WWE NXT |7-3-14|Justin Gabriel and Tyson Kidd’s Bet!

Hello my friends and welcome to my review of this week’s edition on NXT! Tonight our advertised Main Event is Justin Gabriel with Tyson Kidd in his corner taking on Sami Zayn!

Colin Cassady W/ Enzo Amore vs. Sylvester Lefort W/ Marcus Louis

Big Cass and Amore are going to open up NXT as they make their way to the ring. Enzo cuts his normal promo before the match and Cassady began to talk about his opponent calling him Peppy Le’Pew. Lefort and Louis is out next and Lefort cuts a promo on Cass, and stating their is no challenge for him. The bell rings and the match is under way! Lefort starts off early with a couple of strikes and even countered Big Cass when he grabbed his throat, but Cassady hits The East River Crossing early and begins to set up for The Empire Elbow as the crowd chants along with him “S-A-W-F-T!” Colin covers Lefort to pick up an easy victory.

Winner – Colin Cassady

Grade – B-, I can kind of understand why Big Cass dominated over Lefort, but if the WWE has any plan of making The Legionaries look like a threat to the Tag Titles, there not doing a good job. The main reason for the grade is because of the amusing banter in the beginning of the match. It wasn’t a bad match, it was just to fast for it to even get good!

Backstage Interview W/ Adrian Neville (c)

Devin Taylor is backstage ready ton interview the NXT Champion, Adrian Neville. The two talk about his victory over RVD last week and how much of an honor it was for Neville, until the Number One Contender, Tyler Breeze comes in. Tyler talks about how it must be killing Neville to wonder when he will cash in his title shot. Neville said it’s quite the opposite and offers to put the title on the line tonight against him. Breeze aid he would love to, but sadly he suffers a career threatening injury while hand modeling, and shows his broken finger. I heard he suffered a broken finger, but luckily its a small injury that will heal in no time!

The BFF’s |Charlotte (c) & Sasha Banks| vs. Bayley & Becky Lynch

Banks and the NXT Womens Champion makes her way to the ring. The commentators discussed the recent problems between The BFF’s, but apparently Banks and Charlotte fixed things up and said “Every Boss needs a Flair, and every Flair needs a Boss!” Out next is Bayley and her new BFF “Bayley’s Friend Forever!”  Bayley stated that in a record promo before the match, where she also talked about how excited she was to take what remained of The BFF’s. Bayley and Sasha Banks started the match off! Bayley stayed in constant control landing several strikes on Banks and hitting her with many impressive moves before making the tag to Lynch. Becky climbed to the top rope as Bayley held on the Banks arm, Lynch jumps off the top rope and hits an Ax Handle onto Banks arm. Lynch grabbed her into a headlock, but Sasha pushes Becky back into her corer to make the tag to Charlotte! Charlotte comes in and keeps control over Becky Lynch, covering her for a pin of only two before Lynch slid her way out of it and began to take it to The NXT Womens Champion using her speed to her advantage. Becky and Bayley worked real together, keeping tags fresh and even clearing the ring of both The BFF’s when The Suplexed Charlotte and than Clotheslined Banks! The BFF’s raced out of the ring and Bayley and Becky are looking good, before the commercial break! Once back from the break, we see Bayley o the outside of the ring, while Charlotte tags in Banks back in the ring. Bayley quickly pulls Banks off the apron and starts to beat down on her on the outside of the ring, until The NXT Womens Champion, baseball slid under the ropes, right into the back of Bayley. The BFF’s took their opening and began to dominate over Bayley. Th BFF’s wear Bayley down with constant strikes and great teamwork. The NXT Womens Champion, uses her signature Figure Four Headlock on Bayley to wear her down even more, and no matter how hard Bayley tried The BFF’s had a counter for every move. After making the tag back into Sasha Banks, The BFF’s went to bounce Bayley off the ropes, but she quickly turned it around on them, trying them up and forcing The BFF’s to collide face first. As Bayley crawled to tag in Becky Lynch, Banks grabbed her leg and looked to strop her, but she pushed Sasha off and sent her into Charlotte and than made the tag to Lynch! The Fiery Red Head came in and began to take it to Banks with uppercuts and numerous Leg Drops before going for the pin for only two before Charlotte races in and breaks it up. Bayley races in and tries to take Charlotte out, but The NXT Womens Champion counters her and tosses her outside of the ring before getting the tag from Banks. Charlotte races in and dropkicks the leg of Becky Lynch, perfectly setting her up for Bow Down to the Queen! Charlotte hits in and covers her for the three!

Winners – The BFF’s |Charlotte (c) & Sasha Banks|

Grade – B,  Some solid tag team action here tonight between these four divas! After the match, Charlotte left the ring while Sasha stayed in to get her arm raised and to trash talk Becky Lynch some more. Bayley raced in and took Banks out before tossing her out of the ring. It seems like only a matter of time before The BFF’s explode! I still feel like where going to have a Triple Threat Match between all three of The BFF’s (Summer Rae, Sasha Banks & Charlotte) over the title, but Bayley seems to have change of character going for her. Were seeing he grow a little more aggressive, and with her history with Charlotte, I sure wouldn’t mind seeing a feud between those two in the future either!

Backstage Interview W/Justin Gabriel

Devin Taylor is backstage to interview Justin Gabriel, the two talk about his match with Sami Zayn latter tonight until Tyson Kidd interrupts when he calls Zayn a loser. Tyson talks to Gabriel about hos he lost to Adrian Neville and how is career is slowly falling into Purgatory! Tyson also states that the only way to stop it is to take your boot and step on the heads of anyone trying to rise up! Gabriel says Kidd is wrong and that he is going to prove it tonight when he beats Sami Zayn. Tyson seems to have officially turned heel, but I can’t help to see the truth in his words. While young talent such as Roman Reigns, Cesaro and The Wyatt’s rise up the once promising careers of Tyson Kidd and Gabriel are slowly dimming away, and it’s only a matter of time that they get the same phone call that Brodus Clay, Drew McIntyre and JTG all got recently, unless they do something about it!

The BFF’s |Charlotte (c) & Sasha Banks| Segment

Banks questions why Charlotte didn’t help her when Bayley attacked her. Charlotte answered by stating they won’t be tagging anymore and she wants to be on her own. Banks asks Charlotte if she knows how much she has done for her and quickly asks if this is about Summer. Charlotte quickly responds saying Summer only made it clearer, and Banks states the hr and Summer got along a lot better before Charlotte and announced that next week Bayley takes on Summer Rae for the Number One Contenderhship for the NXT Womens Championship! It seems The BFF’s have officially ended or at least Charlotte is no longer a member. The fact that Banks acknowledged her and Summer got along a lot better before Charlotte joined makes me feel those two will still stay BFF’s but who knows since Summer is on the main roster anyway! Either way, I suspect Banks to play a role in the number one contenders match o make sure her BFF, Summer wins!

CJ Parker vs. Steve Cutler

CJ Parker makes his way to the ring with a new entrance theme and video. The only real interesting thing to note is he took a sign from a fan that read “Woods” with and “X” over it. The commentators pointed out the Parker seems to have a problem with Xavier Woods. His opponent is already in the ring, and this match is under way!  Parker went right after Cutler not letting him get a single move in while he just showered him with punches while screaming at him that it is his fault the world is the way it is. CJ Parker stood back into the turnbuckle as he waited for Steve Cutler to get to his feet. Once Cutler was up on is feet, Parker hit him with a Heel Kick to win the match.

