, and honestly it probably was. I know both Tamina and Paige are way better than what we saw tonight. They put on a fun match, but it could of been so much better! Paige in her PPV debut, still manages to come away with the victory, but I can’t say I’m happy with the way the WWE is handling her!

Backstage Segment W/ The Wyatt Family

Bray tells the Little Johnny AKA the Young Boy who helped him win the Steel Cage Match. Bray brags about how his word will be heard and ask Johnny if he knows what is next. Little Johnny replies by saying “Follow The Buzzards”

WWE World Heavyweight Championship Extreme Rules Match

Kane vs. Daniel Bryan (c)

Before the match begins we are shown a Video Package for this match! The Video highlights The feud between these two and The Monster Side of Kane! We are shown Bryan’s win at Mania, and we are shown the destructive path, that Kane has left behind him ever since he put his mask back on! Out first is our Champion Daniel Bryan, and it we did not have to wait long for Kane to come out or even for this match to begin, because Bryan did not wait for Kane, he met him halfway down the entrance way! The two began to brawl before the match began, and even after the match began! Kane did get the advantage over Bryan as he definitely embraced The Extreme part of this match! Kane went for many dangerous moves on Bryan, including a Tombstone Piledriver on top of the Steel Steps, but lick enough for Bryan he managed to get out! It wasn’t long before these two took it to the backstage, and this is were the match really picked up! Kane really wanted to hurt Bryan tonight. We saw Kane throw what looked like a Laptop at Bryan, Bryan’s luck continued as he not only dodged the laptop, but moved out of the way before it began to spark since Kane threw it into water. The two battled to the parking lot and Kane tossed Bryan on top of a car and even threw at keg at Bryan that went through the windshield, when Bryan managed to move out of the way! Bryan found a Crowbar in the open trunk of another car and knocked Kane out backstage with it. The only way Bryan could win though is in the ring, so he needed to come up with a way to get Kane back to the ring! Bryan rolled Kane onto a wooden base that was on a Forklift! Bryan than started and drove the Forklift to ringside and rose the base as high as he could before dumping Kane back into the ring! Bryan than climbed up the Forklift and hit a jumping headbutt from the top of the Lift! Kane managed to kick out of a close pin, but Daniel managed to lock in The Yes Lock. Kane fought out of the submission hold but crawling out of the ring, The Champion ran at Kane and flew through the ropes to hit a Suicide Diva on Kane, but The Monster caught Bryan in mid air around the through, before he lifted him up and Chokeslamed him through the announce table! While Bryan laid there on the ground, Kane began to set up another table! The Monster than poured Gasoline on the table an lit it on fire! Kane and Bryan fought on the ring apron, Kane tried to Chokeslam Bryan through the flaming table, but Daniel used the ropes like a sling shot to knock Kane off the apron and through the table on fire. Two men quickly used the Fire Extinguishers to put the flames out, Kane stumbled himself back into the ring, but the second he got him Bryan, who was waiting on him ran full force at his opponent and hit him with The Running Knee!

Winner & Still WWE World Heavyweight Champion – Daniel Bryan

Rating – 7\10: Wow! These two went to the extreme! I never thought I would see a Table on Fire in the PG Era of WWE, but we did! This match reminded be a lot of the Hardcore matches we got to see in The Attitude Era! Kane was the perfect choice for Bryan’s first title defense given their history. Former Tag Team Champions together as Team Hell No! Just last year in this same arena they teamed up together to defend their tag titles against Dolph Ziggler and Big E at Wrestlemania 29! and to see them now feuding is just great! The build up for this feud has been slow, but entertaining! I do get the feeling these two are not done with each other, since as Bryan was walking up the entrance way, Kane got up and made flames come up from the ground behind Bryan!

Superstar of the Night – Roman Reigns

Tonight all three members deserve this award, but it’s The Superstar of the night, not Superstars of the night! The Shield put on the best match tonight against Evolution! We saw Dean save the match many times, and we saw Rollins put his body on the line for the team, but at the end of they day, it was Roman Reigns who hit Batista with The Superman Punch! It was Roman Reigns who hit Batista with The Spear! and it was Roman Reigns who pinned Batista to pick up the win. There is no doubt in my mind that these three men can become big stars in the WWE, and tonight they looked like it! I don’t think the feud between those 6 men is over, but I do think that once The Shield is finished with Evolution that we will see big things from Reigns! Tonight was the first step of many for Roman Reigns!

Wrestlemania 30 – Thank You Taker!

Hello my friends, and welcome to my review of the 30th installment of Wrestlemania! Tonight we have numerous advertised main events such as John Cena vs Bray Wyatt, Daniel Bryan vs. Triple H, The Undertaker vs. Brock Lesnar and Randy Orton defending his WWE World Heavyweight Championship in the main event against Batista and the winner of the Bryan/HHH Match! I’m excited for this event, so let’s get started!

