Eptic Drops the Brand New Powerful “Flesh & Blood” EP!

When you have this amount of “Power” in your arsenal, it could definitely be the time to use it, (Yes, we are also retiring these word games). Taking a moment to stop off over at Monstercat, we finally are checking out Eptic’s newest release his Flesh & Blood EP. Making is initial debut back in 2014 with his Like a Boss EP, Eptic made it known that he was here to stay after aforementioned EP topped Beatport’s dubstep charts for seven consecutive weeks. Since then, Eptic has released multiple successful originals and mixes adjoined with the Never Say Die and Spinnin’ rosters such as the heavy “Southside” with DJ Snake. While Eptic just debuted on Monstercat in early August with “Let It Go”, a collab with Dillon Francis, he may have found his next semi-permanent home.

“I’m excited and proud to present this new ep to you all. The whole thing has been in the works for almost a year, and it’s the most blood, sweat, and tears I’ve ever put into the musical and visual aspect of a project. I’ve field-tested all of these songs out during my shows and made so many adjustments over time to make sure everything bangs in a live setting. There are a whole lot more new music and unexpected collaborations coming, paired with a brand new merch line as well. This is the most excited I’ve been in my career so far, and I hope you are too.” – Eptic

Alright everyone, move out of the way and give room for this modern bass maestro. This brand new EP is definitely one to showcase Eptic’s range and skills with audible aesthetics, easily creating a fragmented yet intriguing soundscape for these tracks to exist in. While we already heard both “Power” and “Let It Go” through previous promotional teases, they are low in comparison to our favorite track on the EP “Violence”. Eptic uses distorted sound bytes from a news anchor report to create this initial illusion, only to be thrown into pure chaos with Eptic’s mechanical effects combined with futuristic laser sounds. “Violence” is the right amount of chaos we need in our music, and Eptic willingly satisfies that urge. Brilliant Producer Throttle Drops “Japan”, an Introspective on the Feeling of Home.

There are wunderkinder in every form throughout the ages, and we just happen to have one active now . While out vacationing we stopped by Monstercat for “Japan”, Throttle’s 2nd single off his upcoming album. Throttle has changed and grown since his 14-year-old bedroom producer days. Throttle has collaborated with high profile artists such as Galantis and Oliver Heldens, as well as officially remixing Ed Sheeran and performing at Tomorrowland, even before he was legally allowed to drink. Throttle has numerous production, remix, and original credits earning him home at Universal, Warner Music, Spinnin’ Records, and PRMD. He currently rakes in about 200 million Spotify streams on a monthly basis, so he’s kind of a big deal.

Following his first Monstercat track in six years “Dreamer”, this track gives us a bit of a toned-down side of Throttle. Serving as an introspective, “Japan” describes the feeling of home and how the loss of that feeling can provide some clarity. The longing of a familiar place, whether it is a home or within the arms of a loved one, is a universal feeling and Throttle’s lyrics express that. Throttle injects an almost fragile melody and a gentle drop that will easily touch your heart and caress the negativity that exists inside. “Japan” will fill listeners with hope and calm them down when life gets rough. Throttle we can’t wait for the rest of your EP, don’t keep us waiting.

With a Second Tease of Upcoming EP, Eptic Drops Bass-Heavy “Power” on Monstercat

When you make as impressive of a debut as this artist has, you can easily be tossed into the wunderkind category. Starting off the journey we are heading over to Monstercat for “Power”, the brand new track from the Eptic wunderkind. Making is initial debut back in 2014 with his Like a Boss EP, Eptic made it known that he was here to stay after aforementioned EP topped Beatport’s dubstep charts for seven consecutive weeks. Since then, Eptic has released multiple successful originals and mixes adjoined with the Never Say Die and Spinnin’ rosters such as the heavy “Southside” with DJ Snake. “I’m not gonna lie, it took me a while to figure out this song. I wrote the drop pretty early on in progress, but I couldn’t get the mix or intro right. It was only after I was about to give up and really reflected on my own production skills that I tried a different approach and could make it work. I’m proud to say that after all this “Power” is one of my favorite songs I’ve ever made – production and songwriting wise, and it really set the standard for all the other tracks on this EP.” – Eptic

Eptic’s Monstercat debut was definitely a strong one, and it definitely made an impression on audiences. So, of course, Eptic dropped another bass-heavy dubstep killer for us to enjoy. The second single off of Eptic’s upcoming Flesh & Blood EP, “Power” is the thrilling result of heavy bass, video game sounds, and mechanical synths. The track initially makes us feel like we are about to whoomp our enemies, but then quickly devolves into a sinister and mechanical mash. The synths stab you as you groove along, keeping your attention as the dance floor is set ablaze. We can’t wait for the rest of this EP!