Winner – CJ Parker

Grade – B-, The match was really to quick to really judge, but this is the beginning of Parker’s new character so it was expected. The real reason why this grade was so high is because of Parker’s aftermath promo! CJ Parker grabbed the mic and spoke about Xavier Woods is about to t his doctors degree and than questions what he has done since he left NXT, before giving a brief rundown of what has has done. Parker said if he was in Woods’s position he’d win titles and make a name for himself while saving the world, and ended it by saying Woods has what he wants and he is coming for it. Even though the fans didn’t give him the response I feel he deserved, Parker look good in the ring tonight and cut a pretty good promo. It seems CJ has finally found his stride!

Renee Young Interview W/ Tyson Kidd

Renee Young sat down with Tyson Kidd in an interview where she could ask him anything. Young asked Tyson about Not shaking Neville’s hand after their match, his problems as of late with Natalya and walking out on his Tag Title match with Zayn. Tyson seemed o respond to every answer the same way basically saying his head wasn’t where is should be. It wasn’t until Young told Tyson that a lot of people are saying he and Nattie are going through some Martial Problems and asked if that was something Tyson would like to talk to her about. Tyson had other plans as he got up and walked away in disgust. This was a very different Tyson than from witch we saw earlier tonight. Tyson blamed a lot of things on just his mind not being in the right place and it makes me think this could go two different ways. One, Tyson is lying through his teeth or two, the guy has split personalities! Either way I’ve really been enjoying the character of Tyson Kidd as of late, and I feel he has become one of the best things NXT has to offer. Who knows maybe NXT is what Tyson needs to turn his career around!

Sami Zayn vs. Justin Gabriel W/Tyson Kidd

Sami makes his way to the ring to much fan fare, and out next is his opponent for the night, Justin Gabriel! Gabriel is being accompanied by Tyson Kidd, and the two seem to be getting along. It was brought up how both Gabriel and Kidd were Tag partners at some point, but the match was very Chain Wrestling heavy in the beginning with Zayn controlling Justin no matter what he did. Gabriel had to use the ropes several times to get Zayn ff him and every time he looked over at Kidd, while Tyson just shook his head and said I told you so. Justin finally got back in the match as Zayn bounced him off the ropes, he held on and than took Sami down with a clothesline and followed up with a stiff kick before covering him for a two and than commercial break! Back from the break, and we see Gabriel is still controlling Zayn with some stiff strikes and follows up with a Spinning Kick, connecting right on the jaw of Zayn that only gives him a two count. Justin does not let Zayn take a break as he picks him and and hits him with and under hook suplex and than floats over to lock in a chicken wing, before covering him for a two again. Justin now connection with some heavy strikes onto the skull of Zayn on the ropes. Sami begins to fight back landing some heavy strikes of his own before Gabriel sweeps him off his feet, sending Zayn face first into the canvas, but once again only for a two count! Justin seems to be getting frustrated as he forces Zayn up and once again hits him with some heavy strikes to the face and also connecting with some Knife Edge Chops to the chest! Gabriel bounces Zayn off the ropes and Sami counters into a clothesline and begins to take it to Gabriel before taking him down with a drop kick. Once Justin is back to his feet Sami hits him with a Blue Thunder Bomb for a two count! As Sami tries to get Justin to his feet, Gabriel hits a jaw breaker that sends Zayn back into the turnbuckle. Gabriel runs at him with a forearm but Zayn caught him and landed The Exploder Suplex! Sami than backed up into the corner across from Gabriel and ran at him with The Helluva Kick, but Justin moved and leaped at Zayn. Sami got out of the way but Justin landed on the second turnbuckle and lept off it to land a kick right on the jaw of Zayn for a two! Gabriel goes for a German Suplex but Sami gets his elbow in, but Gabriel ducks the other one and lifts him up into the potion of a Whit Noise, but Gabriel instead drops Zayn neck right on to his knee, but once again Sami kicks out. Gabriel than hits a springboard moonsault but once again Zayn kicks out. Gabriel now frustrated hits Zayn with a back breaker that sets him up for the 450 Splash! Gabriel climbs to the top turnbuckle but Zayn is now up and the two begin to battle on the top rope, until Gabriel as no choice but to jump over Sami. Gabriel ruses over to Sami, but Zayn catches him off guard and hits a reverse Russian Leg Sweep, before locking in the Koji Clutch  to force Justin Gabriel to tap out!

Winner Sami Zayn

Grade – B+, Once the match ended, Tyson got in the ring to check on Gabriel. Zayn looked over at Tyson, but the second Zayn turned his head Tyson jumped him from behind and started stomping on Zayn. Gabriel got to his feet and asked Tyson what he was doing before Kidd talked him into kicking Zayn. Both Tyson and Gabriel began to beat down on Sami until the NXT Champion, Adrian Neville raced to his rescue! Gabriel and Sami put on the match of the night tonight, but let’s be honest there wasn’t much competition tonight! Justin does not prove Tyson wrong, but it seemed like the two of joined sides once again. I have no problem with this! I felt that Kidd and Gabriel made a great team before Tyson was injured. The only thing I wonder is if they will challenge for the NXT Tag Titles and maybe even become an official team of the WWE. One thing my gut is telling me, is that Neville may defend his tile in a Fatal Four Way against Zayn, Kidd and Gabriel! and that’s a a match I believe we all can get excited about!

Superstar of the Night – Tyson Kidd

Tyson may not have stepped into the ring tonight, but he didn’t have to! The show seemed to revolve around him tonight! From interrupting Justin earlier in the night, to his interview with Renee Young and of course to him ending the show beating down on Zayn along while Gabriel helped! Kidd has quickly become one of the top heels in NXT and is also becoming one of the more entertaining stars on the roster, and now with a potential new tag team partner with Justin Gabriel! Tyson Kidd may find himself wearing Tag Team Gold pretty soon and maybe even the NXT World title if he Fatal Four Way prediction is correct!

Money in the Bank 2014 – And Your New Champion Is…..

Hello my friends, and welcome to my review of one of my favorite PPVs, Money in the Bank. Tonight’s advertised match ups are two ladder matches! Our first one is for the Money in the Bank Ladder Match! Seth Rollins, Dean Ambrose, Dolph Ziggler, Kofi Kingston, Jack Swagger, RVD & Originally our Intercontinental Champion, Bad News Barrett but due to a shoulder injury he suffered on Smackdown. Our other ladder match is for the vacant WWE World Heavyweight Championship. John Cena, Roman Reigns, Alberto Del Rio, Kane, Randy Orton, Bray Wyatt, Cesaro and the WWE United States Champion, Sheamus!

WWE Tag Team Championship!

The Usos (c) |Jimmy & Jey Uso| vs. The Wyatt Family (Luke Harper & Eric Rowan)

