Ready to be Entranced & Motivated? New Track From Vocalist JES “Get Me Through The Night”

Man, it’s been six months since we last heard from you JES, where have you been? Rounding out our weekend playlist we have the latest from JES, a recent banger known as “Get Me Through The Night”. If you haven’t had the pleasure of hearing JES, then you sincerely have been missing out as she has been making waves. JES has been featured on popular tracks such as Cosmic Gate’s “Fall Into You” and FATUM’s “Anything Can Happen”, the latter being featured in Armin Van Buuren’s “A State of Trance 2016” compilation. JES has been accepted by the global audience, having performed on every continent except for Antarctica.

It has been far too long since JES has graced us with her presence. With such a prolific career and following, it is a huge surprise that JES would be back with yet another dance hit. While “Get Me Through The Night” features deep bass lines and an opening melodic synth that sets the scene, it is easily overshadowed and carried by JES’s powerful and motivational vocal work/lyrics. She is able to reach listeners around the world for a reason, after all. JES, keep coming back to us. We love what you bring each time you come to visit.

“When the night brings out the sadness of a messed up love, that emptiness can be filled with the strength of pushing through the bad times. I wanted to write something that put that idea of light and dark into the context of a relationship, because it all comes down to not giving up and having faith that you will pull through in the end.” – JES

Be sure to listen to “Get Me Through The Night” in full below:

Oh, Too Many Ephwurds…New Track “Money” Ft. Fatman Scoop

Alright, this time we aren’t going to censor ourselves. EPHWURDS. Rounding out this weekend we have the latest from Ephwurd, who brings us “Money” from the recently formed Eph’d Up Records. While this isn’t the first and will not certainly be the last hit from Ephwurd, we can’t wait for what they will surprise us with next. Ephwurd has been absolutely tearing it up since 2015 and continue to have a monumental 2017 with the new formation of his record label Eph’d Up Records, as well as Eph’d Up Radio and a busy North American concert tour.

Ephwurd, you really know how to go hard from the first second. From the opening vocal about everyone needing money, “Money” slams feet to the floor as you slam hard waiting for the bass to drop. The wait is well worth it, as the drop is heavy, not just regular heavy, but and Ephwurd-style heavy. With signature Ephwurd breakbeats and serrated synths carrying the track. It’s hard for Fatman Scoop to add to it with vocal work. He does, however, killing it each time the track is played.

Be sure to give “Money” a full listen below:

Ready to SLANDER? New Remix of Post Malone’s “I Fall Apart”

While their name may mean to spread lies and defame someone or an ideal, we are definitely not doing that here. Rounding out this weekend we bring you the latest from SLANDER with their remix of Post Malone’s “I Fall Apart”. While the initial track is on its way to being a mad slasher, this remix is an example of the bass work that we can come to expect from SLANDER. While the duo is just now making waves in the industry, the duo has been absolutely busy throughout 2017. While they have found initial success in original productions such as “Superhuman” and “We Out”, they have kept themselves busy on their Superhuman tour.

Now it is hard to follow up and remix “I Fall Apart” successfully without butchering it completely. Unlike a number of remixes we have heard, SLANDER doesn’t necessarily toy with the beautiful vocals. Instead, they stay within their strengths and focus on bass and synth work. Now a bass-heavy banger with metallic synths that identify this remix as a SLANDER remix, “I Fall Apart” has been successfully remade. Well done SLANDER. (Link Deleted)