Pre-Show

WWE Tag Team Title Match!

The Usos (c)  vs. Los Matadores W/ El Torito vs. Rybaxel vs. The Real Americans w/Zeb Colter

The WWE Tag Titles are on the line in a Fatal Four Way Elimination Match! This match was great! I loved every second of it, and it certainly was worthy of a Wrestlemania spot and its a shame its on the Pre Show. Los Matadores was the unexpected team for me here. I know the other three teams are good, but I haven’t seen much from them as a team except for the matches with 3MB. El Torito even got involved in the match as he crossbodied Curtis Axel off the shoulders of The Matatdores into all the other competitors, but after Swagger got a hold of one of the Matadores and locked in his Patriot Lock to force them to tap out.

Los Matadores eliminated via submission

Action picked up as both The Real Americans and Rybaxel dominated over the tag champs, but The Usos fought through it and lasted long enough for Ryback to tag himself into the match and battle The Real Americans. Ryback showed off his strength as he tossed both The Americans around, Ryback was looking to take Cesaro out but Cesaro was able to toss Ryback in the air and catch him with the Uppercut followed by The Neutralizer to eliminated Ryback with the three count!

Rybaxel eliminated via pin fall

The Real Americans and The Usos have a stare down. The Real American put their hands over their hearts and said along with the crowd “We The People!” The Usos responded with their Us-O Chant and the battle was on. These two teams went back in forth in an incredible tag team match. We saw close falls and impressive team work, but The Usos got the upper hand when the tossed Cesaro into Swagger and landed twin super kicks followed by a double splash to retain their championships.

Winners and Still WWE Tag Team Champions – The Usos

Rating – 8\10: What an excellent match up. It’s a shame this match was on the pre show, because it deserved to be on the actual Mania card! All four teams went out their and stole the show, and restored my faith in the tag division, but the real thing to talk about here is what happened after the match was over. Swagger frustrated with the loss began to yell at Cesaro and even locked in the Patriot Lock, but after Zeb calmed him down Swagger apologized and extended his hand to Cesaro. Cesaro took the handshake, but turned it into his Cesaro Swing, thus ending The Real Americans! It’s kind of a shame because how well these two worked together, but its obvious Cesaro is over, and its time to push him as a singles star. As for Zeb and Swagger, if they keep Swagger looking as good as he has been, he could still be utilized well, but what I think is the smartest thing to do is to find a replacement for Cesaro and continue with The Real Americans without Cesaro!

The Host Of Wrestlemania

Hulk Hogan comes out to a huge crowd reaction. He gets in the ring and hypes Wrestlemania tonight, and even mistakenly says were in the Silver Dome and not the Super Dome. Hogan went on to saying how anything could happen at Wrestlemania, but he was cut off but the Glass Shattering Music of Stone Cold Steve Austin! The Texas Rattlesnake Stomped down to the ring, and did his usual Turnbuckle stance at each one, and than got into the face of The Immortal Hulk Hogan, and the two had a stare down. I had chills going down my spine at this moment. Austin get on the mic and says “If you want Stone Cold to open a can of whoop ass on Hulk Hogan, than give me a Hell Yea!” The crowd erupted with a HELL YEA! and Austin teased the beat down on Hogan, but ultimately began to tell Hogan how much of in impact he has had in the WWE and much respect he had for him. The two seemed to be done until the music of The Great One played! The Rock headed down to the ring, and this is a true moment right here! Three of the biggest names in WWE History in the ring at the same time! The Rock did his routine and even picked on Hogan for his Silver Dome mistake earlier. He than went on to tell Hogan that if is wasn’t for him telling the kids to say their prayers and eat their vitamins, their would be no boy walking around following Hustle, Loyalty, and Respect. He than started to tell Austin is it wasn’t for him defying the corporation and opening a can of whoop ass on the boss, their would be no Yes Man! Battling The Authority. They all went on to say their catch phrases and than they all shared some beer! Courtly of Stone Cold. I was really hoping to see Austin give Rock and Hogan the stunner or at least the tease of it, but this segment was awesome! I loved every moment of it!