Usos are out first and out next is The Wyatt Family to a new theme song! Originally we heard a young child singing “He’s Got The Whole World and than went into some generic rock music. Luke Harper and I believe Jey Uso started the match up, and The Usos took early control with strikes and kicks and an early tag made to Jimmy Uso. Once Jimmy got it the control quickly turned to the Wyatt’s as Harper landing some powerful moves and tags in Rowan. Eric Rowan continues the beatdown on Jimmy, and making frequent tags to each other. Once Rowan was tagged back in he attempting a fall away slam, Jey managed to get out of it and fall back into his corner where Jey takes a tag. We see some nice teamwork by The Usos that earn them a two count as both Jimmy and Rowan continued to brawl until the both eventually found their way to the outside of the ring, where Jey Uso jumped onto the barricade separating the crowd from the action and lept off it, landing a flying forearm onto Rowan. The two find themselves back in the ring, where Jey is perched on the top rope and leaps onto Rowan for a cross body that only brings him a two! Jey once again attempted to use the top turnbuckle to fly off of, but Luke Harper had a different idea as he walked over and tried to stop Jey but only got a punched for it, but the distraction proved to be enough, because once Jey got onto the top turnbuckle Rowan came up from behind and pushed him off sending The Uso face first into the barricade on the outside of the ring. Harper gets the tag and he jumps off the apron and rushes at Jey, stomping on his face on the outside of the ring. Harper tosses Jey back in the ring for a near fall count and continues the beatdown. The Wyatt Family hold control for quite a long time, wearing Jey out with numerous slams and heavy strikes. It seemed like Jey was about to tag in Jimmy after countering one of Eric Rowan’s move, but Rowan made the tag to Harper and Luke Harper ran over to The Uso corner to take Jimmy out before he could make the tag. Harper runs at Jey Uso, landing a big boot that was only good for a two before making the tag back to Rowan. Eric Rowan came in out and hit a huge scoop slam on Jey, but a miss splash aloud Jey to get up to his feet and into the turnbuckle, Rowan ran at him full force but Jey moved out of the way and Rowan’s shoulder went right into the steel post. Both Eric Rowan and Jey Uso make the tags to their partners. Jimmy Uso comes rushing in taking it to both members of The Wyatt Family, hitting them with Samoan drops and ramming his rear end right into a downed Rowan and following up with a beautiful corkscrew moonsault on Harper that only gets him a two. Jimmy continues to control the match, taking Rowan out of the ring and hitting a couple super kicks to Harper that once again only give him a two count. On the outside of the ring Eric Rowan as Jey Uso, Jimmy though leaps over the ropes onto Rowan to save his brother, but it may have cost him as The Wyatt’s once again control the champs. We see the two teams exchange some blows, but The Wyatt’s still end up with the upper hand. Rowan held Jey Uso still on the outside while Luke Harper jumped through the ropes at him, Jimmy Uso looked to do the same thing as he leaped over the ropes hoping to catch Rowan off guard, but Eric Rowan caught him in mid air and held him still, just like he did to Jey so Harper can fly through the ropes and land on him and than tossing him back into the ring. Both members of The Wyatt Family lifted Jimmy up by his arm and slamming him back into the canvas, but Jey broke up the pin before the thee count. Jey took Harper out of the ring, and Rowan took Jey out. Rowan saw Jimmy laying in the middle of the ring and went to climb up the to the top turnbuckle, but Jimmy got up and shook the ropes to force him to slip. Tag was made and both The Usos climbed to the top and hit Eric Rowan with a superplex! Jimmy tagged back in a climbed to the top rope. Before jumped of the top, Jey tagged himself in and The Usos landed back to back Superfly Splashes to retain the championship!

Winners & Still WWE Tag Team Champions – The Usos

Grade – B+, What a match to start off the night. We have seen The Wyatt’s and The Usos clash before, but never over the tag belts! Tonight both teams went out there and continued to show that the WWE Tag Tea, Titles still mean something. The Usos faced their toughest test to date as champions and they prevailed in what was a great match. I doubt this is the last time we’ll see these two teams battling over those titles!

Dean Ambrose Promo

Micheal Cole talks about what has happened to The Shield in the past weeks. We see a recap of what happened from when Rollins betrayed The Shield to just last week on Raw. Dean Ambrose is shown backstage and he talked about his match tonight and of course Seth Rollins. He kept talking about how it would be hard to choose to use the ladder to get  the briefcase or to bash Rollins face than, but after thinking about it, he said “Why not” He ended the promo saying that he was going win and that daddy (Triple H) won’t be to happy.

WWE Divas Championship

Paige (c) vs. Naomi W/Cameron

Naomi is out first, and despite the differences between the two it seems Cameron will accompany her to the ring. Out next is the Divas Champion, and once the introductions are done, were on our way. The two divas started off very even as the tried to gain control over each other. They tossed each other into the barricade and the side of the ring and eventually got back into the ring after the ref reached a 7 count. The two divas continued to be on even footing until Paige hit a unique maneuver that looked like a form of the head scissors. Once again Naomi leaves the ring, and Paige began to go after her but Naomi grabbed her on tossed her off the apron to the outside of the ring, she than got back into the ring and jumped over the ropes to land a flying crossbody onto The Divas Champion on the outside of the ring! Naomi is back in the ring and Paige does not get into the ring until the ref reaches a seven count. Back inside the ring, The Divas Champ and her challenger are battling back and forth while on the outside, Naomi’s tag team partner, Cameron does not seem to entertained by the match. Naomi and Paige begin to trade pins back and forth that eventually led to Naomi locking Paige in a submission hold of quite a long time. Once Paige is out of the hold Naomi went to the top rope, but Paige was close behind and she kicked Naomi’s foot forcing her to lose her balance. The Divas Champion climbed to the top with Naomi and it looked like she was going to superplex her but instead both the divas fell to the outside of the ring. Both divas did not get back into the ring until an eight count. Once back in the ring, Naomi and Paige go back in forth.Naomi takes back control of the match landing a Rear View on Paige for only a two. She went to follow up with a split legged moonsault, but Paige got her knees up. Paige  locked Naomi in an interesting submission hold, that honestly didn’t look like it hurt that much. Paige turned the submission hold into a pin for only two. During the hold Cameron seemed to be rooting for Paige. At the end of the match Paige lifted Naomi up and planted her down with a beautiful version of the DDT!

Winner and still WWE Divas Champion – Paige

Grade – B+, That was a Divas Match. Ever since Paige has won the championship she hasn’t been used to her full potential, but finally the WWE let the Divas work and this is what we get. Naomi and Paige fought over the Divas Championship and made it feel more prestigious than it has since its debut. If WWE allows the Divas to put on matches like this, the Diva division will no longer be a joke! I hope to see these two clash over the title again, and I have a feeling Cameron will find her way into a Divas title match Even though he is not a great wrestler, a Triple Threat Match may be able to hide it. Either way I want more Diva matches like tonight!

Damien Sandow vs. Adam Rose W/The Exotic Express

Damien Sandow comes down to the ring dressed as Paul Revere. He calls The Rosebuds and The crowd tonight a bunch of halfwits and informs the crowd that if he knew the Boston was going to be inhabited by you people, I would of warned no one! He ends his mic time by stating Boston will always be in the shadow of New York! Adam Rose and The Exotic Express make their way to the ring and Rose tells Sandow not to be a party pooper and claims that Boston is the place to party. He than tells Sandow to not be a lemon, Sandow swung at him and Rose fell into The Exotic Express and they propelled him back onto the apron and Rose ends it by telling Sandow to be a Rosebud before jamming his shoulder into his gut and tossing him over the ropes and down to the outside of the ring. Once Sandow is back in the ring the match officially begins and Rose starts off with his usual antics like smacking the rear end of Sandow, and using the ropes to smash Sandow face first into his.. but Damien was not having it tonight. Sandow really took it to Rose through out the match and even countered Rose’s “Cho Cho” with a huge clothesline. Sandow lifted Rose up and planted him with a Full Nelson Slam and covered him for a two. Sandow went for a moonsault, but Rose moved out of the way and hit The Part Foul to pick up the win.

Winner – Adam Rose

Grade – B, If you thought this was going to be another job for Damien Sandow, you were wrong. Despite still performing under these stupid characters, Damien shined tonight as he gave Rose his toughest challenge yet, but it wasn’t enough for him tonight as Adam Rose and his Exotic Express rolled through him tonight, but not without a challenge!

Money in the Bank Ladder Match.

Seth Rollins vs. RVD vs. Jack Swagger W/ Zeb Colter vs. Dolph Ziggler vs. Kofi Kingston vs. Dean Ambrose.

As I mentioned before, The WWE Intercontinental Champion will not be in the match due to suffering a shoulder injury this past Friday Night Smackdown. It’s really a shame, because he was one of the heavy favorites to win and he was also my choice. Seth Rollins was the first superstar to make his entrance and Dean Ambrose was the last, and Ambrose did not wait for the bell to ring, as he rushed into the ring and went right after his former Shield Mate! Ambrose and Rollins brawl to the outside of the ring, while back in the ring Kofi clears the ring quick, just leaving him and Rob Van Dam. Kingston battles RVD until Swagger makes his way into the ring with a ladder. Kofi dropkicks the ladder into Swagger’s face and than lands a stiff kick to the side of the skull the laid Swagger onto the ladder and set him up for The Boom Drop. After using the ladder to clear Swagger from the ring Kofi set it up and began to climb, but Dean Ambrose comes back in and pushes the ladder over, and Kofi uses the ropes to springboard himself into RVD,Swagger and Ziggler on the outside of the ring! Back in the ring, Ambrose sets up the ladder and begins to climb, but Seth Rollins pulls him down and the two took turns pulling and climbing the ladder, until Dean had enough and smashed Rollins face first into the ladder. Dean Ambrose set another ladder up into the turnbuckle and attempted to suplex Rollins onto int, but Seth blocked and once again the two took turns trying to suplex each other onto the ladder, until Ambrose hooked Rollins arms and tossed him into the ladder. Ambrose once again alone in the ring sets up the ladder and begins to climb, but Jack Swagger gets in and pulls him down. Both Ambrose and Swagger take turns climbing the ladder and than everyone showed up besides RVD and Rollins. Swagger and Ambrose were on the outside of the ring while Kofi and Dolph battled at the top of the ladder of the briefcase. Swagger briefly came in and attempted to tip the ladder over, but Kofi pushed him off and Ambrose clotheslined him over the ropes while Kofi and Ziggler did the same to Ambrose. The two both raced back up the ladder and began to fight at the top once again and did not drop off the ladder until the each grabbed a handful of hair and pulled each other down. The two brawled while Seth Rollins tossed a ladder between the one set up in the ring, to connect with both Ziggler and Kingston. Van Dam comes in a drop kicks the ladder into Rollins and begins to hit a variety of his signature moves such as the Monkey Flip and used to ladder to his advantage to hit a Rolling Thunder! RVD continued to dominated as he took care of Dean Ambrose, Dolph Ziggler and Jack Swagger and earned himself a “You Still Got It” Chant for the Boston Crowd. RVD begins to climb the ladder and gets very close to the briefcase, but Kofi is there to make sure he does not grab it, as is Swagger. Kofi and RVD work together for a few seconds as they both toss the ladder right into Swagger, and Kofi quickly runs at RVD afterwards and kicks him right in the gut. RVD and Kofi battle each other in the turnbuckle. It looked like Kofi was going to hit RVD with a superplex, but Jack Swagger ran in and rammed a ladder into the lower back of Kofi Kingston. Swagger than set up a huge ladder in the corner and began to climb it to the top and pull RVD up. Swagger looked like he was going to hit a suplex off of this huge ladder, but RVD fought him off and sent him flying off the ladder and down to the canvas! RVD poised to hit Swagger with a Five Star Frog Splash from the top of the ladder, but Seth Rollins climbed up and began to fight with RVD, while Swagger ran up from behind and power bombed RVD off that ladder. Swagger looked like he was going to go after Rollins, but Ambrose rushed in and smashed Jack’s face against the ladder and than climbed to the top and began to brawl with Rollins before suplexing him off the top of that ladder, taking a huge fall himself! Ambrose back up with a ladder, but not for to long as Ziggler dropkicks the ladder into him. Ziggler went to drop kick Swagger, but Jack caught him and sling shot Ziggler into the ladder leaning on the ropes with Dean Ambrose behind it. Kofi is in but its not long before Swagger slams Kofi down and than plants a ladder on him to hit The Swagger Splash. Jack Swagger now along in the ring begins to climb the ladder, but RVD is back in, and the two begin to climb before Dean Ambrose and Seth Rollins come in and pull them down and take them out of the ring. Both Ambrose and Rollins climb the ladder and begin to brawl at the top. Ambrose begins to swing and hit Rollins with everything he has got until Rollins falls off the ladder. Ambrose begins to climb the ladder, but once again jack Swagger is there and pulls Ambrose down, Dean manages to reverse the move into his DDT, but it seem like he hurt himself on the fall down. Rollins begins to climb the ladder and Dean tries to push it down, but couldn’t because of his shoulder, but eventually just rams into the ladder to make sure Rollins doesn’t win. The Doctors begin to check on Ambrose and after arguing with them Dean heads to the back to get checked on. Meanwhile back in the ring Seth Rollins begins to climb the ladder and almost wins it, but RVD prevents him and the two brawl at the top. While that happens Kofi Kingston slides a ladder between the rungs of the one Rollins and RVD are fighting. Kofi climbs up and all three brawl until RVD get hung up on the ladder before falling down. Kofi and Rollins fight at the tops and Kofi tosses Rollins over his shoulder and down onto the ladder Kofi bridged in! Kofi reaches for the briefcase and almost gets it but Ziggler pulls him down. Ziggler and Kofi go back and forth but Kofi gains the advantage and begins to clear the ring of his competitors hitting a fame-asser on RVD, super kicking a ladder into Swagger’s Jaw and Zig Zagging Kofi Kingston into a ladder. Dolph began to climb the ladder but Jack Swagger locks a Patriot Lock in on Ziggler, Ziggler fights through the pain and pulls himself up the ladder using on his arms until he pushed Swagger off. Ziggler almost pulls the briefcase down, but Seth Rollins smashes a chair right on the ankle of Ziggler, sending him off the ladder. Seth began to climb, and it looked like he had it won, but Dean Ambrose rushed back to the ring and began to beat down on Rollins with the steel chair, before he climbed up the ladder. Ambrose had the match one, but Kane’s music played and he made his way to the ring. Dean Ambrose tried to fight off Kane, but eventually The Big Red Monster planted Ambrose with a Chokeslam and a Tombstone Piledriver, before holding the ladder still, so Seth Rollins can pull down the briefcase.

Winner & Mr. Money in the Bank – Seth Rollins

Grade – A+, What a match. You know earlier this week a good friend of mine, said he was worried for this match because the talent in it (besides Barrett, Ambrose and Rollins) are kind used a enhancement talent as of late, but tonight everyone had a chance to shine. The feud between Ambrose and Rollins was played beautifully here, and I’ll admit being a big Ambrose fan I marked out when he almost won and than felt my heart shattered when I heard Kane’s music. Rollins said it best in his interview “Plan A, I win or there is Plan B. I win!” Tonight The Authority got what they wanted and The man who broke The Shield is now Mr. Money in The Bank!

Backstage Interview W/ Randy Orton

Byron Saxton is backstage with Randy Orton. Orton talks about how his chances are great tonight and mentions how Rollins needed help to win his match, but he won’t need any help tonight and weather anyone likes it or not he is walking out WWE World Heavyweight Champion tonight. When asked about Roman Reigns, Orton gave Saxton an uncomfortable stare before Byron thanks Orton for his time.

Rybaxel (Ryback & Curtis Axel) vs. Goldust & Stardust

Rybaxel is out first and it seems Curtis Axel has changed his ring gear from Underwear to a singlet just like Ryback. Out next is the team of Goldust and Stardust. The match starts off with Stardust and Axel. Stardust took early control over Axel staying one step ahead of him and hitting him with many strikes. Stardust cartwheels over and lands a dropkick onto Axel. He makes the tag to Goldust and the two show off their team work, as Stardust leaps off of Goldust’s back to hit a forearm on a running Curtis Axel. Goldust continues to dominate Axel and tags Stardust back in, but Axel pulls his arm away and tags in The Big Guy! Stardust poses to the crowd as Ryback gets in and the two stare each other down. Stardust manages to stay one step ahead of Ryback, avoiding every one of his moves and taking him down with a forearm. Stardust tags in Goldust, but after Ryback lands a boot to the gut of Goldust, he began to dominate. Rybaxel dominated over Goldust frequently tagging each other in and wearing Goldust down with power moves like the suplex and submission moves like the headlock. Goldust tried to fight back many times, but Rybaxel continued their dominance. Ryback began to measure Goldust up for the Big Meat Hook Clothesline. He screamed “I Still Got It” to the WWE Universe before running at Goldust. Goldust got his elbow up catching Ryback off guard and he rolled over to tag in Stardust. Stardust leaps over Ryback and avoids his clothesline taking Ryback down with a forearm and even taking Axel down as well over on the apron. Stardust continued to control the match, almost picking up the victory! Stardust was looking to hit Cross Rhodes but Ryback reversed and lifted Stardust up on his shoulder and looked to hit Shell Shock, but Stardust dropped down and hit Cross Rhodes and almost won but Axel broke it up. Goldust took Axel out of the ring while Stardust rolled Ryback up from behind to pick up the win!

Winners – Goldust & Stardust

Grade – B+, After the match, Curtis Axel attacked Stardust from behind and looked to take him out, but this set him up for The Dust Brothers to hit him with their finisher. A great match between two great teams in our tag division. Stardust and Goldust are a new team and picking up a victory over the very strong team in Rybaxel is pretty bit. One has to wonder if Stardust and Goldust have their eyes on The Usos.

Backstage Interview W/Fandango

Byron Saxton is backstage and they talk about Fandango’s current love triangle and how he is going to call it down the middle. Layla and Summer Rae come in and brag about their better assets before breaking out into an argument until Fandango breaks it up!

Rusev W/ Lana vs. Big E

Lana and Rusev make their way to the ring, Rusev is waving The Russian Flag as they make their way to the ring. Lana cuts a promo in the ring and talks about The American Flag and calls it a joke and claims Vladimir Putin will be watching this match before Rusev grabs the mic and says tonight he crushes Big E! Big E makes his way to the ring waving the American Flag. A video is played during his entrance of Big E talking in the preaching voice he did on Raw about his upcoming match. The match starts off and the two big men begin to take it to each other. Trading blows back and forth until Big E gained the upper hand by clotheslining Rusev out of the ring. Rusev tried to get back in the ring  but hung on the apron as  Big E landed a hard hit and went for the spear threw the ropes like last time, but Rusev saw it coming and got his knee up. The Bulgarian Brute got into the ring and began to dominate Big E. Rusev continued to control the match with heavy strikes and deadly submissions, and whenever Big E tried to get back in the match Rusev would shower him with strikes. Rusev bounced off the ropes and went for a splash but Big E moved out of the way and hit Rusev with a Belly to Belly suplex for a two count. Big E and Rusev began to brawl once again with Rusev getting the advantage as Big laid in wait in the turnbuckle Rusev built up speed and ran at the former Intercontinental Champion. Big E managed to catch Rusev and slam him into the mat for a two count. Big E hit a belly to belly and Rusev rolled out onto the apron. Big E built up speed and speared Rusev through the ropes and down to the outside of the ring. Lana screamed at Rusev while Big E tossed Rusev back in the ring. Rusev seems to be spitting out blood and is hurt, while Big E pulls the straps down and waits for Rusev to get up to hit The Big Ending. Rusev once again rolled out to the apron, avoiding The Big Ending, Big E went after Rusev, but Rusev landed a stiff kick to the side of Big E’s skull. Rusev got it and hit Big E with a huge superkick before locking in The Accolade. Big E tried to fight out and it appeared he might have been able to, as he got on his knees, but Rusev pulled further back and forced Big E to tap out.

Winner – Rusev

Grade – B+, Another great match between these two. I wish WWE would invest more time into their feud. Big E took it to Rusev tonight and gave him his toughest challenge to date, but The Super Athlete continues to dominate, and I think it’s for Rusev to move on from Big E and onto Sheamus and the WWE United States Championship.

Backstage Segment W/ The Bella Twins & Stephanie McMahon

Both Brie and Nikki are backstage talking about Vickie Guerrero until Stephanie came up and asked why Brie was here. Nikki said she invited her as her guest and Steph told Nikki “Not to think, It’s not what The Bellas do best.” Brie shows Steph her new favorite video and we get to see Steph in the mud bath from last week and Steph eventually calls security to take Brie out of the building.

Special Referee Match

Referee – Fandango

Layla vs. Summer Rae

Fandango makes his way to the ring first and Summer and Layla soon follow. As the match begins we see Summer flirt with Fandango before the two divas begin to go at it. Summer Rae takes the early control slamming Layla into the turnbuckle and choking Layla with her foot and distracting Fandango with her long legs. Layla pushes her off and she falls into Fandango and it looked like the two were about to kiss before Layla turned her around and began to beat her down.Layla locked Summer in a submission move and Fandango very awkwardly looked on. As the two got to their feet Summer Rae planted Layla with a DDT for only a two. Two end the match Layla landed a stiff kick to the side of the skull and covered Summer for the three. Fandango and Layla make out and head out of the arena leaving Summer in the ring crying.

Winner – Layla

Grade – C+, Not many people cared for this feud. I for one found the feud entertaining but not really what they were fighting over. I think it would of worked out a lot better if Summer returned and Fandango and Layla continued to interview and cost Summer her matches. I don’t know just weird to hear her say on NXT that it doesn’t bother her to now all of a sudden wanting him? Either way the two went out their and put on a decent match up but no one cared enough to notice.

WWE World Heavyweight Championship Ladder Match

U.S Champion Sheamus vs. Bray Wyatt vs. Alberto Del Rio vs. Cesaro W/ Paul Heyman vs. John Cena vs. Randy Orton vs. Roman Reigns vs. Kane

Triple H and Stephanie McMahon make their way to the ring first to watch the following match. All the superstars make their way to the ring and this match is under way. Everyone begins to brawl for quite awhile until Kane and Randy Orton clear the ring of everyone besides John Cena. The duo begins to beat down on Cena until Alberto Del Rio and Cesaro made their way into the ring with a ladder and began to take everyone out with it. Wyatt got back in the ring and ran at the two, jumping at them and lands a cross body on the ladder, taking both Del Rio and Cesaro down. Cena and Wyatt begin to battle, and Cena attempts to lift Bray up for the AA but Wyatt slides down and slams Cena gut first into the ladder. Roman Reigns gets in the ring and Wyatt and Reigns stare each other down before Reigns takes him down with a Samoan Drop. Roman begins to climb the ladder, but The U.S Champion, Sheamus pulls him down and takes him out and begins to climb the ladder himself until Kane comes in. Kane and Sheamus brawl while Reigns comes in with another ladder but beings to fight with Orton. It’s not to long before Roman Reigns gets rid of Orton. Both Sheamus and Reigns pick up ladders and sandwich Kane in between them. Roman and Sheamus set up their ladders and climb to the titles along with Cesaro and Del Rio joining him. Kane pushed over a ladder with Sheamus and Del Rio and than the other with Reigns and Cesaro. The Big Red Monster began to clear the ring of everyone before setting a ladder up. Kane grabbed Orton by the throat and threw him over near the ladder as he held the ladder still so Orton could climb. Randy began to climb but Roman Reigns came in and took out Kane and pushed the ladder over, sending Orton off as well. The ladder seemed to smack Orton in the head on the way down, as Roman takes out Kane and sets up a ladder. Reigns begins to ascend the ladder, but Wyatt comes in and pulls him down and soon Cena follows. John Cena is looking to hit Bray Wyatt with the Five Knuckle Shuffle, but as he turned around Cesaro tossed him high in the air and connected with The Uppercut! Cesaro and Sheamus began to climb the ladder again, battling over the title! While Bray Wyatt Spider-Walked to the side of the ladder and pulled it out form underneath Cesaro and Sheamus. Cesaro and Sheamus are now hanging for the two title belts and Sheamus soon falls, but Cesaro holds on for longer but not to much longer before he falls as well. Wyatt jumps and lands on top of Cesaro while Randy Orton is shown being checked on until he races away from the docs and gets back in the match, immediately going after Del Rio. Orton set a ladder up between the ring and the Spanish announce table, Sheamus comes over and starts slamming Orton’s face into the ladder before climbing on top of it. Orton swept Sheamus’s feet from under him and Sheamus hits the ladder hard. Orton than sets him up and hits The Hangman DDT from the ladder. Orton set up a ladder and everyone came into the ring and tried to climb it until Kane cleared the ring. The Red Machine turned his attention towards Sheamus, but The U.S Champ turned it around and hit the 10 Beats onto Kane’s chest. Sheamus than cleared the ring and began to set the ladder up, but before he could climb it Kane grabbed his foot and dragged him to the outside of the ring. Sheamus and Kane fought on the outside, Sheamus eventually tossed Kane into the steel steps and got back in the ring. Meanwhile Cesaro slid another ladder in between the rungs of the one in the middle of the ring and he and Sheamus began to brawl at the top of the ladder. Reigns made his way into the ring but as Del Rio slide the ladder even further through the other rungs, he connected with Reigns gut. Roman fought through the pain as he tilted the ladder over on Sheamus and Cesaro making a kind of jungle gym scenario where Cesaro had to climb around the ladders to get to the titles while Sheamus had to reach further. Cena came back in and titled the ladder back the right way and the brawl of superstars began. Bray suplexed Cena onto the ladders and Kane sent Bray face first into a ladder and than cleared the ring with Orton. Kane goes to hold the ladder for Orton again, but Roman Reigns dives through the ladder and spears Kane. Orton pushed the ladder over and it hit Reigns in the back of the head. Orton looked to take advantage but it was not long before Reigns connected with The Superman Punch and began to take out all his competitors! Reigns impressed on the outside of the ring as he slammed Wyatt face first onto the announce table, landed his signature dropkick on the apron to Del Rio and than to Wyatt on the table and ended it with a spear to Cesaro. Roman got back in the ring as did Cena and the two began to square off until Reigns took him down with A Spear! Roman began to climb the ladder but Randy Orton came in and forced Reigns down with an impressive signature back breaker from Orton. Orton begins to climb the ladder but Wyatt pulls him down and hits Sister Abigail. Bray begins to climb up the ladder but Del Rio is there to take him down and begin to climb the ladder himself until Sheamus comes in and pushes The Ladder over and connecting with A Brogue Kick From Sheamus. The U.S Champ begins to climb the ladder and comes pretty close until Cesaro is in and pulls him down and connects with an European Uppercut. Now Cesaro climbs until Orton is back in and catches Cesaro with an RKO. Randy begins to climb the ladder but Reigns is in and he begins to climb as well, nailing Orton with headbutts every step he takes until he knocks The Viper Down! Roman begins to climb again until Kane grabs him by the throat and slams him down. The Big Red Machine once again holds the ladder for Orton as he climbs, but this time Cena is in and hits Kane with an Attitude Adjustment, before lifting Orton up onto his shoulder and hitting another AA onto Kane. Cena climbs the ladder and pulls down the championship to become The Third Ever WWE World Heavyweight Champion.

Winner & New WWE World Heavyweight Champion – John Cena

Grade – A-, Not as good as the other ladder match tonight, but when you think about it this one had more, so there is a reason why it was slower. All 8 men went out there with a mission. 7 of them wanted the WWE World Heavyweight Championship and One just had to make sure Randy Orton won. Sheamus really stood out to me tonight as did many stars. Cesaro and Bray whoa are two young stars on the rise didn’t have many highlights tonight. Everybody else though put on one hell of a match, and Orton took one nasty cut. My only real problem with this match is the winner. I fully expected Cena to walk away as champ, but that does not mean I think it was right. WWE had an opportunity to elevate one of its young rising stars in Cesaro, Bray Wyatt and Roman Reigns. but tonight the instead went with the safe route and gave it to Cena. The Authority does not seem to happy that Cena won, and I can’t even imagine who Cena will face at Battleground. I wanna say Randy Orton, but I don’t think WWE is stupid enough to do that again.

Superstar of the Night – John Cena

It may be a little obvious, but Cena is the Superstar of the night. It doesn’t matter how much better your match was than his or how much more work you put in, he walked out the New WWE World Heavyweight Champion. Some love it! Others don’t, but he is now a 15 time World Champion!

WWE NXT |6-19-14| Tyson Pulls the Trigger!

Hello my friends, and welcome to my review of this week’s edition of NXT! Tonight, after losing his second opportunity at the NXT Championship, what does the future hold for Tyson Kidd.

Natalya & JBL Segment.

Before the show begins we are shown a video from backstage at Raw! Nattie explains to JBL that Tyson has had a bad week and he just needs something different. She tosses the idea of Kidd and Sami Zayn forming a tag team. JBL seems to like the idea and takes it into consideration.

Sasha Banks W/Summer Rae & Charlotte (c) vs. Alexa Bliss

Our first match of the night, is a  match that was announced last week. There was a bit of an altercation last week between The BBFs that led to Bliss challenging Sasha to a match. Banks makes her way to the ring first with both Summer Rae and the NXT Womens Champion, Charlotte following her. Out next is Bliss, nothing to important happened in either of the entrances, it was noted however by the commentators that The BFFs have been getting along as of late, a huge change from last week. The two stare each other down before the match begins, once the bell is rung the two divas begin to circle around each other. Banks makes the first move by shoving the face of Bliss. Bliss smiled it off, but Sasha get a headlock on Bliss only for a few moments before Alexa bounces Banks off. Sasha avoids Alexa’s move, but Bliss quickly gets back up to her feet and takes Banks down. Sasha quickly up the her feet, she tosses Bliss off the ropes and catches her but Ms. Bliss turns it around on Sasha and covers her for a short count of one. Bliss quickly got to her feet, but Bliss planted Banks as she got up, sending her into the turnbuckle. Bliss quickly runs at Banks and hits her with a monkey flip. She quickly ran at her as Banks got up, but she seemed to have tripped, allowing Sasha to pick her up and lock her in a headlock. The headlock did not last long though as Alexa broke out of it and hit Banks with a forearm, before bouncing off the ropes. Unfortunately for Bliss, Banks saw her coming and reversed her move into an impressive tilt a-whirl back breaker that only earned her a two count. Banks slaps Bliss around before locking her into a surfboard stretch that lasted quite awhile. Alexa Bliss hung in there though as Banks was forced to let go of the submission hold after Banks grabbed a handful of Bliss’s hair only letting go of the hold as the ref reached four in his five count. Summer and Charlotte begin to have problems on the outside of the ring. They began to argue and accuse each other for doing stuff, while Banks continued to dominate Bliss in the ring. Eventually the bickering on the outside of the ring caught Banks attention as she went to check on them. Banks distracted by her fellow BFFs, Bliss runs from behind and rolls her up for a three count!

Winner – Alexa Bliss

Grade – C, It was not long after the match ended the Summer Rae and The NXT Womens Champion, Charlotte began to get physical. Charlotte pushed Summer, Summer slapped Charlotte and The BFFs began to argue including Banks. It seems like the end is near for The Beautiful Fierce Females. As for Bliss, she earns a huge victory here tonight over Banks. I don’t see her getting a title shot soon, but for someone as new as her to only have one defeat on her record to the current NXT Womens Champion, is sure says a lot for the confidence in her. At times it seemed like Bliss or Banks messed up and it did feel a bit rushed, but it served its purpose. Add fuel to the fire of the feud between The BFFs. Originally it looked like it was going to be between Summer and Charlotte, but after tonight I feel, along with the NXT Crowd tonight that it’s time for a Triple Threat!

Tyson Kidd & Natalya Segment

Tyson is seen backstage prepping for his match later tonight. Natalya comes in to check on him. She expresses how excited she is, but it doesn’t take long for this to turn into an argument. Tyson and Nattie go back and forth about how Nattie cost Tyson his title match and how Tyson could of earned this shot on his own. The segment ends when Tyson says he needs to go find Zayn and go over stuff for their tag match later tonight. It was interesting to hear Tyson blame Nattie for his loss, and it seems that this relationship is suffering form Tyson’s failures as Nattie just tries to help!

Mojo Rawley vs.Garrett Dylan

Before this match begins we are shown a video of Aiden English and the man he met last week. The video was shot in black and white and made to look like it was on a projector. The two talk in the way of the classics movie. The video was to hype up the new tag team of English and this new strange man. Mojo’s music begins to play, and the man who is always hype makes his way to the ring. Already in the ring is a man we have not seen before, his opponent Garrett Dylan! Mojo quickly takes the advantage as he locks Dylan in a headlock before taking him down with a hip toss while keeping the headlock in tact. Dylan briefly gets out of the move, but not for long as Mojo once again locks in the headlock. The two got to there feet, and Mojo backs Garrett up into the turnbuckle were he begins to slam Dylan with shoulder blocks. Dylan stumbles out of the turnbuckle, but Mojo backs him into another one and continues with the shoulder blocks. Dylan finally fights back as he takes out a running Mojo’s leg, sending him face first into the turnbuckle pad. Dylan continues to beat down on Rawley, lifting him up for for a back suplex. Garrett stomps on Mojo and chokes him on the bottom rope, than he bounces Mojo of the ropes and catches him in an abdominal stretch. Dylan punches at the ribs on Mojo, trying to get him to tap out, but Rawley fights out of it when he arm drags Dylan. The two struggle to get back to their feet, but once there both up they begin to exchange a few punches. Dylan backs off into a turnbuckle, Mojo takes advantage as he runs full force at Dylan hitting him with a splash while he was in the turnbuckle. Garrett Dylan stumbles out of the turnbuckle into the center of the ring as Mojo plants him with a rear end to the face before hitting Hyper Drive to pick up the win.

Winner – Mojo Rawley

Grade – C, Mojo continue to win, but still over talent no body knows, or no body cares about! His only real feud was between English, and even tough English put up more of a challenge than anyone else Mojo has faced, he was still made to look weak compared to him. Mojo is suffering the same fate as the tag champs right now, the only difference is The Ascension’s matches are a lot more entertaining than Mojo’s. I’m not sure what the WWE sees in him, but so does the NXT Universe because he is over with just about everyone but myself!

Tyson Kidd & Sami Zayn Segment

Sami Zayn meets up with Tyson backstage. Sami talks about how both he and Tyson have suffered huge losses as of late, but tonight is about the tag team championships! Tyson agrees and states that tonight is the restart. I’m excited for this match The hard hitting style of The Ascension meets the high flying style of Tyson Kidd and Sami Zayn!

The Vaudevillians (Aiden English & Simon Gotch) vs. Angelo Dawkins & Travis Tyler

Before our next match begins we see CJ Parker walking around the NXT Universe with his recycled sign. The screen turns black and white as Aiden English and Simon Gotch make their way out on opposite sides. English comes out with a mega phone and holds it up to his mouth as Gotch holds a microphone up to the megaphone. English introduces himself and Gotch as The Vaudevillians, some old time music plays over the loud speaker as the two make their way down to the ring. Already in the ring our their opponents Angelo Dawkins and Travis Tyler! Simon Gotch and Angelo Dawkins are in the ring first. Dawkins makes the first move as he takes Gotch down with a basic slam, but Simon turns it around while he is on the mat, locking Dawkins in a hammer lock and doing one arms push-ups on the back of Dawkins. Angelo gets up and quickly tags in Tyler. Travis Tyler goes right after Gotch, but Simon turns it around once again and locks Tyler in a headlock. He backs up into his corner where he tags in English and his an uppercut to the back of the head of Tyler while Aiden his him with a boot that only gives him a two count. English continues to beat down on Tyler, hitting him with an impressive leg drop and working on the wrist of his opponent before tagging Simon Gotch back in. Gotch and English work together, and Simon goes right back to working on the wrist and forearm of Travis using both his feet and hands! Tag is made again, and The Vaudevillians once again work together, as Simon hols Travis there while English lands a punch to the ribs of Tyler. English continues to dominate over Travis Tyler using his knees as weapons and constantly keeping Tyler locked in a headlock before making yet another tag to Simon Gotch. Gotch gets in while English holds Travis from behind, Simon lands a quick punch right to the gut and holds onto Tyler’s arm while he reaches out to his partner. While Tyler was reaching for Dawkins, Simon Gotch was doing squats, before he pulled Tyler back and tagged in English. Before getting out Simon Gotch hit Travis Tyler with a Kamikaze Roll, allowing English to climb to the top rope and hit a Senton Flip for the win!

Winners – The Vaudevillians

Grade – B-, The Vaudevillians making their debut here tonight as a team, and Simon Gotch as well making his debut on NXT. The dominated their opponents here tonight, specifically Travis Tyler, and the looked good doing it. I’ve been saying for quite a long time now that The Ascension needed some game opponents, and with new teams rising up including The Vaudevillians, I have a feeling the tag champs may be in trouble. My only gripe about this match is that it went on a little longer than it should, but other than that I love The Vaudevillians!

Backstage Interview W/ Colin Cassady

Devin Taylor is backstage ready to interview Big Cass. Devin talks about Colin’s victory over Sylvester Lefort last week. Colin comments on how this have been smooth sailing for him, but if could be better and he thinks its time it gets better. Colin ends the interview by singing us out. With recent talk during his matches about him and the NXT title, I can only assume that is what Big Cass is talking about here, and i couldn’t be more excited about it!

Backstage Interview W/ Rob Van Dam

Devin Taylor is backstage with RVD! She asks Van Dam what he plans on doing here as she welcomes him to the show. Van Dam expresses how great the talent is on NXT and claims he found the top dog in our NXT Champion Adrian Neville and expresses that he wants to challenge. What a huge opportunity for Neville as he has an opportunity to step in the ring with the legendary R V D!

