Ready to Learn a New Style? Sunstars Releases a Bit of “Ghetto Funk”

Good evening everyone! For this mid-weekend break we bring you a newcomer to the MiR catalog with Italian trio Sunstars. With them they are bringing their latest huge release “Ghetto Funk” to please our ears. While this trio may have just reached our attention, Sunstars has actually been making waves since 2014 with their first release “Reckless” over on Ultra Music. This has let to plenty of collaboration, production, and remix opportunities that have opened several new doors for the trio. There will only be more to come now that Sunstars has joined the ever-growing Protocol roster.

Now has is “Ghetto Funk” in general? As as the standard with Protocol artists nowadays, Sunstars are able to take a traditional dance song and create plenty of uniqueness out of it. Sunstars starts us off with a bouncy baseline right from the get go and they expect us to start grindin’ right along? Well we will gladly as we learn “the sound of ghetto funk”. Sunstars, your production work and style is great and we can’t wait to hear more from you.

Make sure you give “Ghetto Funk” a full listen below:

Ultra Music’s Fresh Meat: Max Lean Releases His Summer 2017 Anthem “You & Me”

What is the best feeling that a small site like ours can feel? That feeling of accepting someone new into the fold. Today we have the latest from Max Lean, a relative newcomer to the scene, with “You & Me”. While we can say that Max Lean is a newcomer now, it won’t be for much longer. Max has already released on three major labels including Armada Music, Universal Music, and now Ultra. We hope that Max has finally found a hom with Ultra, as his talents and skills can only rise from here.

With being the newest to the Ultra Music label, especially right during festival season, Max had to make a serious splash with audiences. For “You & Me” he spent time in Spain and Germany with fellow artist Conrow in an attempt to make this year’s summer anthem. The combination of Conrow’s impressive vocal work and Max’s driving and groovy beats give “You & Me” a rather nonchalant vibe, but you can’t help but sing and sway along to each note and beat.

Be sure you give “You & Me” a full listen below:
