After Months of Drops, Party Favor Releases New 11-Track “Layers” LP

After months and months of teasing this project, it is finally here. Today we are re-visiting Area 25 for Layers, the brand new official debut LP for MiR favorite Party Favor. When you have the chance to work with someone like Party Favor, that is definitely not an opportunity that you turn down. With an impressive resume as a genre-bending artist and producer, Party Favor has seen plenty of glory with his multitude of original tracks such as “MDR” and “Give It To Me Twice”. Party Favor has even accomplished quite a bit as a producer for major artists like Lil Jon and ASAP Ferg, with all of his work earning him an impressive 135 million streams on Spotify.

Now, this Layers LP is definitely something special, having a type of track for almost any electronic music fan out in the ether. Whether you like the bass-driven opener “Holdin’ On”, the hip-hop musings of “Wait a Minute”, or the groovy yet silky vocals of “Dreams”, Layers has a track for you. The LP’s artwork is also incredibly special, as it was created by the same tattoo artist who has inked Party Favor’s own tats. The mountain is supposed to represent his fondest memories growing up in Utah, while the 25 slashes are for his age when his musical career started to soar. Even if you keep peeling back the Layers, you won’t discover the entire story.

You can check out the entire Layers release on Spotify below!