Kalisto vs. Tyler Breeze

Kalisto makes his way down to the ring first to a huge crowd response. The crowd chanted “Lucha” at Kalisto as he made his way to the ring, out next is Prince Pretty himself, the number one contender to the NXT Championship Tyler Breeze! The Bell rings, and this match is under way! The two lock up, Breeze pushes Kalisto back into the turnbuckle but the two continue to counter each other for the next few seconds. Breeze, obviously frustrated with Kalisto screams at him “I’m the Number One Contender!” Once again they lock up, but this time Tyler manages to lock Kalisto in a head lock. Kalisto tries to get out of is by tossing Breeze off, but Tyler manages to hang on and keep Kalisto in the headlock while taking him down with a hip toss. Tyler covers him but only for a two, Breeze tries for another pin, but once again only a two count! Tyler continues to keep the headlock locked in, as Kalisto manages to get back to his feet and toss Breeze off again, but Tyler counters once again dropping down and keeping the headlock locked in still! Kalisto rolls Breeze over getting a quick pin of one, but once again Breeze get out and keeps the headlock locked in for awhile longer. Kalisto manages to get to his feet again and once again tried to toss Tyler over, but he hangs on, this time though Kalisto rolls backwards to get out of the hold and quickly jumps off the ropes to hit Breeze with a spinning crossbody. Kalisto bounces off the ropes, Breeze tried to trip him by sliding his body in front of him but Kalisto jumped over him and managed to catch Breeze’s head between his feet, before tossing him to the outside of the ring. Kalisto began to run against the ropes and looked like he was going to jump to the outside onto Breeze, but faked him out as we go to commercial break. Once we back, Tyler quickly gets back in control with a jawbreaker and than continued to stomp Kalisto into the turnbuckle. Breeze continues to control the match once again with a headlock. After holding him down for quite awhile, Kalisto fights back to his feet and eats a forearm from Breeze before connecting with a hurricarana  pin for only a two count. Tyler quickly gets two his feet and jumps at Kalisto hitting him with a straight punch to the head. Breeze begins to shower his opponent with fist while he lays on the ground, Tyler covers him for a pin of only 2. Frustrated Breeze continues to pin his opponent but Kalisto kicked out every time. Kalisto began to fight back but it was not long until Breeze once again took him down with a headlock. Breeze held on to the headlock and eventually got back to his feet, he ran Kalisto face first into the turnbuckle and went to cover him for the pin, but Kalisto managed to roll away from Breeze towards the outside apron. Breeze went after, but paid for hit when Kalisto kicked straight up into Breeze’s face!  Kalisto climbs to the top turnbuckle and lands a crossbody on Breeze. Unfortunately Kalisto could not capitalize and both men laid there as the ref began the count. We almost saw this match end, when the referee  reached the count of nine but both Breeze and Kalisto made it up to their feet. Kalisto lands a kick to Breeze’s leg and than continues by blocking Breeze’s punch and landing his own, both superstars are standing on wobbly legs, Breeze rolls Kalisto up, but Kalisto rolls out of the pin and than rolls over to Breeze to land a stiff kick to the face of the Number One Contender. Kalisto covers Breeze, but only for a count of two! Breeze gets up into the turnbuckle and Kalisto runs at him, Tyler counters by tossing Kalisto over the ropes, but Kalisto lands on the outside apron and climbed to the top of the turnbuckle. Breeze saw him and went running at him, but Kalisto dodged him using the top rope to cartwheel away from Breeze. Once again Tyler ran after Kalisto this time he ducked under Breeze’s clothesline and than hung onto the ropes continuing to catch Breeze off guard! Kalisto spring boarded off the ropes, but this time Tyler catches Kalisto off guard landing The Beauty Shot on him and covering him for the three.

Winner – Tyler Breeze

Grade – C, Not a good showing for either of these two today. Maybe I went in having high hopes, but this match really disappointed me. I’ve heard some really good things about Kalisto but have yet to see any of this, and I know Tyler is much better. I may be given this match to much criticism right now because at times this match was really good when the two actually fought! but what ruined this match the most is I felt like I just sat through a match that was 90% headlock and 10% wrestling. It just could of been much better. The Number One Contender continues riding the wave of momentum, as he in my honest opinion dominated Kalisto tonight with just a small hiccup at one point! I’ve heard that he has suffered an injury so I suspect he will be out of action for only a short time, but this could be a great time for him to WOW us with his mic skills. Probably the worst match I’ve seen of Tyler, but I’m still a fan, and I’m still excited for whats coming next!

NXT Tag Team Championship!

Tyson Kidd & Sami Zayn vs. The Ascension (c) (Konner O’Brian & Rick Viktor)

Before the entrances, it was officially announced that next week on NXT, RVD takes on the NXT World Champion Adrian Neville, and also it was announced that the Number One Contender, Tyler Breeze has left the building! Tyson Kidd makes his way to the ring first and Sami Zayn follows. Soon the NXT Tag Team Champions make their way to the ring and this title match is under way! Sami Zayn and Viktor start off the match, and Viktor takes the early control over Zayn hitting him with hard hitting strikes and eventually bouncing him chest first off the ropes and into his forearm. Viktor began to beat down on Zayn eventually striking Zayn into the turnbuckle. He continued the strikes before pulling Zayn out of the turnbuckle just to toss him right back in. Zayn bounced off the turnbuckle and he stumbled over to the middle of the ropes. Viktor once again bounced Zayn off the ropes chest first and striking him with his forearm. Viktor picked Zayn up and went to bounce him off the ropes again, but Sami used the ropes to springboard over Viktor’s shoulders, and takes him down with a dropkick. Zayn covers Viktor for a one count, he then gets Viktor in a headlock and tries to tag in Kidd, but Viktor lifts Zayn up onto his shoulders and runs him into his turnbuckle, where Konner tags himself in. Konner lands a stiff punch to the temple of Zayn, and than tosses him back into his turnbuckle and begins to shower Sami with stiff stomps. The fans Chat “YAH” every time Konner strikes him, and as he backs up the begin to chant “One More YAH!” Witch Konner gladly grants them! Viktor gets the tag back in and covers Zayn for only a two. Viktor quickly begins to strike Zayn once again, not allowing him to get back into the match at all! Viktor leads Zayn up against the ropes and lands a forearm right onto the jaw before striking him back into his corner where he makes the tag to Konner. Konner only briefly comes in and showers Zayn with more stomps to the gut before tagging Viktor back in. Zayn tries to get away and make a tag to Tyson, but Viktor grabs him! Zayn tries to get Viktor off him, landing elbows onto the side of Viktor’s skull, but Rick Viktor pulls Zayn back by his tights and hits him with an impressive spine buster. The two battle some more, and eventually the camera pans over to Tyson Kidd as it seems he is leaving telling Zayn “If you want to fight the whole match, than fight the whole match.” Zayn and Viktor continue to battle inside the ring. Viktor gains control and tosses Zayn into his corner while looking over at Tyson. Sami ran at Konner and hit him with a forearm and than put his boots up to catch Viktor. Sami climbed to the top of the turnbuckle and landed and flying crossbody onto Rick Viktor. Zayn reaches for the tag to Tyson Kidd, but notices he isn’t there. Sami get into his corner and him and Tyson begin to exchange words. Meanwhile Konner gets the tag in and starts to stare down Zayn in the opposite corner before running at him and hitting him with a monstrous splash as he catches Zayn off guard. Konner makes the tag back into Viktor and The Ascension measure Sami up and hit him with The Fall of Man! Viktor covers Sami for the win.

Winners & still NXT Tag Team Champions – The Ascension!

Grade – B, Not a bad match tonight, but it could of been so much better! The story line comes first here tonight though, as it would seem Tyson Kidd has officially turned Heel! as he abandoned his partner and left him high and dry to the Tag Team Champions! Konner and Viktor to my surprise continued the dominance. I had no doubt that they were going to win, but I thought we would of seen a more competitive match, but the entire match Sami Zayn just got beat down both The Tag Champs, and the second where the action could of picked up, Tyson Kidd was not there to make the tag! I don’t know for sure, but I think we may have a Tyson Kidd/Sami Zayn feud coming up soon! However The Ascension wins what shout of been a hard match, rather easily! and continues to reign over the NXT Tag Team Division!

Superstar of the Night – Tyson Kidd

Tyson Kidd, despite not winning the Tag Team Titles tonight, still ends up being the Superstar of the night. The show was built around him! We had several segments featuring him in some sort of way from the opening with Natalya and JBL to Kidd and Zayn getting pumped up for their title match, and than he made the main event match all about him, with out even stepping in the ring. Tyson Kidd made his Heel turn tonight when he abandoned Zayn and fed him to The Ascension. Kidd is becoming a big part of NXT, and with Tyler Breeze out for an injury, Tyson could fill his spot while he is gone, but than again, I’m sure Sami Zayn wants a little revenge on Tyson first!