Triple H vs Daniel Bryan

The opening match of the night just so happens to be the one with the biggest impact! Now I’ve never been a big Daniel Bryan fan and in fact Triple H is my favorite wrestler, but the video promo for this match was just phenomenal! You get taken through Daniel Bryan’s career and you see just how far he has come and than you see Triple H take it all away and tell him all his work was for nothing! Stephanie was in the ring and she announces Triple H and we are treated with some crazy music and this awesome entrance by The Game as he truly looks the part of The King of Kings tonight! and hearing The Game by Motohead over the speakers again was amazing! Out next is Bryan who comes out to a huge ovation as he and the entire arean chants “YES!” Tonight Triple H and Daniel Bryan stole the show! Daniel Bryan pulled a side out of Triple H we have never seen! These two went out there and put on a classic technical match. They reversed each others moves, got the upper hand over each other and they both beat the hell out of each other! Triple H hit Bryan with heavy knees huge slams and even hit his Pedigree. It looked like it was over but Bryan kicked out! Bryan got himself back into the match and took it to the Game with stiff kicks and great submission holds. Triple H also got in his fair share of submission holds! There were so many false finishes to this match and at times it looked like The Game would win but Bryan landed on his feet after a back suplex and hit Triple H with the running knee for the three!

Winner – Daniel Bryan

Rating -10\10: Tonight Triple H and Daniel Bryan put on a perfect match! They went out there and gave it their all, and Triple H truly did what was Best for Business and put Bryan over her tonight. The after match beat down was brutal and still sets the mystery if Bryan can capture the title here tonight. As I said before I’m not a big Bryan fan, but tonight he had me chanting Yes! Yes! Yes!

New Age Outlaws (“Road Dogg” Jesse James & “Bad Ass” Billy Gunn) & Kane vs. The Shield (Dean Ambrose (c), Seth Rollins & Roman Reigns)

The Outlaws are out first, and Road Dogg does his normal routine down to the ring, that is before he is interrupted by The Shield’s music, as they come down through the audience and some awesome looking mask. Out next is Kane and the match is underway! The Shield dominated the entire match. I don’t think The Outlaws or Kane got much, if any offense in! There were some cool spots like Seth and Dean flying through the ropes and of course The Triple Powerbomb to both Road Dogg and Billy at the same time, after that it was over!

Winner – The Shield

Ranking – 5\10: This was not what I was expecting! The Shield went out there and completely dominated. There were no signs of hope for their opponents. This match was just filled with a bunch of The Shield’s big moves, and honestly. It felt rushed from the entrances. I wonder if Triple H and Bryan went over time? Eitheir way this match suffered from how short it was. Anyone who was expecting a memorable match form The Shield tonight, was disappointed! Myself included!

Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal

Only two superstars entrances were shown, The Heavy favorite The Big Show and The Celtic Warrior Sheamus. I gotta say for a Battle Royal, this was actually pretty entertaining. We saw some great spots here tonight, such as Sheamus BEATING the chest of Fandango, Kofi flying over the turnbuckle just to land his feet on the steel steps saving him from elimination, and the impressive uppercut from Cesaro to eliminate Rey Mysterio, but I think the most memorable moment was when Cesaro lifted The Big Show up and tossed him over the ropes to win!

Winner – Cesaro

Rating –  7-10: I gotta say, this match caught me of guard! I was expecting a sloppy mess, and to be fair in the beginning it kind of was, but once the ring started to clear out, is when the action started to pick up. Giving Cesaro the rub here tonight was a sign of things to come. After losing the pre show Tag Match and ending his partnership with Swagger, Cesaro went on to bigger and better things and made history here tonight by winning the very first and what could possible be the last Andre the Giant Battle Royal.

Bray Wyatt w/ Luke Harper & Eric Rowan vs. John Cena

The second out of our four main events is next up, and I gotta say I’m really excited for this one! The build has been amazing for this and Bray Wyatt’s entrance was great and hearing Mark Cozer and his band perform is was incredible! I wish I could say the same about this match! Bray played up his character and begged Cena to let the monster out and at times it would appear he was about to, but Cena took it to Wyatt and overcame the odds by reversing Sister Abagail into the Attitude Adjustment for the Three Count!

Winner – John Cena

Rating -5\10: This match was disappointing! The build was so great and I had high expectations, and I guess that was my mistake. There were a few highlights like Bray countering The Five Knuckle Shuffle with a Spider Walk, and of course Bray singing while rubbing Cena’s head was entertaing, and Cena had his fair share like the cross body  on the outside to Harper and Rowan, but the match was slow and Cena winning just felt wrong. This is just a typical Cena match to be honest. He gets beat up, comes back and wins…even if it means young talent doesn’t get put over. With as much praise as Cena gave Wyatt, I thought for sure he would put him over, but tonight Super Cena wins again!

The Undertaker vs. Brock Lesnar w/ Paul Heyman

The Video Promo for this match was much better than the actual build to it. Paul Heyman played up Lesnar big time and just made this video such a pleasure to watch, but kind of like the previous match. The match itself was not anything to impressive. Honestly there really weren’t many highlights, just two guys fighting. The most shocking part of the match was the ending, as Lesnar threw Taker on his shoulders for a third time and hit him with another F5 and pinned him for the three, just ending The Undertaker’s 21-0 streak!

Winner – Brock Lesnar

Rating – 6\10: This was a HUGE mistake! I’ve always been one to say The Streak should end, but not this way. Brock Lesnar is almost 40 years old, I believe he is 37. He is a part time superstar, and has absolutely no upside to winning. In fact it feels like the biggest slap in the face. If Taker’s streak had to end it should of been to someone young, but already established just needs that extra push to make them a star! Not someone like Brock Lesnar, and the fact that The build to the match, or even the match itself wasn’t good, really hurts this the most. There is really no memorable thing here. Yes this mania will always be known for the day The Streak ended, but that’s it. The Build up won’t be remembered and the match won’t be remembered. Just the ending, and to end The Streak like that was the biggest mistake the WWE has ever made. Bigger than the XFL and bigger than The Montreal Screwjob.

WWE Divas Championsip

Vickie Guerrero Invitational

Yet another battle royal, but this one is different. It’s not over the top and its not even elimination. The first Diva to score a pin fall or submission is the Divas Champion. Now I really thought this was going to be a train wreck, but it actually wasn’t. It was pretty good in my opinion! There were some great highlights here tonight such as all the divas ganging up on AJ and Tamina, or Eva Marie pushing Tamina down and even The Bella stare off, but at the end of the match Aj locked Naomi in The Black Widow to force her to tap

Winner – AJ Lee

Rating -6\10: This was a fun match. I thought it was going to be a mess, but surprisingly it wasn’t! The Divas looked good tonight. The one fault in this match is the winner. As much as I love AJ, her time with the belt should of ended tonight. She isn’t over anymore, and she offers nothing more to this reign. I was expecting a Total Diva to walk out with the title. Someone like Natalya, Nikki or Brie Bella or even Summer Rae would of made sense, but it seems WWE wants to hold onto Ms. Lee a bit longer.

WWE World Heavyweight Championship Match!

Randy Orton (c) vs. Batista vs. Daniel Bryan

and now it is time for our main event. Orton is out first to a live performance by Rev Theory! than Batista and out last is Bryan. I’m surprised Triple H didn’t come out and announce himself part of the match, but whatever. I gotta say this match was great. Bryan out did himself tonight with Two great matches, but Byran can;t be given all the credit because both Batista and Orton helped. In fact I think we saw those two fight one on one more than we saw Bryan. The match really started to pick up when Bryan had the YES! Lock, locked in on Batista and Triple H and Stephanie McMahon made thier way through the crowd and pulled the referee out! Than sending in rogue ref Scott Armstrong, made it feel it was over for Bryan, but he manged to kick out of The Batista Bomb and even got a good kick onto Armstrong. Bryan than dove out of the ring to take Armstrong, Triple H and even Steph out. The Game seeking retribution pulled out his trust sledgehammer but Bryan was able to get a hold of it and deck HHH with it. After that is where it went downhill for Bryan, as both Orton and Batista worked together to take out Bryan and even hit an amazing combination of The Batista Bomb and RKO through the Spanish Announce Table! Bryan seemed out of it has he was put in a neck brace and began to get stretched to the back, while Batista and Orton battled in the ring. Bryan was able to get out of the stretcher and urge himself back into the match, but paid for it when The Viper Struck. After some great back in forth action between the three, Bryan locked in the YES! Lock for a second time on Batista and forced him to tap out! Gaining him is retribution!

Winner and New WWE World Heavyweight Champion – Daniel Bryan

Rating – 9\10: This match was GREAT! Both Byran’s matches tonight could potentially be Match of the Year! As many mistakes as the WWE made tonight at Mania, this was no one of them. They gave Bryan his moment and I may not like the guy, but it is well deserved! At the Wrestlemania were the WWE rushed the Shield, let Cena bet Bray, ended The Streak and aloud Aj to continue her reign, the one thing they did right was give the WWE Universe what the really wanted and that is Daniel Bryan as the WWE World Heavyweight Champion!

Superstar of the Night – Brock Lesnar

Tonight was Daniel Bryan’s night, but Lesnar stole the show tonight! As much as Bryan deserves to be superstar of the night, I just can’t make him it. He accomplished a huge goal tonight. Competed in the best matches and won the World Title Finally! but he didn’t end the streak. 18 men have tried to end The Deadman’s streak and only one could, and even though I hate giving it to him and how pissed I am that The Streak ended that way and it still did. Brock Lesnar did the impossible tonight when he became the first and only man to defeat The Undertaker at Wrestlemania, and that is why he is the superstar of the night!
